paypal payment pro sandbox takes me to live site when trying to sign up - paypal

When I am trying to sign up for website payments pro in the sandbox, I get redirected to the live paypal site.
I have seen the same question asked here: Signing up for website payments pro in paypal sandbox redirects to live paypal site
where the it seems that the account is already running payments pro. However on my business setup>>my payment solution it says i am running payments standard.
Any idea on how i change it to payments pro? I changed the page to sandbox.path when getting redirected but the next link redirects me again to the live site.
Thanks in advance
Nad

There are some issues that are still being addressed in the sandbox with some pages directing to the live site. Can you provide the email address for your test sandbox seller account and I will enable pro on the account from my end.

Payment via Braintree in flutter application

I am building a marketplace app and want to include payment via PayPal with Braintree (see documentation: flutter_braintree). Right now I am working with a braintree sandbox trial account.
As far as I am understanding it correctly, I have to save the braintree tokenizationKey for every company to enable payments directly to them and not to the marketplace. Due to test reasons I included the tokenizationKey of my braintree sandbox account.
I am successfully directed to the PayPal checkout page where I can't login since it's in sandbox mode. When I select "proceed with sandbox purchase" I am then redirected to the application and do receive a BraintreePaymentMethodNonce.
Here you can find the screen where I can't login.
But somehow I can't see any transactions in the dashboard of my sandbox account.
Am I mistaken with the way tokenization works or where is the problem?
I am successfully directed to the PayPal checkout where I can't login since it's in sandbox mode.
Use a sandbox buyer (personal) account from https://www.paypal.com/signin?intent=developer&returnUri=https%3A%2F%2Fdeveloper.paypal.com%2Fdeveloper%2Faccounts%2F
If the companies only have PayPal accounts rather than Braintree accounts, you can use PayPal via Braintree and a braintree access_token from PayPal for authentication to get the client token on your server (no tokenizationKey)
I was also having the same issue. Now I found the solution. All you have to do is link you braintree sandbox to your paypal sandbox. Here is the process of linking your sandbox accounts.

Paypal Website Payment Pro Merchant Configuration Error

I have a store, based on opencart, and to this day I have two types of payments configured, one is paypal express checkout and the other is paypal website payments pro, for both options I needed to enter info like api password, username and signature, info that is the same for both cases - and double checked - when someone buy something and pay with paypal express checkout it works wonderfully, but when they try to use paypal website payments pro it says that there's a configuration merchant error. Checked and double checked, nothing, re-create the credentials again, nothing, I don't know what else to do I was wondering if someone around had the same error and if there's a solution for this?
Thanks a lot!
Arturo
Invalid Merchant Configuration means that DoDirectPayment is not enabled on your PayPal account, which means you don't have Payments Pro active.
It could also mean that Pro was approved, but you never agreed to the $30/mo payment. That agreement would show up in your overview when you login to your PayPal account.
Another possibility is that you've been approved for "PayPal Payments Pro 2.0" which uses the PayFlow API instead of the DoDirectPayment API. In that case, DDP would not be enabled on your account and would result in the error you're getting.
Have you been paying the $30/mo to PayPal for Pro?

PayPal sandbox takes me to live site when trying to change Payment Solution to Website Payments Standard

When I am trying to change the payment solution from from 'PayPal Digital Goods (PayPal Express Checkout)' to 'Website payments Standard' in the sandbox, I get redirected to the live paypal site.
I have seen a similar question asked here which was resolved by adding the payment solution to the account by a paypal developer team member.
Any idea on how I can add the desired payment solution added?
Thanks in advance

PayPal error 3005 using Magento and standard payments

I've already posted this on the PayPal mts and the x.com sites but had no response.
I am looking at a clients website which is having issues taking payments using the PayPal standard payments. The Magento based site (CE 1.6.10) redirects to Paypal fine but when a customer tries to pay PayPal goes to and error page with error code 3005. I have tried using the sandbox on a development version of the site and this works fine.
The Magento site uses a secondary email address as the PayPal address and this all seems fine within the verified PayPal account.
Do you have any ideas on why this may be failing.

How to create Payflow link sandbox account

I need to create payflow link module for website and I need test account.
I do not want to buy Payflow link, but I want to create something like Sandbox offers.
Is there any solutions to get it?
Not just paypal sandbox account, but Payflow link, with Partner, Merchant login and other details
Paypal is retiring Payflow link in favor of Website Payments Standard and Pro. I had to sign up for a Website Payments account and then send a support ticket to change it back to Payflow. In my support ticket I explained that I already had an app using Payflow and needed to be able to test it still. They will give you a spiel about how everyone will have to upgrade soon, but if you insist that you have to test with the current technology (Payflow) then you'll get your account changed.
