Missing email notification in Paypal Sandbox - paypal

Usually Payment Notification email would be sent to buyer and seller. For some reason, I do not see this in Paypal Sandbox Notification list of both buyer and seller. However when login buyer or seller Paypal Sandbox account, the transaction is there but no notification was received.
I checked the setting, the email notification is set by default.
Also when test issuing refund, for some reason, the notification email is sent out (i.e. listed in Notification menu).
Help. What do I miss and suggestion please?

On the sandbox PayPal doesn't send actual emails out. Instead, any email that a sandbox account would typically get sent goes to your developer account.
Log in to your account at http://developer.paypal.com, then click to Applications, and then Sandbox Accounts. Click the little arrow next to an account in there to display extra links, one of which is Notifications.
Click into Notifications to see email notifications that you would typically expect to get at your real email on a live account.

Sometimes it needs time to be those notifications visible in the developer console too. We have to wait 5 hours in some cases.

PayPal Express Checkout Email Notifications

I have setup the PayPal express API buttons but it seems when i make a payment all goes through successfully however, from the seller side i am not receiving any emails telling me i have received a payment or such. I looked at the email notifications on the developer site there is nothing being sent out.
Am i doing something incorrectly or does the express checkout not send emails.

Ensure the sandbox Business account receiving the payment has a confirmed email in the sandbox environment.
Log into it at https://www.sandbox.paypal.com/businessprofile/settings/email
Send the confirmation from there, if necessary
Read and proceed with the confirmation, via https://developer.paypal.com/developer/notifications

transaction not showing in sandbox

The test sale is being processed by HikaShop, going completely through the PayPal process and a confirmed payment email is being sent to the owner of the test store but the transaction is not showing in the owner's sandbox.
This is my first attempt at setting up an online store using PayPal and I don't know what to do next.
Help appreciated.
Edit: I added the buyer to the seller's sandbox accounts. I can now see the email confirmation to the buyer on the sandbox notifications but I still can't see any transactions.

Not getting a confirmation email in Paypal sandbox

I have set up several buyer account in the sandbox and made purchases through my website. The purchases are "pending" because the test account email aren't confirmed through Paypal.
I've gone to my test account Notifications but there doesn't seem to be a way to confirm these accounts. All I get are emails like this:

When it arrives, you'll need to activate it:
- Log in to PayPal and go to your Settings.
- Click Payment preferences, then click Update under "In-store checkout."
- Click Activate under "Payment card."
After that, you can use your PayPal payment card in participating retail stores to pay with your balance - or any bank account or credit card linked to your PayPal account.

Emails in the sandbox don't actually send to any real email address. They all get sent to the Notifications section of the account within your developer account.
Login to http://developer.paypal.com, go to your list of sandbox accounts, and find the little notifications link under each individual sandbox account. That is basically your inbox for that sandbox account.
For other developers who may face this issue. You need to login to https://www.sandbox.paypal.com then click on Profile settings (top right) and under Login and security, click Update Email.
In the next page, you'll see a list of email(s) which you can confirm by clicking on Edit and then Confirm this email. Once you've done that, go back to your developer account and check out the Notifications section at https://developer.paypal.com/developer/notifications
You'll see a notification with subject Activate Your PayPal Account.

PayPal sandbox IPN subscription payments not coming through?

I have setup two sandbox accounts with PayPal.
owner#example.com as the main business account
buyer#example.com as the payee/client account
I have tested my IPN script through the sandbox IPN simulator, and it works.
Now I am trying to test a subscription button where buyer#example.com signs up for a 1 week free trial subscription to owner#example.com
I have turned on IPN notifications in the owner#example.com sandbox account and have created and saved a custom button with the notify_url=http://example.com/ipn.php value set in section 3 of the custom button creator.
And after creating a subscription with buyer#example.com and a payment to owner#example.com ... the data is being shown in the sandbox account when I log in, but no IPN notifications are being sent to my http://example.com/ipn.php as I had specified. And there is no ipn history being shown on the sandbox paypal account history, either.
Has anybody encountered a similar experience? I am not receiving anything from PayPal after sending the test payments via sandbox.
What gives?
With subscriptions you're going to need to configure IPN in the PayPal account profile. It won't use the notify_url value for all of the payments on a profile. It will only use the URL (if any) configured in the profile.

Does PayPal Sandbox send emails?

Just curious, working with PayPal Sandbox works fine but I never receive any emails, neither as a sandbox seller nor as a buyer. I can just see them as "Notification" under PayPal Developer website > Applications > Sandbox accounts > click Notifications.
Should or should not I be receiving real emails as well?
The sandbox environment doesn't send emails. You can just check the notifications inside your developer account only.
Sandbox doesnot send to any email form the user,If you wanna give the detail that how much money less so you can login seller account and check that how much money less in your account same as for buyer. and also sendbox send notification in buyer and seller account.
