Where to download Android 2.2 Froyo source code? - android-source

I want to download android 2.2 froyo source code, but actually here https://android.googlesource.com is available android 2.3 gingerbread. How can I switch to previous version?

You'll want to pick a project and select the 'froyo' branch or use one of the 'android-2.2' tags to pull the 2.2 source after cloning the project's repo.

Where can I find binaries for previous versions of the "SonarQube for Eclipse" plugin?

I can easily get the latest version of the plugin from the Eclipse Marketplace or from the SonarQube website. However, I cannot find binaries for any previous version. I need this because at our company we use an old version of SonarQube (3.7.3), which the latest version of the plugin (3.5, as of august of 2015) doesn't support.
I have been able to find source code in GitHub. Is compiling the plugin myself the only feasible solution?
Here's the archives directory:

Missing Monodevelop version 4.0.1

I just did a fresh install of Unity 4.6.1 and it comes preloaded with Monodevelop v4.0.1.
However, when I go to monodevelop on github and I check the branches, the oldest source version is 4.0.12.
Does anyone know where I can find v4.0.1 source code for monodevelop?
You can get the latest version here. http://www.monodevelop.com/download/
Then link it through the Unity3D Editor as your Default Compiler. Go to Edit then Preferences.
If it was me I would just stay with v4.0.1.

In switch to Android Studio should my SDK location be the same as Eclipse version?

I'm trying to move from Eclipse ADT NDK build to Android Studio on my Mac OS X. In doing this, one thing I notice is the Project Structure's Android SDK Location for my ported project and for new projects is defaulting to be: /Users/user1/Development/adt-bundle-mac-x86_64-20131030/sdk.
Shouldn't the Android Studio come with its own SDK and shouldn't I be using it by default? I looked in the application install directory but found no signs of an SDK directory there. I'm concerned that the sdk is from October 30, 2013 and so it seems rather old. What are the implications of moving to a newer SDK?
Perhaps related to this is that when trying to use the old Eclipse Kepler that used to build for me:
I get notice on Eclipse launch:
This Android SDK requires Android Developer Toolkit version 23.0.0 or above.
Current version is 22.6.2.v2014032112031-1085508.
Please update ADT to the latest version.
Click "Check for Updates":
No Updates were found.
No Repository found at https://dl.google.com/alt.
Tried to update the repository to (for Kepler Eclipse):
https://dl.google.com/eclipse/plugin/4.3
Still no updates found but error about no repository goes away.
I resolved this later issue with the answer posted here.
cant comment on details of OSX but on linux/AS with Eclipse & AS , i found follow to help:
provision environment to use multiple versions of java JDK
install oracle JDK 1.7 that will be just for use by shell script running AS
note ASRoot/bin/studio.sh .... if [ -n "$STUDIO_JDK"
accordingly provide for the above ENV VAR and its use by the AS.studio.sh
that version of the JDK does nothing more than run AS
Then , for the ADT stuff (OK to be shared by Eclipse & AS ), you can keep updated another version of the SDK/ADT in a path where theres read access by both eclipse/ AS.
I think u can use ./android to keep updated this , original sdk/adt

Source Code for Entity framework 6.0.2

Why is there no source code history for entity framework:
http://entityframework.codeplex.com/releases/view/114074
We can download and build the latest release 6.1 (alpha) which we dont want to do but we cannot download and build earlier releases 6.0.2 (stable) which we do want to do?
Can anyone point me in the direction of finding that source code?
You can download source code directly from the Git repository.
The revision 7648d33dfb53589d9c32b605c61758a5a6c0b80b is tagged with 6.0.2 tag.

Android studio VCS integration

I'm trying to setup a VCS, in Android studio, to sync my android project between my desktop and my laptop. But it's not looking an intuitive procedure for a noob.
Can someone tell me the exactly steps I need to do?
I'd like to add a remote private Bitbucket repository (mercurial preferred over git), and push/pull changes using Android studio GUI. That's all, no branch, no merge, just a simple sync of java source files and xml resource files.
Is this possible?
Thank you all in advance.
I get occasional upvotes for this answer, so a bit of clarification is needed. The original answer was written, and true, when AS was in beta, before the 1.0 release. Nowdays, as of AS 1.1.0, the VCS integration is included in the IDE out of the box.
It works directly with both Bitbucket, Github (git and mercury) and some other VCS:es. So there is no need to play around with plugins for that. Just use the VCS menu and find what you need.
Old outdated answer:
Im regularily using the bitbucket plugin. To install it download the BitBucket plugin. In Android studio
File->Settings->Plugins and Install plugin from disk where you choose the entire plugin zip. That installs it without fuzz on win 8.
Try the bitbucket plugin: http://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/6207?pr=androidstudio
In general, for anything that is a generic IDE function (not specific to Android), you can simply follow IntelliJ's documentation.
In Android studio
File->Settings->Plugins
Enable Enable Subversion Integration checkbox and Apply
Then, Restart Android Studio and SVN will be integrated
