So we wrote an app & integrated it within our service as a feature for users to share their check-ins on their wall (ours is a location based check-in service). Integration runs on SMS (offline token) and Android (SDK integration).
We ran this well for the last 2-3 weeks, but got a 400 response earlier today, with this message
"Warning: This Message Contains Blocked Content: Some content in this message has been reported as abusive by Facebook users.","type":"OAuthException","code":368"
This has affected our integration on SMS (Android works fine). And we reckon it's because the messages being posted when users shared via SMS were akin i.e. same parameters being passed by a user, very frequently in a day, for essentially performing the same action (of a check in).
So my question, or plea for help really is: what do we need to do to get our app unblocked? who do we need to speak to? and what measures to put in place to ensure this never happens again?

I got a new iPhone (both old and new running iOS 15). I can't get contacts and apps transferred across.
I tried things from Apple support:
back up old iPhone
merge contacts on new one
I couldn't get that to work.
I tried the "quickstart" app which is supposed to come back after it disappears when you restart both phones and that didn't work.
I have the iCloud password logged in on both phones (although it seems to require logging in regularly too) and both have the same (good) Wi-Fi and Bluetooth running.
What am I missing?
I wound up having to contact Apple support via a chat, where I had to:
Erase the new iPhone down to the nubs (just leaving the 'carrier data' part alone
Change the Apple password again after I had just changed it hours ago
Back up the old iPhone to icloud, even though it had just been backed up hours ago.
wait for an update to IOS 16 to finish
restart the process of restoring from the old iPhone's backup
finally this worked ... Apple passwords are the most annoying; they apparently expire frequently but don't warn you about that, just stop working and you have to do the I forgot my password thing ... overall Android is easier for this function!

A change was made to have links in our emails changed from a token-based format to JWTs. After enabling this feature in production we started seeing a percentage of errors on our servers about not being able to decode the JWT as it was not valid. Looking at the invalid JWTs they appear to be totally different than what we were sending out (not even a subset of the JWT appears to be the same). Our best guess is something along the way was mangling the base64 encoding of the token parameter in our URL querystring. Every invalid request came from an IP associated with a "Microsoft Corporation" data center, widely spread across the US, not just a single data center or two. Also the user agent is predominately windows, although we have seen one or two linux. Interestingly no errors from OSX yet.
Is there some kind of link prefetch/virus scanner/etc somewhere in azure/microsoft/outlook/live.com land that I don't know about that may be causing this?

My mother is new to Facebook (and I don't have one) and she is wondering how to send a private message to a Facebook friend so that no other fried can see the message. Can anyone please post a method to do this. Thanks.
Private messages on Facebook are sent through Facebook Messenger.
If your mother is using a tablet or mobile phone then she should download the Messenger app from her device's app store. Once she has downloaded and logged in to the app, she can find instructions for how to send a private message on the following page: https://www.facebook.com/help/messenger-app/ipad/258606324230105?helpref=platform_switcher. Note the subheadings ('Messenger for Android', 'Messenger for Iphone' etc) which contain device specific instructions.
If your mother is using a computer then the following link from the Facebook Help Centre will guide her through the process: https://www.facebook.com/help/154917244574299

I am pretty sure this is ilegal.
I gave no permission also i dit not read any thing about it.
And i want it gone, can any one help me?
It is not showing anywhere, not in chrome://plugins chrome://settings or windows programs.
i dont have time to search for it and get nowhere...
if some one has the knowledge of this installation please respond, many thanks.
Regards.
Maybe you are confusing (one of the new features of FB) desktop notifications with something.
Firstly, its not illegal.
Secondly, I'm very sure that you have allowed it yourself.
How to remove it:
Open facebook.
Click on the lock in the address bar (where you type the url). You should see the lock before https:// (from where url starts).
You can see the Permissions tab there, which should show:
Notifications: Allowed by you.
Click on it and disable it.

I'm looking for an authoritative source on which browsers people browse facebook with. Specifically, I'm curious what percent IE6 and IE7 are at.
I constantly run into issues with IE7 on Facebook, and am trying to determine if it's worth my time to search for solutions.
I doubt if Facebook would release that private information.
You could use your own web server's log files (the server that hosts your facebook app) and get stats from those files. But I presume, you don't have access to those. So you might be able to make a guess by checking out the global stats here: http://www.w3counter.com/globalstats.php or http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp
EDIT
Some information from a hosting company about its Facebook stats. However, this information is from 2009. :|

Facebook has announced they are dropping support for IE7 (they already no longer support IE6). They have not announced numbers as far as I know. I doubt it will be worth it for you to support it as well for your Facebook app.
