I am pretty sure this is ilegal.
I gave no permission also i dit not read any thing about it.
And i want it gone, can any one help me?
It is not showing anywhere, not in chrome://plugins chrome://settings or windows programs.
i dont have time to search for it and get nowhere...
if some one has the knowledge of this installation please respond, many thanks.
Regards.
Maybe you are confusing (one of the new features of FB) desktop notifications with something.
Firstly, its not illegal.
Secondly, I'm very sure that you have allowed it yourself.
How to remove it:
Open facebook.
Click on the lock in the address bar (where you type the url). You should see the lock before https:// (from where url starts).
You can see the Permissions tab there, which should show:
Notifications: Allowed by you.
Click on it and disable it.

I did some google search on cars and the next day i started getting advertisement on cars on Facebook. Do Google and Facebook share browsing data, if so how.
Since they are concurrents, this would seem unlikely. You might however have left some clue that you were searching about cars on Facebook. The algorithm bases itself on pages you've visited. Also, many webpages contain a tracker from Facebook, generally bundled in the "Login with Facebook" button or "Like this page" button. It lets Facebook know you were there. That's probably what happened.

Sorry this is a n00bish question, but desperate times... I'm an admin on a Facebook page, been up for years. I'm consistently getting a redirect to what appears to be a page related to Facebook's GDPR "changes." I use the word 'changes' loosely - I have no idea what this is about. Now, I'm personally admining the page from Ireland, for an organization based in the US, I don't know if that matters.
This all worked up until a couple days ago. I change nothing, but now I get 'too many redirects', from every browser I try on various computers (Chrome, Firefox, even Edge.) Yes, all running Win10.
Here are some of the pages that come up, can't quite discern the loop but it seems like the problems with the 'facebook.com/gdpr' page, which I think is bogus, somehow.

https://www.facebook.com/pages/manage
https://www.facebook.com/gdpr/consent/?consent_mode=5&entry_product=cg_block&from_messenger=0
....
Am I correct in assuming that the problem's on Facebook's side? Could there be something in my pages config (it's a dirt simple page) that's causing this? And, as admin, how can I fix this since I can't log in! Thanks for your patience in reading this.

I'm currently on the phone with IBM and they can't seem to provide an answer. I've also searched on Google, but nothing is very clear. All I'm trying to do is automatically cc: myself on every single email I send.
I can't remember exactly where it is in Outlook nor what it is exactly called, but in Outlook I remember it was as simple as checkmarking a "automatically cc: myself" field in some preferences window.
Thank you much in advance.
Why do you want to cc: yourself on every email? You have your sent folder, you can view them there.
But if you really want to send a copy to yourself you can just modify the mail application, assuming you have design access to it. You also need to turn off the nightly update of your mail application from the design template on the server.
But there is not built-in setting to do it.
Update: Since the reason was disclosed to be a way to use emails as a kind of to-do list, my suggestion is to use flags and follow-ups.

I made a Check In Deal for my business a few days ago and it was approved. When I check on my or an employees phone to 'check in' to test the deal it does not show up.
If I check from the Facebook App on the iPhone it doesn't show a deal at all, the business shows up but not the deal.
If I check from the safari app and go to the mobile Facebook page when I click check in it shows the little logo confirming a deal at the location, but once you click it and/or post it no deal shows up to claim.
I had hoped for this deal to be going since the 1st and its now the 4th and I still do not see it. Wondering if anyone had any ideas that might get it to work, or if it just takes time to show up on phones even after its approved.
EDIT: I checked on a Virgin Mobile phone and it showed the "check in' logo but again, nothing once you click it, or check in from it.

How do I go about either making, or retrieving facebook short url's (fb.me) from a page, profile, event etc? I want to update my url shortener site - but if the user links to a facebook page I want to just return a fb.me link instead. Does facebook make their short urls on the fly, or does each page automatically already have one?
Facebook uses Bit.ly's services to shorten links from their site. While pages that have a username turns into "fb.me/<username>", other links associated with Facebook turns into "on.fb.me/*****". To you use the on.fb.me service, just use your Bit.ly account. Note that if you change the default link shortener on your Bit.ly account to j.mp from bit.ly this service won't work.
You can use bit.ly api to create facebook short urls find the documentation here
http://api.bitly.com
I'm not aware of any way to programmatically create these URLs, but the existing username space (www.facebook.com/something) works on fb.me also (e.g. http://fb.me/facebook )
