I am an IBM employee who created a DB2 on Cloud service. I received a message that I need to reactivate my account, with a link. Clicking the link does not reactivate the account.
When I go to the DB2 on Cloud console there remains a "Reactivate Free Tier" button. Clicking this just brings me the same dashboard the link takes me to and it does not contain (or where I can not find) my DB2 on Cloud service (and it does not reactivate the account)
When trying to log into the DB2 on Cloud database, I continue to receive the error message:
Connection authorization failure occurred. Reason: User ID or Password invalid. ERRORCODE=-4214, SQLSTATE=28000
Benjamin Schubert was able to reactivate my account. I've copied Benjamin's response below:
There is a bug with syndicated instances that we're working to resolve. In the meantime I've reactivated your instance manually. By the time reactivation comes back around (30 days from now) the issue will be fixed.

My account and subscription is active in portal.azure.com and also same account I have been using for azure devops as well, However while trying to add new service connection in release pipeline section I am seeing below error. Please help.
enter image description here
Please follow these steps to troubleshoot the error "You don’t appear to have an active Azure subscription".
Open a new InPrivate/incognito window of browser, and try to create a service connection again.
Go to https://ms.portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_Azure_Billing/SubscriptionsBlade to check if your subscription status is active.
Go to https://ms.portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/TenantPropertiesBlade to check whether the Security defaults is disabled.
In addition, when the user is assigned the subscription for the first time, it needs time to sync the changes when logging in to Azure DevOps.
If there is still the error, please report your issue to Developer Community, you could share your detailed messages in private channel (Microsoft Only).
I recently signed up for the Lite version (free) of Db2 in IBM. When I select 'open console', I receive an error message: {"trace":"89cc4337d11c197f1e4c12c51f027b77","errors":[{"code":"authentication_failure","message":"HWCSEC0016E: Authentication failed for SSO. This may caused by failed to generate access token in console side using existing credentials.","target":{"type":"","name":""},"more_info":""}]}. I've placed a couple of ticktets with IBM, but they say since I signed up for the 'free' service that they are unable to assist even though I only need assistance to access the service. Any thoughts?
Deleted the existing DB instance and created a new one in different location. And that worked for me.
I have setup an API Connect developer portal in the sandbox catalog (I've been following the basic tutorials about configuring an API developer portal found here).
I receive a message saying that i'll get a one time login link so that i can login to the portal as admin and reset my password. However, this never arrives. I have tried configuring the portal a number of times now and this link never comes. Therefore i'm unable to login as admin.
I've also tried using the 'request new password' option on the developer portal itself and entering my email but this also does not work
Is there a way I can retrieve the login link?
This could be a number of things:
1) the IBM emails often get flagged as spam
2) the IBM email server, or rather the people they've contracted this out to, doesn't fully comply with DKIM/SPF security, so if you are on a corporate server that requires this then you won't get your emails.
The workaround I've done in the past is spin up a gmail account and be sure to check my spam folder.
While I was trying to open the db service "Db2 Warehouse on Cloud" which I created it about 1 years before(It was called dashDB while I created it),I got the message "Your account is pending. Please wait up to 24 hours for email confirmation of your account. Also, check your spam folder. If you still have not received your email confirmation, contact Bluemix Support to get help."
I have waited for 24 hours but the confirmation mail still don't come...
Any suggestions will be appreciated!
Well..the service via bluemix seems to be inaccessible, but I can still access it using below URL.

I get the following error when linking IBM id to Bluemix:

Same problem here. But I realized that I already have registered in Bluemix.
So, right under "Already have an IBM ID?" there is: "Already signed up for Bluemix? Log in".
This "Log in" link points to login page which, after entering my credentials, it redirects to https://console.ng.bluemix.net/?direct=classic. I don't know what this argument "?direct=classic" means, but the page won't show. So I removed it and everything is working fine.
