i cant download Eclipse. Is that Eclipse's problem?
This is the link

Yes, after a planned maintenance outage, the eclipse.org website was unfortunately unreachable up to now (2. August, 2021), but is coming back up right now. Please try again. The load balancing might require some reloading of the website and there might still be some issues until everything will be fully recovered, but downloading using a mirror should not be a problem.
See eclipsestatus.io:
Update - Issue is coming from our main storage backend that requires a
full resynch in order to be in working condition again. Given the data
size, it will take about 13 hours. Thanks for your patience. We will
keep you posted.

I don't think the eclipse server is working right now...

When I try to run a project (Only this project and others work fine), it always stucks at the publishing(copy and paste point). It can work perfectly fine until one time I(not sure) accidentally click incrementally publish and then stop it forcefully. Then this problem persists. I try to clean the server and also try to empty the domain folder but none of them works. It is like very strange bug.
I don't want to try creating a new domain since I have add JAAS configuration and JNDI in this domain. Or can anyone tell me how to import the configuration into a new domain?
If I wait long time for it to finish, random problem occurs:
The problem is other project can be run in debug and this project also can previously. It is all just out of sudden when I forcefully stop some process in eclipse tho I am not sure whether it is because of.
This is so annoying and can anyone give some constructive advice? Thx a lot!
Anyone encountering similar situation and sharing his/her experience here will be appreciated. It does not have to be exactly same and any lead or hint are welcome, please.
Actually, I think it is definitely an eclipse bug.
Creating a new workspace and importing all the related projects and glassfish servers can solve the problems though I don't know the actual reason.
After updating to the newest version SourceTree application become unusable.
I tried several times to delete application and reinstall it, but result is always the same.
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?
This should be fixed in the current version.
I started a developing an app back in ~2009. It seems somehow there are 7 copies of the app I started developing. I'd love to delete all of them, but none of the 7 copies will load a dashboard page... you know... the dashboard page with the "delete" button. How should I proceed to remove these apps?
I get an HTTP500 from Facebook's servers via each link.
As suggested I reported this to Facebook as a bug mid Monday. I gave them my personal info so they could see my exact data. They were able to reproduce the "bug" and confirmed to me that something was wrong right away (within hours). Just now (mid Friday) I got a message stating essentially, "yeah, some system somewhere messed up when creating your apps, so they got made in a broken state. We manually deleted them for you." So while there may or may not still be a bug out there, my problem was solved in ~4 working days by reporting it directly as a bug.
I have a EPM 2007 deployment and i'm having a hard time with the issues and risks lists... You see, if i create a new risk or issue assigned to me, when i go to the root web of the pwa, it says that I have no risks or issues assigned to me!!! Me and all users...
I thought it might be happening because of some list or site customization, so i created a new project using the default template (providade by MS, the very basic one...) and created new risks and issues, but the error remain...
Can anyone help?
We ended up opening a ticket at MS and they fixed it... sadly they did not revealed what the problem was...
Today I tried to download EGit plug-in from eclipse.org, and waited an hour and nothing happened. I tried three more times, waited for three hours and stopped.
Then I tried to clone egit from the repository developers, but it began to clone at a rate of 5kbps.
Then I thought maybe something wrong with my Eclipse, and decided to download a new one. Eclipse main site opened with a super-slow speed (although bigger than 5kbps). I'm just afraid to download the installer at this speed.
Can anybody repoduce it? What should I do?
You're right, Eclipse updating can be horribly slow, regardless of connection speed.
From what I can tell, this is because it checks a whole bunch of slow servers looking for updates every time you try and install something. You can disable this behaviour in the "Install New Software" dialog by unchecking the "Contact all update sites" option. I find that things go an awful lot faster then.
I am exepriencing the same problem. I am developing a plug-in that depends on a feature on the eclipse site. The downloading of that feature takes sometimes up to 30 minutes, even though it is quite small.
This is probably based on eclipse servers which we can't influence. There are a couple bugs opened for this or similar issues. Feel free to comment on them to maybe get them fixed:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=331634
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=162101
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=189380
and so on .. there are a bunch of those.
Check your firewall. In my case disabling McAfee made it run smooth again.
I found some invalid links in Install/Update under Preferences, basically if you have any sort of invalid links which you may have added trusting in them to be update sites, it causes all downloads to be terribly slow. Go to Preferences>Install/Update and delete all your custom links that you added, you can specifically check the error log to tell you which links are invalid by running Update.
