Where can I find sample code for integrating iAds within my application? - iphone

I'm just starting to learn how to integrate iAds within my application. I have read all of the documentation on this provided by Apple, but I still have some questions about the process. Is there any sample code or better documentation out there that shows how to place iAds within an application?

I doubt you'll find any public sample code for this until Apple lifts the NDA on iOS 4, and even then it might take a while.
In the meantime, you should watch Session 112 - Integrating Ads with iAd from the freely available WWDC 2010 videos.

Three20 integration in iPhone

I am new for iPhone application development. I want to make an photo album application. But I don't know how to show images like slideshow in iPhone. After searching on internet I got an information about three20 open framework. So I want to know about how should I start with three20. I also downloaded the facebook source from github.
I also got some information that if we use some private API of three20 then our app won't be accepted for apple store.
so please guide me.

Apple referred indirectly to the three20 framework in their last Developer Conference and stated it is not necessary to use third party frameworks for photo viewer style scrolling applications. Three20 is fantastic coding, but is now outdated and solves a problem that has since been resolved by Apple's standard library code (e.g. photo scroller with zoom - Indeed Apple claim there was never a problem in the first place, but that there was insufficient documentation for developers to know how to do photo scrolling efficiently). Unless you want to implement the other specific three20 features you are best off avoiding using it. Check out the developer conference videos on advanced scroll views.

What are some good developer resources to make the move to iOS 5?

With Lion and the new Xcode and ARC and Storyboard and the little glitches that many of us have found in trying to make the move into iOS 5, it can be quite intimidating for a junior developer to make the jump.
I know there are similar questions that touch on specific tasks related to making the switch, but not quite what I and probably others are looking for.
So, what are some good resources to help iOS 4 and Xcode 3 developers make the switch to the new technology?
I had quite some success switching using the Apple WWDC 2011 videos concerning new technologies, especially ARC. If you want to spend a few dollars, I also would recommend iOS 5 by tutorials by Ray Wenderlich. if you are already somewhat familiar with the iOS 4 technologies. The book currently is not done but digital buyers get the current beta version which is almost complete. You can see the introductory chapters on the site as well , category iOS 5, and depending on your needs this may already enough to get a jump start in the new technologies.
Watch some of the WWDC videos (which you can get by going to http://developer.apple.com/wwdc and clicking on the "WWDC Videos" at the bottom of the screen). As far as I know, these are free for registered developers.
The "Intro" talks are probably the most illuminating, for developers just getting started in the process of figuring out what to do with iOS 5.

Calling methods between view controllers using Storyboard
I have several iOS5 tutorials on my site and I have had extremely positive reactions to my Storyboard tutorial, it is slightly more in-depth that this previously mentioned. I also have a practical example with a Lamp backend that shows you how to communicate with an iOS device.
Would love to hear your thoughts on them.

Can't find iOS FaceTime protocol documentation

As per the title. I searched all through the Apple website, and cannot find anything about it. I am not an iPhone developer member (yet) so don't have access to that stuff. I just want to develop an Android application that can talk with the FaceTime protocol.
It would be a bit silly if we all had to pay Apple just to view the FaceTime documentation to implement the protocol in our non-iOS applications.
The docs for facetime are not yet available. You're not missing anything.
Apple has been unable to release it as an open standard because of the patent battle it lost.

Additionally, Apple has said it will be submitting Facetime as an open standard - so there should be more documentation on how all these standards glue together in Facetime. . anyone know when this will come out?

You don't have to pay to test on devices as of 2015. Payment is required to deploy on the app store, get beta access and sundry other stuff as per Apple's page

I'm looking for sample code or tutorials on how to implement iAds in my iPhone application. Can anyone guide me to any resources about this?
The iAd Programming Guide has detailed information on implementation.
In Interface Builder just drag and drop your ad into the window. In Xcode, right click on your frameworks folder and add the iAd.framework. It's really that simple.
For more advanced things, like hiding and rotating ads, you could start with the WWDC session videos if you're a registered developer. If you're not, get an account because it's a very nice program and you need it to get your apps published.
The session 112 video is a step-by-step, I used it to get my own iAds running, but otherwise try this link iAds. You still need a developer account.

Iphone Developer Program

Well im on the edge about paying $99 dollars to join the Iphone Developer Program, I have the sdk, but im wondering if the program comes with programming lessons or tutorials,
If it doesnt do any of you know where i can learn to make game with opengl es for the iphone/ipod touch??
So my main question is where can i get some good tutorials on programming games/apps for the iphone and ipod touch, and does the Iphone Developer Program come with good lessons on how to program?

Paying the $99 does not give you any additional content or lessons. You already have access to the Apple-supplied sample code. The SDK only provides the ability to test your application on actual hardware, and it allows you to submit applications to the App Store.
The best place to go for beginning tutorials is the Stanford CS193P course which is available online through iTunesU. I would download all this content soon, as it is not guaranteed to be available when the next term starts.
Other than that, I would Google the exact terms that you had in your question: "Open GL ES" "iPhone" "cocoa touch tutorial" There's a ton of content available.

There are so many developer tutorials on the net, I think that stanford even released the lessons as videos for free in itunes.
Of course, it depends why you are getting into it. Apple just released facts that there are 100,000 developers, with >60,000 apps in the store. If you are doing it for fun, or to learn something new, then great. If you want to get rich creating fart apps, your time has passed.
