The app status is Ready for Sale and there is a working direct link to it in iTunes. However the search either with keywords or by the app name from the iTunes top left corner does not bring any result. It is listed in website when I manually browse to category.
The search however bring result on iPhone device App Store app. Just curious why my app is not found through the website search.
It may take a while until the app shows up in the search. How long ago did you receive the "Ready for Sale" notification?
Mostly the app is visible in the iTunes App Store (on the PC, NOT on the iPhone) before on the iPhone. If it takes longer than 24 hours, I would consider contacting Apple but before you have an answer from them your app will probably be Live so... Just be patient, it can take some hours... But again, check iTunes on your Mac/PC if you can find your app there, in my case it was always like that, first iTunes then App Store..
Good luck with your app!

I've got an app in App Store for a while.
Recently I've noticed that by default iPad preview images are displayed when I visit App Store with browser.
I would like to make the default to be the iPhone look, because first of all my app is an "iPhone app".
Is there a configuration in Xcode project or App Store Connect were I can set/force iPhone to be the default ?
Web link of App Store Connect.

The screenshot of the problem
P.S. I've been rubbing my butt against this issue already half a day, cannot find any solution.
Has anybody communicated on this with App Store customer support ?
After lengthy discussions with App Store Connect support, finally the problem is resolved
The “Designed for …” badge appears automatically
for iPhone and iPad apps that are made available for Apple silicon Macs.
With that option iPad screenshots will be displayed automatically when navigating to products URL with web-browser.
If you have selected “App Silicon Mac Availability” in the Pricing and Availability section of App Store Connect.
Uncheck it and check the product page URL after 24 hours have passed.
A few days ago my iPhone game has been approved for sale. When searching its name in the search bar of the App Store, it showed my App. Now when I try to search my game, it doesn't show any result. The direct link still works, however.
Any suggestion?
Check which country's App Store you are viewing currently. Probably it's not the same as the country your app is live now.
The issue fixed by itself with time. I don't know why, but my application is appeared back in the search results of the App Store.
I suspect it was because of an internal trouble that Apple was having with the App Store servers at that time, maybe it erroneously removed my app record from the search database, and now they managed to restore it.
This question is similar to someone elses. But my phone says untrusted app developer. I click cancel, and by the way I am using ios10, and I go to settings to where there should be trust. but there isn't. it is replaced by verify apps. I click verify apps, and the apps still come up unverified. one app I used was tutuapp.vip, what should I do so I can get back on my apps?
May sound like a child but I am 14, and play games and I'm taking an early start of creating one for a future job of mine.
Apple has this thing where if you download a game or an app from an untrusted developer, they have the option to resign the app. This means that apple is forcing you to not to open the application. Apple usually only resigns apps that are illegal (e.g. Getting paid apps for free, emulators, etc.)This means that you cannot get your data back, and you are forced to either start over, or to legally download the apps on apples app store.
Sorry, there is no way to get your apps back.
So, my app is approved and now I'd like to check what does listing look like in App Store. Is there way to do it without iPhone?
You can go to iTunes (Both Mac and Windows PC has supported) application and find your app.
There you can check how your app looks like in iPhone.
One more possibility: "https://itunes.apple.com/app/id[Your_APP_ID]"
Ex: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id424562537
First of all, it can take up to 48 hrs for your app to appear in all stores world-wide.
In iTunes Connect, you will find the direct link to your app. Depending on the browser (Safari vs. Chrome/Firefox/IE), first the iTunes Web Preview should show your app's store listing. From there you can view it directly in iTunes (if it's installed on your machine.)
To check if your app is available in all territories, go to "Pricing and Availability" and check for the right settings there. (Available in all territories)
Not specifically a programming question, but might be something a bunch of programmers run into.
I wrote a really trivial application for the iPhone and submitted it for approvals. After a few back and forth (e.g. denied, then resubmit) of fixing various UI guidelines issues, I got an email today stating that:
Your application is now Ready for
Sale. If your contracts are not in
effect at this time, your application
will not be live on the App Store. You
may track the progress of your
contracts in the Contracts, Tax, and
Banking Module in iTunes Connect.
Now the application is free, so I am not sure why they are sending an email saying that the application is ready for sale. The contacts are in place as well:

But the real problem is that I click on the link they provided...it opens iTunes, then says:

I went into iTunes Connect to Manage Your Applications link. The status is green, Ready for Sale. I checked all the countries where the application is supposed to be available -- and all countries are checked. Plus, I cannot find it in the iTunes Application Store either.
What am I missing? Is there an interval between when the app is approved and when it should appear in the iTunes store?
Yes there is an interval while it is released. Wait about 6 hours and try again.
Once your application has been approved it does indeed take up to a few hours before it has propagated and shows up. The same applies when you pull your application from the App Store or changing your application description or screenshots.
Basicly everything you do in iTunes Connect regarding your app, takes some time to propagate through the servers. I don't think I ever had to wait longer than 6 hours though, more like 3 hours on average.
