I have an app that I built in html and javascript that i would like to test on an iphone. I have a apple developers license. How can I get it from my windows computer to an iphone?
In fact there is a way. Please take a look at this step-by-step guide for that process. And also you can take a look at this question on programmers.stackexchange.com
You need to buy a Mac... no other way around this :(
To build anything development wise for iPhone or iOS in general, must have a Mac.
However, if it is something you need to test that is html and js like you mentioned. Have a look at this plug in for google chrome.
I used this before to develop for multi platform web app. It also simulates accelerometer and gps too.
google plug in Ripple Emulator
I have a nice little app using jCrop and now its broken on the iPad and iPhone. Has anyone any experience getting jCrop working on a touch device and if so any help/samples would be appreciated.
please check out the new version of Jcrop, it has experimental touch support. Works for me on the iPad/Android/etc.
So in previous questions about iPhone development on Windows, the basic/easy answer has been "just get a mac." However, I noticed a comment that mentioned DragonFireSDK. But no one else said anything about it?
Has anyone tried this? It look pretty legit to me, but I'm new to the iPhone world. I just find it weird that no one has discussed this yet. I mean, it looks like the perfect tools for the Windows users.
Thanks!
Oh yeah....here's the link to DragonFireSDK: DragonFireSDK
EDIT: This app is for my website, We, the Pixels. Any comments on if Dragonfire would be a good fit for an iPhone version of my website? Thanks!
DragonFireSDK is good, I have been developing several apps with it, the first of which is now available, a game called Firefox Fun: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/firefox-fun/id393933733?mt=8
Yes, I use DFSDK and got my apps published to apples appstore using the sdk. they have good API it lets you use c/c++ to create your app.
Does anybody have a WORKING copy of NyArToolikit augmented reality port to iPhone? I've read the article http://www.morethantechnical.com/2009/07/01/augmented-reality-on-the-iphone-using-nyartoolkit-w-code/comment-page-2/#comment-380.
Tough I've been unable to figure out the missing parts to make it work. For instance what should be "3DGraphicsView.h" and "3DGraphicsView.m". There's no such file on the code and it seems not to be mentioned on the article text.
Thank you!
Moving ahead to iOS4 SDK options. NyArToolkit for iPhone (this specific implementation) won't work on OS3+.
Did you check https://github.com/omeryavuz/VRToolKit for augmented reality iphone working demo?

I am building a website that runs on IPhone. I am facing a issue where in the application works on browsers and emulator. But its not working on real IPhone device.(Basically my login submit is not happening on IPhone!)
Also the console doesnt shown me any error on IPhone. Have anybody faced such an issue. What could be the issue any idea.......solution is appreciated!
Thanks,
Justin Samuel.
I found the cause of the issue.Basically my config has a setting which gives my site url. eg: currently it was something like http://xyz.com.
Now this worked on normal browsers and emulators. But when it comes to IPHone i had to change the config variable with something like http://www.xyz.com.
Browser was smart enuf to find out what the handle this but not IPhone browser.
Thanks Mahboudz and Mike for you valuble time. Yes I should have added more details while giving the question. Sorry for that!!
Thanks All.
