Hey friends How To scroll on iphone.. background-attacment:fixed ? The background picture moving.. but I want stabilize when its scrolling..
I hope you understand me?
Use your view background as an image or add a UIImageView to your view as a subview.
Add a UIScrollView on top of the image view. Whatever elements of the view you want scrollable, should be added as subview to the UIScrollView then.

I am developing an app. In which we are placing UIScrollView and buttons & images on UIScrollView.Images are at the bottom of the UIScrollView and Buttons are at top of the UIScrollView.
Problem is that I want to scroll only images not buttons. Is it possible to scroll only some part in UIScrollView. If possible how can we achieve it.
Any one can help or suggest with links.
Instead of putting the buttons on the UIScrollView, make the UIScrollView smaller and add the buttons to the same parent view as the UIScrollView.
You can take another scrollview and add images on it. So that if you scroll the images your buttons will not move.
Create 2 scrollviews, one for button & one for images. Then set scrolling disabled for the one with buttons.
How to slide button vertically in iphone by programmatically ?
Hey i have 7 images. and i want to display only 3 images vertically. and other images will be display when user scroll it upward.
Take a look at UIScrollView class :-) and then at UIImageView
If I understand what you want to do...
But we won't code you the thing ;-)
Good Luck.
add scrollview and setPagingEnabled =yes;

two way
1.add all images in view as subview and set the frame of them by one by one
2.in one view while scroll up add next image in view and remove old image.
right.Got it?

i'm trying to place a UIView on a scrollView during its zoomed state. I want the UIView to be seen on the scrollView and also to resize along with it once the scrollView is zoomed out.. i am able to place the UIView on scrollView during the zoomed state. But the UIView is not getting resized after zooming out... Should i apply any transforms here??? can anyone help me in this please... Thank you
You can use a little trick: before zoom is started get the screenshot of the view (with subviews) that you want to zoom. Add that image to the UIImageView add return it via viewForZoomingInScrollView:. So you actually zoom the image of that view and not the one itself.
After zoom ended scale your actual view manually.
You can find out how to get screen shot from my post here
I have created a image gallery. I show all images from plist file in navigation view. When i open image in full view after that i have to back in navigation. But i want to move images in scrolling when image in fullview. After open image in full view i want to swap one by one next as well as previous...
Is there possible..??
Plz give me help about any kind..
Regards....
Yes thats possible, make your fullview a scrollview with its contentsize having the same width as your screen and its height being the combined height of its subviews (put at least two or 3 imageviews in the scrollview as subviews). You can add and remove UIImageviews as subviews of the uiscrollview as the user vertically pages through them. You will need to communicate with the navigation view what the table status is when your user returns to that view though so that everything matches up.
What I am trying to do is to present an image at the top of the view and beneath it to show the details of it.
By now I am using a UITableView and a UIImageView. The UIImageView is at the top of the View and the UITableView beneath the UIImageView. In the UIImageView I load an image and I want to let the user to pan/zoom it. In the UITableView I show in sections the details of the image. Everything works ok, but when I enable zooming in the UIImageView the image covers parts of the tableView. Moreover, I cannot scroll anymore.
What is the correct combiantion of views for achieving the above requirements?
Instead of the UIImageView I'd use a UIScrollView with the UIImageView embedded in it, this will allow you to setup pan/zoom within whatever view size you want.
