I have two views in my app and I want to switch them foreground or background with animation. I like the way iOS does it when I fast-switch between applications (double tap the home button and tap any app).
Is it possible to use that animation directly? (It's OK if it's private, I am not selling my app, just for study purpose.)
If not, is there a way to implement that animation myself? References or examples are very much appreciated!
Thanks in advance.
Leo
Yes. It's possible and it's not private. Here you go https://github.com/Split82/HMGLTransitions

I'm creating an app which would provide the user with a list of audio files and let them sample a small piece of audio when they select the song (just like the iTunes iOS app).
I love the way the iTunes iOS App has implemented it (image attached); wherein I can click on a cell and the album cover flips over to show a progress indicator and a stop button. I can select a cell and the sample starts to play, and the moment I stop it, the progress indicator flips back over to show the album/song art.
I'd like to create something like that for my app. Any suggestions on how I can go ahead with it.
Thanks a ton in advance! :D
EDIT: Based on Till's suggestion, I'm adding this edit. What I wish to get by asking this question is suggestions for the best approach to make the flip animation, showing a custom view in a UITableViewCell image space, possible. Currently, I'm not worried about playing the audio or displaying the progress of the playback. I simply need suggestions on the best approach to perform the flip animation and substitute the image with a custom UIView. :) Thanks again! :D
You will need to create it. I suggest making it as a custom tablecell. If you polish it well enought, you can put it on CodeCanyon and make it worth your while.
Also, I can recommend looking at the works on http://cocoacontrols.com/ - It might not have exactly this one, but it has many interesting controls and inspirations.
This is exactly what u looking for:

I'm trying to let the users of my app cancel an active alarm using a slider, like the timer app or the iPhone lock screen.
Is this control available to us as developers? If so, what's the name of it, and do I need to add it programmatically? I do not see it in the interface builder.
Thank you!
You could always try this on cocoacontrols.
Slide to unlock control
There you go,

It's not a standard control - you'll need to create it yourself.
However, I think you should be able to customize the slider control. You can change the look and feel of that by supplying your own graphics, and it should be easy to simulate the behavior of the lock slider (such as making it slide back to 0 if it doesn't get all the way across).
I need to customize the iphone keyboard. How can I do it? Also it is needed to place the return key of the keyboard with my project logo. How is it possible?
You cannot customize the apple iOS's default keyboard.
As such you can create a custom control similar to apple iOS's keyboard and make it look and customize as you want but then there ar more chances than not that your app may be rejected when you try to submit your app on the Apple's app store.
So it is not preferable to create custom keyboard.
Hope this helps you.
What have we done in one of our apps and you can do is create custom uibutton that is same size as return key, then register for UIKeyboardWillShowNotification and UIKeyboardWillHideNotification.
when one of those fire you should add/remove that uibutton to window with animation that tracks keyboard showing/hiding animation...
Ugly way to do it, but it served its purpose...
Some of the tutorials are incomplete or are much older. This tutorial works from IOS 4.3 onwards and I checked it. Save the two image graphics, and paste in the code. There is very little to change. Here is the link.
ps. I am not affiliated in any way with this article, but found it to be complete.

Anyone knows how they did this UI keyboard:

Thanks,

The only way to tell if it is a custom UIView is to see if it lacks the features of the normal keyboard. I simply cannot believe anyone completely duplicated the keyboard feature for feature just to change the tint of it.
If it is not a custom UIView, then that leaves only one other option: private API calls. Is this app on the App Store? Private APIs are a no-no of course so I doubt this is the standard keyboard and available on the App Store.
UPDATE:
Of course, now we have Extensions with iOS 8 and you can create your own custom keyboards. It doesn't help make creating a keyboard any easier.
Yes, seems to be a custom UIView with Custom UIButtons.
I'm looking for a simple way to provide a tutorial for my app.
I want the tutorial to show something on screen and be moved to the next screen as they move through the tutorial.
Any ideas?
Use an NSTimer in your AppDelegate to automatically present views over a period of time, in sync with a voiceover
