Twitter / Facebook integration - facebook

I am on a mid way of porting an iPhone application to Windows Phone 7. In that iPhone application it is providing provision for submitting score details through Facebook / Twitter mail etc. So I need to implement the same functionality in WP7, too. How can I implement this functionality in my Windows Phone project?
While searching I found some methods with the help of web browser. But that is not useful in my case. In my app I need to log in through the the designed page and need to update the score status to the social networks through my own view.
Please help me to achieve the functionality in my app. (If anybody has sample apps or links please attach that information, too.)

You can use the ShareStatusTask to post to facebook, twitter msn etc.
ShareStatusTask shareStatusTask = new ShareStatusTask();
shareStatusTask.Status = "My Score: xxxx";
shareStatusTask.Show();

I don't know if it's exactly what you're looking for, but ScoreLoop provides a free high score system as well as social network integration for Windows Phone games. I'm currently migrating my homegrown scores systems to ScoreLoop, looks good so far.

Is it possible to gather other apps data in swift?

I'm building an web application with react-native.
In this app I need to gather some information about users.
One of them is how much time they spend on other apps installed on their phone.
I couldn't find any library for this job, so I've decided to write the native code my self.
For android, apparently there is this UsageStatsManager that can help me achieve what I want.
But when I searched for sth similar in ios, I found lots of old forums saying that this is not possible.
But I recently I saw this:
It is asking for permission to gather other apps data. SO IT IS POSSIBLE?
Any suggestion is appreciated. How am I supposed to this?
There is no API by apple itself for retrieving data of third party applications. This is called "Sandboxing" where applications are restricted from changing the device settings or retrieving/changing other apps data. Hence, why iphones are secure.
What you have shown in your screenshots is to track application data for personalised ads and such. This can be achieved using the AppTrackingTransparency framework provided by apple. You can read more about the framework here.
TL;DR - You can use AppTrackingTransparency for personalisation

How To Promote Google TV Only Application

I would like to know after I built an application for Google TV, how can I get the app listed under http://www.google.com/tv/apps.html, or does Google do anything to help promoting Google TV Only Apps? Since it takes a separate effort to design TV friendly UI and Navigation system, what can we do to make it more visible to Google TV users? Right now the Play Store is very messy and unorganized in a way or it might only because the country I am located.
You should contact the Google TV developer advocates. In particular, Les Vogel, or Krispy. In the past they have looked at apps and provided feedback. They have also helped to get interesting apps into the featured section of the Play Store on Google TV.
You might also consider joining the Sony Developer Network, which allows you to upload your app and have them test it on their Google TV devices. They provide a test report which will help to make your app better for the TV experience. If they like your app, they can also add it to their own featured app section of the Play Store on their Google TV devices.
There is a Google TV community on G+ where you can post about your app to get some feedback from users. Do a Google search and you will also find other forums that deal with Google TV and will help to get the word out about your app.
The best marketing tool is to have a web site for you app and provide a blog to tell users about updates and plans you have for the app. You should also create a YouTube video to show your app in action. Create pages on the various social networks so that users can follow your progress.
Nothing, featured apps are either apps for GTV that are very successful or apps that Google has picked. Currently there is no way of doing anything against that. But I guess Google will work on that if they will continue GTV.

AppStore and alternatives for the following app

I got an offer to develop a simple iPhone app that would call a web service with user's credentials. An user would get the list of files that can be downloaded (.pdfs) and could then download the wanted file. Simple enough...
Now, I've had bad experience with publishing on AppStore. Basically, they refused one app because according to them our RSS reader for a online newspaper wasn't in accordance with their guidelines. They said that the application was a simple web aggregator which I won't argue now. Not now :)
So, back to the new app problem :)
I would like to know what are the options for distributing the new app. The client has a web page and wants to give it's visitor this app to get that data from their phones too.
Technically, the app doesn't have to be a native app. It can be a phoneGap solution too since it's quite simple regarding the functionality. Sincerely, I am afraid that there is no way that Apple will allow this app to be uploaded to their store being native, phoneGap...
P.S.
I would also like to know is there a way to distribute an "internal" (not publicly available) iPhone app? For example, a company needs an internal tool for their 500 employees, but can't afford to go through the process of conecting each device and compiling the app for each device individually...
If you want to sell customized apps to companies, you should consider the B2B program.
if you are in an enterprise that wants to deploy apps inside your company, the Enterprise Developer Program is a good choice.
For internal:
100 test devices.
alot of iphones with the distribution profile after the 100 devices
with the enterprise:

Can Dreamweaver CS5.5 really turn my web page into an iPhone app?

I have a fairly simple website where users can fill out a form describing a flowering plant. They click on buttons and checkboxes to describe the leaves and flowers, and then the site returns a list of the possible plant families they are seeing. The site is built with jQuery and all of the data are in a javascript as a series of comma-separated numbers.
The problem, of course, is that the plant ID tool is on the web and it would be much more useful if it could be a stand-alone tool on a smartphone so it would work in a remote jungle somewhere.
I've been scared off of developing an app up til now because I've heard that it costs tens of thousands of dollars. But I keep reading that the new version of Dreamweaver can do the job for me. Can someone clue me in on this? Can I really build an iPhone app in Dreamweaver CS5.5 without knowing Objective C?
Yes. According to this link you can package a native iOS app with CS5.5:
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/dreamweaver/cs/using/WSeffff8bffc80208478c8d43312e240fe0ad-8000.html
NOTE: You'll still need to register as an Apple iOS developer to upload apps to the app store.
You can also look into non-Objective-C tools like Corona SDK.
http://www.anscamobile.com/
To register as an iPhone developer you do not need tens of thousands of dollars, more like 100 dollars. Writing iPhone apps is not simple, and for someone to write an app for you might cost as much. BUT, since you have your website up-and running, i would recommend adjusting the website to smartphone screen sizes, and creating an iPhone app that is basically just a wrapper to a web-browser which will show your site pages. Basically that's what CS5.5 does for you as stated. Similar platforms are Corona (as stated), phoneGap, or titanium - all of which allow creating/using web pages that show inside a native app. The app is just a shell for the webpages. Please note that titanium and phoneGap claim to be able to publish from a single project BOTH iPhone AND android native apps.

bebo integration into iphone application

Hi. I am developing one application for iPhone. In which I have integrated twitter, facebook, Myspace. Using my app I can update status and image. In the same way I want to integrate Bebo social networking site.
I find Bebo's developer site http://developer.bebo.com/ here. But I did not found any API related to Objective C or iPhone related stuff. How can I do this integration?
It doesn't look like there's an existing API for bebo access on iPhone.
You'll have to think about rolling your own. The site you posted a link to seems to have useful info. Or there's some (hard on the eye) info here:
