Does Umbraco CMS has got option to change language? - content-management-system

I would like to use Umbraco CMS. But I need to know is there availible changing admin User Interface language to Polish? So that the whole admin stuff and everything would be in Polish language.
I don't need Multi-Language functionality.
I know that there are availible other language packs (like German), so is there also Polish language pack?

Yes, Polish is available out of the box in the umbraco backoffice. I don't know what the quality of the translation is though, so you'll have to have a look at that yourself.

Convert Zend framework website language?

Hello I am a newbie to Zend Framework. I want to convert a website constructed in English language using Zend Framework to Ukrainian language.
Can anyone help me out what to do?
Thanks in advance.
Make sure you website supports internationalization, so all UI strings can be localized via translate() helper and Zend_Translate.
If your website already has more than one language - in most cases you should not care about this step.
Extract all UI strings into translation resource file (Gettext .po, TMX, xliff, etc..)
Hire translator to perform actual translation for you, or do that on your own.
Deploy new resource to website and make sure the locale is getting recognized for your language (or do the manual language switch link)
Your question is very general and I'm not sure on which step you need an assistance. Generally localization into Ukrainian language should not have any special cases. Follow any of numerous HOWTOs on ZF website localization for any other languages you can find on the Internet.

I have to redesign a website in joomla from HTML.Basically the HTML site is in 2 lanugage English and French

I have to redesign a website in joomla from HTML.Basically the HTML site is in 2 lanugage English and French. Now the problem is that there is different menus and block in both the language sites. If the menus and rest of design is same then i can easily do using Joomfish..please tell me how i can mange this.
The answer to your question really comes down to a choice between two options:
(1) Having a multi-lingual site. This type of site is manually coded to contain duplicate menu items and articles, each written "by hand" in the native language. If your site is one where the language contains nuances that would be missed by auto-translation software like JoomFish, then you better go this route. There is more planning involved for such a site.
(2) Having a single language site that can be translated to another language using a translator like JoomFish (or a dozen others). If the language in your project is not specifically nuanced, you might consider this route, as it will be FAR easier to build. Translation software like JoomFish does a pretty good job. I even use the translation built into CometChat for some of my clients, and they're pretty happy with the results. The translations aren't 100% perfect, but most web viewers understand this nowadays.

Help regarding JoomFish

I am new to joomla and wanted to use JoomFish for multi-lingual support. Can anyone please let me know details of how can we use JoomFish to translate the site content. Also how can we translate the content of customly developed components / modules. Also how can we translate the static content in the components/modules i.e. the label which are used statically?
Can any one provide any reference which has a good understanding of doing the above mentioned things.
Regards,
Atul
Joomfish does not do any translation, all of it has to be entered by the admin. It takes a bit of configuration - language packs have to be installed, extension content elements need to be translated, etc. Your best bet is to install it on your site and go through the tutorials.

There is no shortcut that could easily be entered as an answer here.

What is the most difficult part in converting a static website to a dynamic website?

Consider I am having a website with 5 to 10 static information pages and there is no database. How difficult will it be to convert it to a dynamic website with userlogin and interaction, typically a cms? Do you have an easiest method to do the same?
The easiest way is to use some open source software and stick with the out-of-the-box functionality, possibly using a readily available (free) template.
Look into Joomla, Wordpress (Blog software, but works, too), Drupal (a little more complicated), SilverStripe, ....
Totally depends on what type of dynamic pages you want to create. If it's just plain cms like functionality it won't be a hell lot of work. Just convert the text into fields in a database.
You could think of just going for an cms and copy / paste your content into it and style the pages using css. It might be easier then building a cms that you can just get anywhere on the internet nowadays.
Joomla - CMSmadesimple etc. can be nice to look #
