I still experience exactly the bug described here: SoundCloud's connect with Facebook not working in iOS.
My app is built in Adobe AIR. The app's name is CloudDeck (clouddeck.net).
The temporary solution is that may help you narrow down the issue: If the user logs in to Facebook to share a link with the [f] icon on the top (so not using SoundCloud's Facebook connect), then SoundCloud's Facebook connect will work. I use for that functionality the "https://www.facebook.com/dialog/oauth" URL.
The screenshot above is where SoundCloud Facebook connect redirects

I'm basically trying to put all the functionality of this website: http://greenthumbweather.com/
into Facebook via the "website" platform.
I've started the app process in facebook and I entered the URL as website platform (attached image).
However, when I go to preview the "app", I just get a link to my website in the top right (attached image).
Do I have to recreate the entire functionality of the website within Facebook? Or can I just port the functionality into a Facebook app? I really would like users to be able to visit the website within Facebook, where it would grab their location information and customize my website based on their latitude/longitude.
Thanks for any help!
You can just port your website to facebook app but i think that depend on your desired output. Your website can also be ported to a canvas app.
I've got an issue with an app of mine available on the AppStore. In my app you can share contents using the graph API given by the iOS Facebook API. Everything works perfectly except for the link on the top right angle of the attached image
If you click on it guides you through an empty facebook page. I thought it was an automatic link to the itunes application page, but it is something for SSO. Is there a way to point it to another link? I've tried almost everything in the facebook app settings without result.
Earlier today I noticed a friend shared a Viddy video which made me curious. When I clicked on the share link I immediately got an authorization request dialog with custom text on the "next/login" button (Watch the movie). The URL for this share which triggered the behavior was this:
http://www.facebook.com/
connect/
uiserver.php?
app_id=125119214225766
method=permissions.request
redirect_uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.viddy.com%2Fvideo%2F2f44f934-bc2f-419f-b462-c46f261744ee
response_type=code
display=async
perms=email%2Cpublish_actions
auth_referral=1
fb_private_mode_enc=ASJbi0_rc8L9GhOWGzXF1eZQgqGW6WhIquDadvKiRi8uZRozkFn937vhtfsR_Krg8iM
I've looked around trying to find this feature documented. How am I suppose to generate such share URLs? I found some documentation on fbdevwiki.com, but that does not cover most of the arguments. If anyone could guide me to some documents I'd be very grateful.
That's an app using Authenticated Referrals so that users are prompted to grant permission directly on Facebook's chrome instead of landing on your app unauthenticated, and then bounced to an auth dialog and back to the app again.
The 'watch video' text in the auth dialog is because this app is publishing 'watch' actions in the Open Graph API
{edit} it appears the 'watch video' link is only shown for preselected partners and isn't available for all video apps
{/edit}
The generated url you see is generated by the app, you can achieve this by creating your own app and giving it the permission.
You can start by going to Facebook Developer
Does anyone of you know if it is possible to open a App which uses sharekit from a Facebook request by clicking on the request either in the facebook app, or in the browser?
I could not find anything about this in the web.
To be more precise i want my app which uses sharekit to send a request to a facebook-friend. This facebook friend should then be able to open the same app by clicking on the request either in the facebook app on his mobile device or by clicking on the request on the facebook browser page which is opened on his mobile device.
I already know how to share things in facebook via sharekit, but to get it "the other way round" seems to be difficult. I could not find anything helpful in the web so far.
Greets and many thanks in advance,

Yes. Your will will need to register itself as a protocol handler, and the link clicked on from Facebook app would need to use the url scheme you define.
Example:
my-social-app://invite/1234
Keep in mind if the recipient does not have the app installed, or they do this on their desktop machine, they will get a message that the phone is unable to open that URL.
See this tutorial: http://mobileorchard.com/apple-approved-iphone-inter-process-communication/
We've got a few pages that use the apple-mobile-web-app-capable meta tag (value="yes"), but on a login page that allows Facebook Connect, you get a blank page when you click on the connect button. I've seen this posted on the old FB developer forums, but with no relevant responses. Has anyone figured this out already?
This could be a bug in facebooks API. I don't think they've tested their API in iPhone web app mode. Issue can be followed here: https://developers.facebook.com/bugs/317323871621290
The issue have been raised here on Stack Overflow a couple of times too:
How do I get back to the iPhone web app after having logged in with Facebook Connect?
blank white screen after FB login via web app?
