We make our Facebook application. Everything was all normal. After I rename one file, all the links do not work anymore. This was not a problem earlier in our application. I have no idea why this is happening.
Any thoughts? If more info is needed, please let me know.
This is my application

missing an image (link) on images/banner-fb.jpg, and the css files also.
To fix this move the css and images directories in the application root directory sensitifstory.

Am just beginning with joomla on a site that is already existing and was previously managed by someone else who is not available at the moment. I am trying to troubleshoot a problem why the website is displaying the header differently in different PCs but I am not being able to find the image of that header file. I tried to look for it under "site > media" but cannot find the image among the images in that area. I also tried to look for the path to the image through the template css and found this path ../images/logo.png which I believe must be the path to the header image but I honestly don't really know which path ../images/logo.png is but assuming it is the one under "media" then I still cannot find the image. Could you give me a clue on where the header image files could be found cause I've actually still failed? Or, could you make me understand this path ../images/logo.png or how to find an image on a joomla admin interface like say "logo.png". In fact I discover that on looking at the CSS for the template, the image paths found in it are not found in "Media"? Is there another path for the images in the template and how do I access them? I cannot FTP my host at the moment to view the physical files due to the long procedure needed so am hoping that there is a way to find it. I only have joomla admin access and nothing like Cpanel as yet. The joomla version of the site is 1.5.22 which I know is an old one but I plan to do first things first. Hope I've given enough infor.
Try using FireBug, or Chrome debugger - (press F12) and check "Click an element in the page to inspect" to see where the specific image is located exactly.
I'm developing app using MonoTouch. In debug|simulator everything looks fine, But when i use debug|iphone images are not displaying.
But when i create test app using (Tabbed Application) template, image are displaying fine.
I have set the build action to "Content" for all images. Am i missing something else?
As far as I know, MacOS uses a non-case-sensitive Filesystem and iOS an case-sensitive one. So be sure to have no typos in your filename-references etc
//Just added this as an answer, so you can "accept" it :)
Its probably a permissions issue on the files, right click one of the files in
Finder > Get Info, then under Sharing and Permissions make sure everyone has Read Only. I'm betting its currently set to "No Access".
I've seen this a lot when importing files from a Network location.

I can't get offline mode in iphone mobile Safari to work.
I have included my cache manifest file in the root of my directory.
<html lang="se" manifest="cache.manifest">
My cache.manifest looks like
CACHE MANIFEST
CACHE:
/images/background-iphonelines.png
/images/acne.jpg
/images/lisa.jpg
/images/bruno.jpg
/images/urban.jpg
/shops/acne.html
/shops/lisa.html
/shops/bruno.html
/shops/urban.html
/shops/shops.css
/style.css
script.js
guide.html

I also included a .htaccess file in my root directory with the content
AddType text/cache-manifest .manifest
When I'm trying to open my app on my Iphone it still says "Can't open page" (or similar, have my page in swedish).
Does someone have any suggestions what I'm doing wrong?
Your mark-up and cache file look fine, but if the site won't go off-line there's a problem with the cache. It only has to fail on one element, and the whole thing won't work. Have you tried debugging your cache file? This post will help:
Jonathan Stark, Debugging HTML 5 Offline Application Cache
Note this won't tell you which asset causes the failure (if any), but it will tell you if your cache is working or not.
I actually had a similar issue yesterday. Try removing the CACHE: and just listing the items for the cache. I found this by accident and it seems to now work on IOS for me. Also, I added a comment field at the top to make sure I can invalidate the cache. I would give that a try.
I also had the same problem. I included the lines below in the cache.manifest file & it fixed for me.

I was struggling for 2 hours with this and finally I've managed it! HORAY! I've added "/" to cache, this was the problem...
I have complete code of facebook connection. But When i dragged the complete code into my application then 112 errors will occurs. wherever i have use use that code "FBConnect/FBConnectGlobal.h"Then error will arises "FBConnect/FBConnectionGlobal.h" No such file or directory. Even i have given all the path in project setting/project active setting.
So please tell me some solution how to rectify some solution. and also tell me exact place where i have set the path and what to give in that path
Thanks
I think Ayaz is right, you checked of the "copy items.." box. However, try and start over, deleting the FBConnect folder and do it without copying it. If you start changing the headers you will probably have to do it for all the classes and if there is an update to the FBConnect library you need to start all over again.
I am trying to move my Joomla1 website from localhost to my bluehost.com domain. For testing I have created a subdirectory on my domain for testing and moved all my Joomla! files to this. I have created this subdirectory under the public_html folder.
I am using different menus on the front page (custom page) and remaining pages. My problem is that the menu items on the front page are looking for pages in a subdirectory named joomla instead of looking for pages in my subdirectory (testing)
Based on suggestions from some websites I thought changing mosConfig_absolute_path will help but my configuration.php file in the testing subdirectory doesn't have a property called mosConfig_absolute_path. I do not face this problem on any of the menu items on the other pages.
Can someone please help me with this problem and how I should overcome it. Thanks.
The variable you're talking about is $mosConfig_absolute_path rather than $msConfig_absolute_path. You will also need to reset $mosConfig_live_site.
Also, migrating to Joomla! 1.5 would avoid this issue entirely; it automatically detects your base path and URL.
