I have a UIView witha UILabel on it. How can I use renderInContext and other graphical operations to make the UIView appear curved, as in the example below?

The following Core Text tutorial has exactly the same example that you need.

Use imageWithRenderingMode to get an .AlwaysOriginal rendering of the image and use that.

Drawing overlay view on top of a web view

I am trying to write an app that shows a PDF and allows a user to scribble all over it with their finger and then save the "annotated" pdf on close, seeing their changes again when they reopen the app.
Currently, I have thrown a UIWebview Up and tried to put a UIView over the top of it as a drawing layer.
Is this the best approach? is there an answer already out there? Any examples?
Thanks.
Yes, putting a transparent UIView on top and painting the users touches in this one is what I would do too.
Maybe this project can help you.

How do I make UILabel display outlined text?

I was wondering if there was a way to add an outline to a piece of text like a UILabel.
How can I make this happen? I've tried text.layer.borderWidth but that only creates a box around the label frame. I want the outline to be around the individual characters in the label.
Thanks for your time.

I have browsed stack for this so common issue, and have found that there is no default function to add blur effect to UIImage, and in order to make it one would have to manipulate individual pixels... I presume there are many advanced users who have tried and accomplished this. Does anyone have code to this, or some really specific pointers how this should be done?
Here's an iOS image filter library which you could possibly use.

an other one could be this: Filtrr for iOS

how to call pin annotation on button click in iphone
Sorry if question is strange. I'm trying to have an image and drop pins on certain parts and name those parts. Anytime I search Image+Iphone+Drp Pins I get MKAnnotationView or at least something that begins with MK. Now I wonder, is MKAnnotationView only for maps or I can use it to display images and drop pins on them as well. If I can, how do I do that. I mean with imageview it's very simple. I can do it with both code and IB. What about MKAnnotationView. Can it be a subview to another view?
I don't know what you want to achieve but Please figure out this Link1 , Link2 , Link3
