Youtube video not embedding into Facebook - Error linting URL - facebook

I'm having trouble embedding my Youtube video into Facebook - when I paste the link onto my personal or page wall it starts loading but nothing comes up, and won't let me post just the hyperlink either.
I've tried using the Facebook Developer Debugger: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug and it says:
"Errors that need to be fixed: An internal error occurred while
linting the URL"
It worked yesterday when I first uploaded the video on Youtube, but stopped working last night. And all of my other videos are embedding properly.
If anyone has any idea how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.
Here's the link to the Youtube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXbxxYdGS1k
Thank you so much in advance!!
David

Here is the solution: unblock YouTube.
Detailed instructions: on the upper right corner of your Facebook page, click on the gear icon and select "Account Settings." Go to the left hand side of the page and click on "Blocking." Scroll down to the section titled "Block Apps" where you will see a list of the apps you have blocked. Find "YouTube" and click on the word "Unblock" next to it.
That's it, you're done. You will now be able to post YouTube links with thumbnails. No need to log out or do anything else.
I had exactly the same problem as reported here. The solution came to me just now when I realized I had swept through my Facebook settings a couple of weeks ago and pretty much locked everything down for privacy and denied apps the ability to do whatever it was a pop-up app approval box asked my permission to do.
As to why we all had the problem begin at roughly the same time, my guess is that, like me, you read a couple of stories about the new Facebook design when it was being rolled out. I recall that most of those stories, or ones related to it, had warnings about Facebook privacy settings and helpful tips on how users could control how much of their personal information is shared. Did those stories prompt you to take a look at your settings and possibly change them? That was what I did.
I hope this solution works for you.

Facebook Not Scraping URL Properly (Blocked URL) On Fresh URL's

I have started to experience a really strange problem with Facebook link scraping/caching which seems random in nature.
On brand new posts when I go to check: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ with my new URL I get a message saying 'Cannot scrape: URL blocked'
We have literally been sharing URL's to Facebook for YEARS with no problem whatsoever. All open graph tags are present and working fine.
What is really weird is if I just manually press the 'scrape again' button it grabs all the bits properly and says everything is fine. It's always just the first attempt.
I have also tried manually calling the scrap API instead of letting Facebook do it when someone shares the URL for the first time and still sometimes (not always) it returns empty (just 'id' and 'url' returned) indicating the URL was blocked.
What's going on here it's driving me mad? We are nowhere near our API limits if maybe that was the issue...
Why would it say blocked first go on the debug page then literally 2 seconds later you press 'scrape again' and it works fine.
Just to note sometimes when it says blocked it still shows maybe the image in the link preview but no title or description. It's like it's grabbed some tags but then given up. Very strange...
I have checked our access logs and I can see 'Facebot' accessing our site fine.
Hope someone can help, I am really hoping this is some weird Facebook bug as I can't see any change in our code base that would effect this.
Facebook does not return anything helpful when this happens even with the API. I have no way in contacting Facebook direct either. If we are somehow getting blocked I would love to know why and fix that issue. But it's impossible to debug at the moment.
Just to note I have 3 sites all running the same code base (WordPress environment). They are all experiencing this issue. All been running fine for many years.
Cheers
This was to do with rate limiting that was not visible in the Facebook APP dashboard. Helpful...

Solution for your problem: You can use Facebook image button after adding link on Facebook news feed, like shown in iamge
second thing upload image on othe site and give the image path to your website and then put it on your news feed, you can get definitely positive result using this two methods.

thanks hope this two will work for your problem

Facebook posted link crawl

Here's a problem: I've got some number of links posted to groups "as is". That posts look like a link, nothing more. Is there a way to make that links crawled to previews, as Facebook automatically does when we share a link or post it with a minor delay? Without re-posting them.
I've had that with slow internet connections or weak devices.
Or you can read this: http://www.robblatt.com/technology/facebook-previews-not-working-heres-a-fix/
Anyhow, if it doesn't show the preview at any try, you should - before trying again - refresh the page, as (mentioned in above link) if it doesn't go the first time, it never will, unless you refresh.
otherwise, did you update the page recently (or was it recently updated)?
Edit: try adding this to the end of the link: ?=1

Facebook image not displayed in share

I'm trying to publish on FB a link of my wife-website.
The Open Graph Debugger says that everything is fine (there is og:image tag and the image is 1200x630).
But the image isnt' displayed in the post, even if I try to scrape again the page!
Please, help me!
Riccardo
This bug was confirmed by FB not so long ago...
see: https://developers.facebook.com/bugs/978421888869140/
I can confirm this issue also occurs on multiple sites I own. It began some time in the past 14 hours. The debugger is returning a valid output (but the post preview at the bottom is lacking the image).
My guess is that it is somehow related to the face that today (30/apr) they've forced all fb apps to migrate to sdk2.0.
I sure hope they're already working on a fix... but go figure :-/

Facebook application links result in "Sorry, this page isn't available"

All of app links that start with "http://apps.facebook.com/AppID#" are giving me 4oh4 error link page which states that the page is not available. To be exact, I've copied & pasted the exact error it gives me below.
Sorry, this page isn't available, The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed.
I have tried using http://apps.facebook.com/namespace here in which this gives me blank white page!
Could this be in correlation of today's facebook mass disabling of app links? I just don't know but I want to know if other people are having same issues as me and know a solution. Or if this is somethign we gotta wait out for facebook to fix? Please help! Thank you.

How Do We remove "this page has in-secure content" from facebook that players see before joining?

Our server is secure, we have followed all rules and are now beta testing our game located at http://apps.facebook.com/cityfederation/ The problem is new players (we have testers all over the world) all see this page that says "this page has in-secure content"
All players see this and it says Facebook recommends that player does not load this game.
We have tested advertising on Facebook and this warning would prevent anyone from joining even though you can clearly see from screenshot that the url is https://apps.cityfederation...
Does anyone know how to correct this as it would be costly to advertise on Facebook at $1 or so per click and then lose 75% of people when they see this. Plus we'd like to be able to grow in Facebook and this isn't helping.
This will not let me post a screenshot due to being new member here in stackoverflow but anyone can see if you try to play the game. Search for City Federation in Facebook.
The console says:
[blocked] The page at https://cityfederation.com/testing/examples/ ran insecure content
from http://script.opentracker.net/?site=cityfederation.com.
This is where your problem comes from.
