woocommerce integration not working - paypal

When I check out the products I wish to purchase from my store it directs me to Paypal's page and I need to log in to my paypal account in order to purchase the items. However, every time I try logging in it says "Please check your email address and password and try again" which is very concerning since it works when I log in through Paypal's website.
It is not set to a test account. And I have tried using various paypal accounts.
Any advice?

WooCommerce is a great feature for Wordpress sites. I personally use the MagicPay gateway (see link if you want to check it out) with my online store, it integrates perfectly to my site and my customers don't have to have Paypal, they can just punch in their credit card numbers...
When I signed up they have a guy there who helped me with the integration.
Hope I helped!

Where do I put the IPN url in the sandbox of Paypal?

I have an asp.net website that is supposed to allow users to make payments with Paypal. I want to test it with the Paypal sandbox.
So I created a developer/business account at "developer.paypal.com'.
Using this account I created a lot of fake email accounts, some personal, some business, for testing. But now, I want to tell the website to enable IPN, and also, to send IPN notifications to a particular URL. I don't see a place on the site to do that. (I assume this would be in the sandbox site, not in the real site).
Any help is appreciated.
Try enabling it on the account level (log into the sandbox account and set it there). There is an IPN simulator as well.

I can't pay with Paypal through WooCommerce

When I check out the products I wish to purchase from my store it directs me to Paypal's page and I need to log in to my paypal account in order to purchase the items. However, every time I try logging in it says "Please check your email address and password and try again" which is very concerning since it works when I log in through Paypal's website. I'm so confused and started searching for answers online and I found out I might have to use IPN or API.. all those stuff and I have no clue what is going on... please help!
Sounds like maybe you've got WooCommerce set to run in test mode but you're using your live PayPal account credentials to try logging in. That won't work.
If you are indeed set to test mode you need to create test accounts to play with at http://developer.paypal.com.
Alternatively, just set WooCommerce to run in live mode and then your live PayPal account credentials would work, although, you'll need to a live PayPal account separate from your seller account because you can't pay yourself.

paypal different pages - visa/debit payment not create account

Hi I have searched for this solution and although others have experienced the same problem I couldn't find a solution that works for my site.
My wordpress site mainly sells registrations/bookings for events and I'm using the s2Memberplugin to process the payments with Paypal. The problem is that when we direct the users/customers to the paypal page to complete the transaction which i want set up with the option of paying via credit/debit card if the user/customer doesn’t have (or doesn’t want to create one) a paypal account. That has been working perfectly except for when users/customers are using a variety of internet browser with various cookie settings so the user/customer get’s directed to a completely different page both in appearance and functionality from the page I want them to see. This incorrect page ‘requires’ users/customers to have or create a paypal account to make the payment, no option to pay via card is available. I tried calling paypal and of course they say it is something wrong with my site.
Over 20 days ago i lodged a support ticket with Paypal MTS (or whatever they are called) and of course no response. I have lodged about 5 more tickets and made about 10 more phone calls and they simply don't care about customers. That is clearly demonstrated when you ask to speak to the complaints section and they say "We don't have a complaints section'
Thanks very much, any assistance is greatly appreciated
I haven't been provided with any error codes, unfortunately - i did ask for them but nobody supplied them.
we just discovered that the payflow and IPN settings within my sites plugin were empty but i'm filling them in now but i have two questions:
The vendor, is that just my username for my paypal account? (why don't they just use the same terminology - confusing)
My s2Member plugin say's i'll need my IPN url (and then supplies a url, but whn i look at the IPN notification url within my paypal settings it's a totally different link. Should i be changing my paypal IPN url to that which is supplied by my s2Member plugin or am i getting two different url's confused?
Thanks for your help again mate.
If you're using Payments Standard this experience is cookie based as you mentioned. If you want to make sure the full credit card form shows up and allows people to pay with a credit card without creating an account you can use the Express Checkout API instead.
In your SetExpressCheckout request you just need to set SOLUTION=Sole and LANDINGPAGE=Billing.

Creating sandbox paypal pro account

i have some difficulties creating test account in sandbox. I found some similar topics but i still can't understand what to do.
For example this one "How to create test account with PayPal Payments Pro (Use to represent yourself as a merchant using Pro) option selected in sandbox?"
It says login in developers site, ok, done with that. Then "click on the link Preconfigured". What link? I can't find it. It just does not exist on that page and on any other that i searched.
Why i cannot login to https://www.sandbox.paypal.com with my seller account from sandbox, but it's possible to login using clients accounts (personal) from sandbox.
Do i need to apply to Paypal Payments Pro after i registered my sandbox account, and if i need why do i get "Service is not responding due to an internal error. Please contact customer service at +1-888-883-9770.". Also what social security number do i have to use(i just want to check integration with paypal, i dont have any bank accounts or social security numbers. i'm not even from usa)?
Do i need to accept licence agreement and where can i find it? According to this document https://ppmts.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/642/kw/10501 it's located somewhere inside the "Merchant Services" tab. After about an hour of search i found it in old interface. When i click it i'm being redirected to "My account".
Please, help me somebody. I'm sick and tired of that buggy, laggy and terribly designed paypal's site.
Once you are logged into developer.paypal.com, click "Applicatons", then click "Sandbox accounts". You see a blue button at the top of the page that says "Create Account". When you create a business account, you will automatically be signed up for PayPal Payments Pro.
You can then grab your API credentials by clicking the "Profile" link from developer.paypal.com.
Edit:
Updating answer with additional information about creating test accounts.

PayPal Payments Standard Guest checkout

Im integrating an MVC4 website with Paypal and all has gone quite smoothly until now. However, when I click through, the buyer does not get the option to complete the purchase as a guest.
I'm using the Paypal HTML payments standard method and searched around and this page and Paypal itself said to make sure
'Account optional' was off in my profile. I'm in my sandbox profile now, but under 'website payment preferences' there is no such option. I just have:
Auto return for website payments
Payment data transfor
Encrypted website payments
Contact telephone no
Express checkout settings (just for german payment methods!)
Does anyone know where this setting is now?
The person I'm building the site does not want users to have to have a paypal account, so guest checkout functionality is required.
Unfortunately the Paypal website doesn't really help - searches for guest checkout turn up little.
Any help really appreciated.
Thanks
I'm having the same problem, I guess it might be related to your location or your customers location (Outside the US).
I have called PayPal Support and after about an hour of discussion they said something like that.
I hope that this is not the right answer (I hope there is some sort of setting we can do to change that, and we are just missing it).
also check that link it might help:
PayPal Standard not giving option for Check out as Guest
Make sure that the receiving account has verified status (eg, that you've linked it to a bank account).
Only verified accounts are eligible for guest checkout.
Another common pitfall is that you might have made a typo on the email address of the receiver.
Make sure it's the exact same one that's used to log into the PP account (or at least that it's associated, and confirmed to the account)
This topic forum is the best place I've found for a checklist of requirements to receive guest payments on paypal:
