I would like to build a RPM Package for a website.
in the %post section of my spec file I would like to check if the apache webserver is installed. If so, the config should be copied to /etc/httpd/conf.d/
If no Apache is installed, the config should just be stored in the projectfolder and the admin has to configure the webserver on his own.
So I need a construct like
if [Apache installed]
cp [configfile] /etc/httpd/conf.d/

I found out, I maybe could use rpm -q httpd for it. But how can I use it in the %post section?
(rpm -q --quiet httpd && cp yourfile /etc/httpd/conf.d/) || true
This will copy your config file over.
Of course, an easier way might just be
( [ -d /etc/httpd/conf.d ] && cp yourfile /etc/httpd/conf.d/) || true
Which says if the directory exists, drop it there, regardless of why the directory is there.
The extra "|| true " at the end causes the result of the line to always be OK so rpm won't claim a scriptlet failed if it didn't exist.
Here's how I tested it:

There are probably some macros you should be using instead of hardcoding /etc/, but I'm on my way out the door.

I'm using GDbus and make a dbus communication.
It using sesstion bus.
Problem is dbus-launch.
I was running dbus in Yocto with c++11.
And, I have to export $(dbus-launch).
But, I want to export $(dbus-launch) or same thing in booting time.
Because dbus start by systemd.
One solution is to have a recipe that adds environment variable:

How to install the latest MongoDB 3.4 or even 3.6?
They support with Ubuntu, but my server is Debian Buster and I am stuck with MongoDB 3.2.
I don't know if this is a good idea yet, but I just installed it by adding the sid repos and installing using the mongodb-server package. For me this installs version 3.4.18.
I created /etc/apt/sources.list.d/sid.list with:
deb http://deb.debian.org/debian/ sid main
deb-src http://deb.debian.org/debian/ sid main
then did
apt update
apt install mongodb-server
and verified that it's working by connecting with mongo.

It install the required apt dependencies and generates the SystemD service and makes it enabled.
Check if the build works (building is below). It runs all tests, so if it works, then it really does, actually. If there is an error, of course, you will not deploy on your server. So, if building and testing works, then it puts the binaries as it follow and you are sure and done.

I have installed nginx-gridfs and followed https://github.com/mdirolf/nginx-gridfs.
Nginx installed successfully.
In nginx.conf file I have specified as below:

location /gridfs/ {
gridfs my_app;
}
}
It throws an error gridfs is unknown directive.
Restarting nginx: nginx: [emerg] unknown directive "gridfs" in /etc/nginx/nginx.conf:69
nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test failed
Any one suggest solution.

While compiling nginx from its source code and then installing it using make install it gets installed in /usr/local/nginx instead of the /etc/nginx so the path and daemon created needs to be changed in the nginx scipt(which you have to create manually and link it since compiling from source code won't create its own).
I assume you've already installed nginx from its source code adding the gridfs module.
Now unfortunately, you can't start or stop the service of nginx using the script in /etc/init.d/nginx because installing from the source code won't create a script(if found in /etc/init.d/, then this script is previously generated while installing nginx using package manager)
Then check your nginx status. If it's running then use:
sudo kill `cat /usr/local/nginx/logs/nginx.pid`
then go ahead and create a script:
sudo nano /etc/init.d/nginx

Now add the script to the default run levels:

That's it. You are done! You can now use the script to start, stop and restart nginx:
