jquery-file-upload file arrives as random numbers - jquery-file-upload

So I have the jquery file upload script running on my webserver, with a target-url pointing to a local mac server with apache/php, and when I go to upload a file the script shows the progress bar and it completes, and it arrives to the correct directory and everything on the mac, but the file is an assortment of numbers like:
1390865006
or
1390865033
and it should be noted that those files are about the correct size, but even if I add .jpg to the end of the file name they won't open as images.
Am I missing some crucial something somewhere? I hope it's not my mac being too old, I didn't see any requirements for php version in jquery file upload, but I am running 5.2.8

Unity3d OSX "Application can't be opened"

I'm using a PC and I've created a build for Mac standalone.
I shared the file with my test user by zipping and emailing the build, but when he tries to run the application he sees this error:
The application "SomeApp.app" can't be opened.
After some searching, I learned that I need to do chmod to open the file. Can anyone tell me how to do that on a Mac?
The zip format doesn't have easy support for Unix-like file permissions, so your transfer process is stripping any permission flags that OSX uses to recognize files within that zip that are supposed to be executable. This can also happen with other file transfer solutions, so it's something to watch out for.
The best solution would be to create an archive which does keep those permissions, such as a tar archive.
Failing that, you can have a Mac user open a terminal and set the permission flag manually:
chmod a+x SomeApp.app/Contents/MacOS/*
(Replace SomeApp.app with whatever your .app folder is named)

The problem was not with the .zip, but rather with the build itself. Ran fine on my Mac, did NOT run fine once I uploaded it and downloaded it again (or if anyone else downloaded it).

This worked for me on 2020.3.16f1:
In the Unity Editor: Build Settings, check the box that lets you make an XCode project (requires having XCode installed, I believe I have Xcode 11)
Open the XCode project
Build
That solved my problem :)

After updating unity to latest version, the unity launcher is blank

Yesterday I updated my unity to latest version..
Then the launcher is blank.
And when i open any .unity file.. It opens the editor with a error.
Error loading file:///C%3A%2FUsers%2FBuckyDroidz%2FAppData%2FRoaming%2FUnity%2FPackages%2Fnode_modules%2Funity-editor-home%2Fdist/index.html#/login
Unity is still working and running the project.. But unity launcher is not working
After searching on google I found a fix. I mean I have to add some file in package folder.. But there was a link to download those files and the link is dead...

Looking at your SO username, it looks like this is a problem with your computer username.The D in your name is probably "Ď" or some other character and Unity is having problem reading that file path(C:/Users/username/AppData/Roaming/Unity/Packages/node_modules/unity-editor-home/dist/index.html#/login). This causes license check to fail.
Two things to try:
Method 1.
Change your username
A.Change your name to valid English characters
B.Uninstall and install Unity again to recognize that change.
If this does not fix your problem, do method 2.
Method 2
Do manual Activation
A.Disconnect your internet/wifi.
B.Open Unity. Go to Help -> Manage License
C.Click on Manual Activation.
D.Click on Save License or Save License Request(Depends on Unity version)
E.Connect to your internet/wifi.
F.Go to https://license.unity3d.com/manual then upload that saved license there. Follow steps to on the website to create a license on that website. Make sure to chose free unity version as the license type. When everything is done, you will be able to download a key file. Download that file.
G.Disconnect your internet/wifi again.
H.Open Unity. Go to Help -> Manage License
I.Click on Manual Activation.
J.Click on Load License then choose the file you downloaded from step F.
You can now connect to your internet/wifi again. Restart Unity and test if the problem is still there.

To fix
go to C:\Program Files\Unity\Editor\Data\Resources\Packages
You can see 4 tgz files

Use an unarchive program (I used 7-zip file manager) to open each one of these and extract contents (dist folder and package.json file) to your Roaming folder

After extract, the folder looks like this..

Has anybody ever successfully downloaded the Cities project in netlogo

As shown in the following link, the developer says that the whole project codes are included in the zip archive, but after I downloaded and decompressed it, I can't find the file of Cities.nlogo which is the main procedure for the entire simulation project. I don't know if there are someone else encounter the same problem as mine, how do you solve it ?

as you can see there is definitely a Cities.nlogo file in there, but is also appears that the zip file is slightly corrupted ("missing 2 bytes in zipfile"). You might try extracting the archive with a different program? It extracted successfully for me using Archive Utility on Mac OS X.

I am new for centos installation. I downloaded a minimul version of centos 6.5, around 339.7mb of size. I am trying to install this with GUI interface but I got an error after selecting the drive option, which comes after selecting the country.

Sorry but I am new here, so I can't put the exact image here.
I believe that i had this same issue and was able to solve it.
The files under the /repodata folder are missing their file extensions and are not matching their full names in the "TRANS.TBL" file, under this same dir.
Rename all the files to match what is in the "TRANS.TBL" file, then try the install over again.
Please let everyone know if this works for you.
In the past i would just put a URL in that pointed to the correct files on a server, i feel that most people take this workaround and that's why it's not as hot of an item as it should be. I hope this gets fixed in the .ISO.

I renamed all 8 files.

The correct file name is given in file "repomd" under folder repodata

I had exactly the same issue ;
under "repodata" directory opened "repmod" xml file
Searched file name within repmond xml file
Found matching strings
Renamed 8 files as specified in .xml file
and it worked like a charm

I had the same problem. Even if you manage to get past this step, you will encounter at a later point other errors related to filenames.
The root cause was using Unetbootin to create the bootable media. I switched to Rufus and everything works fine now.

Why CGI.pm upload old revision of a file on successful new file upload?

I am using CGI.pm version 3.10 for file upload using Perl. I have a Perl script which uploads the file and one of my application keeps track of different revisions of the uploaded document with check-in check-out facility.
Re-creational steps:
I have done a checkout(download a file) using my application (which is web based uses apache).
Logout from current user session.
Login again with same credentials and then check-in (upload) a new file.
Output:
Upload successful
Perl upload script shows the correct uploaded data
New revision of the file created
Output is correct and expected except the one case which is the issue
Issue:
The content of the newly uploaded file are same as the content of the last uploaded revision in DB.
I am using a temp folder for copying the new content and if I print the new content in upload script then it comes correct. I have no limit on CGI upload size. It seems somewhere in CGI environment it fails might be the version i am using. I am not using taint mode.
Can anybody helps me to understand what might be the possible reason?
Sounds like you're getting the old file name stuck in the file upload field. Not sure if that can happen for filefield but this is a feature for other field types.
Try adding the -nosticky pragma, eg, use CGI qw(-nosticky :all);. Another pragma to try is -private_tempfiles, which should prevent the user from "eavesdropping" even on their own uploads.
Of course, it could be that you need to localize (my) some variable or add -force to the filefield.
I found the issue. The reason was destination path of the copied file was not correct, this was because my application one of event maps the path of copied file to different directory and this path is storing in user session. This happens only when I run the event just before staring upload script. This was the reason that it was hard to catch. As upload script is designed to pick the new copied file from same path so it always end up uploading the same file in DB with another revision. The new copied file lying in new path.
Solved by mapping correct path before upload.
