How does customization work in tinymce - tinymce

I have a question before downloading tinymce.
Does anyone know if its possible to disable features for the users? (Example, make it so the user can only input text, not pictures)
And also, is it possible to change the style/css of the buttons and toolbar so they fit with your site?

You should manipulate tinymce.init() by adding or removing the unwanted plugins.
There are tons of options, so do some experimenting.
However, you should really begin with reading the documentation.

Flutter markdown editor with mention dropdown support on web

I have actually spent a lot of time looking for a solution for this. Stackoverflow is my last resort. Before I dive in I would like to describe my requirements.
My requirements,
I need an editor like slack that automatically converts markdown to relevant TextStyle or html. For example if I type, ## Hello and press enter. it is styled as H2 styled text.
Moreover, I also need to show a dropdown whenever I press # or # to select from a list of options.
In short, I need something like quip, slite or medium.
I was hoping that this will be easy in flutter, given half of these features are already there in Google's Gmail and other apps by google by havent yet found a single library that meets these requirements.
What I have already tried?
Quil: I found out by flutter_quill but for that I have to stick to a toolbar on the top. And no mentions support.
Zefyr and html_editor: I have tried these, but they are very buggy and slow. Moreover, they have very limited documentations.
Custom Flutter: Medium-like Text Editor. This is the most promising solution but it is lacking one essential feature of text editor. The article proposes that I divide the entire input field into multiple text fields which I can control using state. But this has one big problem that is, what if I want to select the entire body of text. Any hacks on this will be well appreciated.
If you have any questions and if the question isn't clear enough, please free to comment down below.

Override Rte.ts Extbase

Unfortunately I could not find anything helpful with my google skills. Coming from wordpress I am quite new to TYPO3 and I am a little overwhelmed with it.
I would like to adjust the RTE only in my TYPO3-extension. It should allow iframes and images.
Can anyone help me how to do this in the best way?
Images in the textarea would void the clean separation of images and text, but there is an extension rte_ckeditor_image which would enables it.
Otherwise you could define configuration presets, which you could assign to your fields.
More info in the manual for the rte_ckeditor

2sxc 10+, is it possible to add menu/commands to the TinyMCE WYSIWYG Editor?

I have a client hoping that we can get 1 or more custom menu commands added in to the default or advanced TinyMCE toolbar used in 2sxc. Is that possible? If yes, how/where do I get started?
There is no quick & simple way to do it, as there is no "injection" point for this. There is so much you could do with tinymce it's a difficult to provide a clear place to inject changes.
So as of now the best way would be to replicate the existing input-component and register your modified one as another input-field. For 2sxc 9 there are some blogs explaining how to do this, in 10.x the API isn't official yet - we want to be really sure it will be long term.

Styling Help Framework

I've read the documentation and I can't figure out how to override the help system framework that eclipse generates (eg. Search Scope All Topics etc). It shows as a grey boring style, and the plugins seem to build it automatically. I can add css to the toc.xml which affects my pages, but not the frame that goes around it. Is there a guide for this?
The modernization of the help system which is still based on HTML frames and which is not responsive has not yet been implemented (see Eclipse bug 501718). Eclipse is open source and help is welcome. ;-)
However, it is possible to create your own responsive HTML 5 page with an iFrame for the content and which loads TOC elements, search results, etc. via JavaScript from the Eclipse help system as it is. In this way, I realized a search field with search suggestions and a preview (see my blog post: Like to pimp your help, eh?).

What kind of Markup should i use for the Notes in my WebApp?

i am building a webapp that will have notes fields all over the place, but i dont know what kind of markup i should use.
these are my requirements
User must be able to change the text style (bold, italic, underlined)
User must be able to create bullet lists
User must be able to create numbered lists
User must be able to change the font-size or use pre-definded headings
User must be able to add links
User must have a WYSIWYG - Editor that hides the actual markup
the last one is the most important requirement, my target users struggle even with word, so using markup style input like here on stackoverflow is not an option.
so what kind`s of markup do you know that fits ans has some fancy WYSIWYG - Editor?
if you think that i missed a important requirement please feel free to suggest it.
tia
You'll need to check out tinyMCE.
It's the best javascript-based WYSIWYG editor I've found.
