clear case trigger implemented and working in server but while trying in client it's throwing below error - this trigger prevent from unreserved checkout
error checking out
M:\view_main\xxx\abcd.java
can't execute "C:\Program FIles\IBM\RatinalSDLC\Clearcase\bin\ccperl //\trigger\trig_reservedonly.pl";
the system cannot fine the specified file
Trigger action "-exec "C:\Program FIles\IBM\RatinalSDLC\Clearcase\bin\ccperl //\trigger\trig_reservedonly.pl"
unable to run : Exec format error
unable to check out "M:\view_main\xxx\abcd.java"
A trigger script must be accessible by all clients.
It is best to declared it in an UNC path (a shared path \\server\folder\path\to\script).
That way, the script is accessible from any client able to access and read the content of that shared path.
See for instance an example at "Creating a ClearCase trigger to disallow checkins for certain Rose RealTime versions".
I also used that technique in "how to get a notification for every checkin in clearcase for a particular Vob".

I am writing restful API with Yii, but I am getting an SQL error in create function. My purpose is to add new data to the news table, but it asks me for the author_id. How can I do it without crushing the default create method?
Solution 1. Run this below query on mysql/phpmyadmin and restart server
SET GLOBAL sql_mode = 'NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION';
Solution 2.
Open the my.ini or my.cnf file for editing (the file you have depends on whether you are running Windows or Linux).
Find the following line:
sql_mode = "STRICT_TRANS_TABLES,NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION"
Replace it with the line below:
If the line is not found, insert the line under the [mysqld] section (if there is no [mysqld] section, create it).
sql_mode= ""
Restart the MySQL service for the change to take effect.
If restarting is not a feasible option at the moment, you may log into the database server and execute the below command for the changes to take effect immediately. However, the change will be discarded the next time the MySQL service restarts unless the above process is performed.
set global sql_mode='';
I have a bitnami instance that I use to run DF 2.12.0, on which I added a custom “Remote service” (a HTTP REST API). I would like to use server-side event scripting functionalities to pre-process request data before sending it. I have this pre-processing Node js test script, that is linked to the “pre_process” event of my resource :
console.log("test");
But it seems that this script is not executed, after having a look at the DF log file :
However, all DF built-in functionalities such as the user management service seem to work with event scripting. Here is the same log file about a script linked to the user.session.get.pre_process event, that is indeed called :
Strangely, the complete path of my main event script is netwrixapi.search.post.pre_process, but the first log file image only mentions a call to the event “netwrixapi.post.pre_process” (without my resource “search”).
I included the “X-DreamFactory-Api-Key” in my request header, which references an app with a full-access role to API and script sources for all HTTP methods :
I also set APP_DEBUG=true and APP_LOG_LEVEL=debug in my .env file, without any luck.
Any ideas ?
Problem finally solved : seems like the log_events variable wasn't set to true by default (even if the official documentation says so) in my {$HOME}/apps/dreamfactory/htdocs/vendor/dreamfactory/df-core/config/df.php file.
I have created Azure Batch pool with Linux Machine and specified Application Package for the Pool.
My command line is
command='python $AZ_BATCH_APP_PACKAGE_scriptv1_1/tasks/XXX/get_XXXXX_data.py',
python3: can't open file '$AZ_BATCH_APP_PACKAGE_scriptv1_1/tasks/XXX/get_XXXXX_data.py':
[Errno 2] No such file or directory
when i connect to node and look at working directory non of the Application Package files are present there.
How do i make sure that files from Application Package are available in working directory or I can invoke/execute files under Application Package from command line ?
Make sure that your async operation have proper await in place before you start using the package in your code.
Also please share your design \ pseudo-code scenario and how you are approaching it as a design?
Further to add:
Seems like this one is pool level package.
The error seems like that the application env variable is either incorrectly used or there is some other user level issue. Please checkout linmk below and specially the section where use of env variable is mentioned.
This seems like user level issue because In case of downloading the package resource, if there will be an error it will be visible to you via exception handler or at the tool level is you are using batch explorer \ Batch-labs or code level exception handling.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/batch/batch-application-packages
Reason \ Rationale:
If the pool level or the task application has error, an error-list will come back if there was an error in the application package then it will be returned as the UserError or and AppPackageError which will be visible in the exception handle of the code.
Key you can always RDP into your node and checkout the package availability: information here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/batch/batch-api-basics#connecting-to-compute-nodes
I once created a small sample to help peeps around so this resource might help you to checkeout the use here.
Hope rest helps.
On Linux, the application package with version string is formatted as:
AZ_BATCH_APP_PACKAGE_{0}_{1}
On Windows it is formatted as:
AZ_BATCH_APP_PACKAGE_APPLICATIONID#version
Where 0 is the application name and 1 is the version.
$AZ_BATCH_APP_PACKAGE_scriptv1_1 will take you to the root folder where the application was unzipped.
Does this "exact" path exist in that location?
tasks/XXX/get_XXXXX_data.py
You can see more information here:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/batch/batch-application-packages
Edit: Just saw this question: "or can I invoke/execute files under Application Package from command line"
Yes you can invoke and execute files from the application package directory with the environment variable above.
If you type env on the node you will see the environment variables that have been set.
in Talend(data integration) i am trying to copy local directory to remote directory but when i am running the job only i can copy files but not folders from directory.please help me with this job.
In my talend job i am using local connection and remote connection components->
tfilelist->tfileproperties(to store path and name in one table)->tmssqlinput(extracting path from last table)->iteration-> tssh(if directory s not available then create)->finally sending it to tftpput to connect and copy to remote directory.
when i am storing in one table using tfileproperties in that for files it will generate some size but when folder s coming the size will be zero,using this condition m creating the directory using tssh component but unable to create folders,please help me.
Do you get an error message?
I believe the output of the TMSSqlInput should be a row based, rather than iteration. That might be the source of the problem.
tMSqlInput docs
tMSSqlInput executes a DB query with a strictly defined order which
must correspond to the schema definition. Then it passes on the field
list to the next component via a Main row link.
how to get the latest version of code from the MKS repository ??
using MKS commands
To get last version of a project from mks repository, first you should create a sandbox and then you can resync the sandbox with server.
To create a sandbox use the command si createsandbox
si createsandbox --project=%mks_Project% -R -Y %sandboxLocation%
this command will create a sandbox of project from normal line. If you work on devpath then you should add --devpath=%projectDevpath% on the command
To resync a sandbox use the command si resync --sandbox=%sandboxName%. e.g. si resync --sandbox="D:/sandbox/project1/project.pj"
Please be sure you replace all fields between % this the proper value. Depending of your server configuration, the command cand be diferent.
