I want to create a block in Totara that would contain my custom content.
I did not find on interface where this can be done.
I want this in short time so if anyone could answer will be a great help
Thanks.
Totara is a distribution of Moodle, so you can use the development guides at http://docs.moodle.org/dev.
To create a block see https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Blocks
and https://docs.moodle.org/dev/Blocks_Advanced

You would have thought this would have been a fairly straightforward task, however, I can't for the life of me, find where it is originally set. I'd like to make a few other changes once I know which file to look for. any help much appreciated.
Hi please check if you have any party extension installed.
If not then please check the below steps
You need to create one folder in your theme name i18n and create file en_US.csv en_US is the language code it depends on your language code.
you need to change the value from Zip/Postcode to Postcode/Zip .
The second method is to enable translate inline and change the word that you want to change.

I have a page that has multiple variants on my Magnolia CMS. I want to convert one of those variants as the default page. I don't think there is an out-of-the-box automated solution for that. The simplest approach that I can think of is to copy the components from the new variant and paste them onto the default page but that is a tedious process as I have a lot of components on the new variant. Instead of redoing all the tasks on the default page, is there an easy way to convert a variant to the default page?
Thanks in advance!
That is not a product feature currently. We would welcome you to make a suggestion here - ideally including some details about why you want it or what problems it is causing you.

CopyUtil might help with that (you probably need to remove the existing nodes first).
I have contact persons' list and i want to display his detail(Email,Phone number,Address etc.)
Please give me simple example for the Address field.
I want functionality like the ACF(Advance custom filed plugin which provide in WordPress.
I am using Typo3 9.5.18 version.
I would use the extension tt_address https://extensions.typo3.org/extension/tt_address/.

You can follow this:
How to create complicated content elements
or this:
How to create simple content elements
or the official documentation:
Documentation
Regardless what you choose, you need to be aware of the following: In order to create a custom content element you need time to understand how it works patience and do some experiments. Once you understand the process and create 5-10 elements, then all will come automatically to you :)
Best regards
I am building a fairly simple website based on typo3. I'm new to the CMS but I've read almost everything I could find about it - tutorials, wikis, documentation. I'm stuck with designing a functionality for the administrator to be able to create records with predefined attributes (category, date, info, image, ...) and those records to be listed in a table on the front end with a "View detailed" link on each row. Will I need to develop a complete extension for this? From where the administrator will enter these records? How can I iterate them on the front end?
I apologize in advance if my question is too broad.
The Kickstarter extension provides a full stop solution for your needs. There is a good set of, if slightly outdated, screencasts explaining how to use this extension to create your custom record types and associated front-end views.
is it possible to create new default settings in an iPhone App on the fly?
I know how to modify existing ones but have not been able to find some code snippets to create brand new ones.
Your help is much appreciated.
Kind Regards

You need to use NSUserDefaults.... look here for documentation and here for an example on how to use it.
