I apply for Facebook audience network a lots of times but I was rejected every time. Can anybody help me on this developer audience network? What are the requirements. Is there any reason my application got rejected?.
This is a story why I cannot recommend to waste your time with Audience Network.
As an indie developer I've decided to try Facebook Audience Network to show ads in my mobile application. After I spent hours to make all the integration stuff and filled out all required registration info my application was successfully approved to the network.
But it was still blocked from showing ads because of the bug - I was not able to add bank info to the Payouts in Monetization Manager because it is treated my SWIFT number as invalid one. So I've made a support ticket and attached screenshot with error. In response I got following answer:
Thank you for applying for Audience Network. At this time we are
unable to accept your application. We thank you for your patience
while we determine the ideal process for bringing new publishers on to
the network.
I was shocked about such response as my application was still approved, so reply was totally irrelevant to the problem. There was no explanations on the topic and ticket was closed without a chance to appeal. so I created a new ticket where I asked about reasoning for such response. To my surprise I received exactly same answer as previous one.
After sending few additional emails to support I received an update which does not give any additional information and only confirms Facebook ignorance to developers:
Thank you for reaching back to us. We currently do not have any
further information to offer. We seek your kind understanding on this
matter.
I’ve spent more time trying to get an answer and after a week of waiting I've got another useless answer:
I would like to let you know that your case has been reviewed by our
Internal team in detail earlier and under these circumstances, the
team has decided to maintain the original decision. The application
has been disapproved and unfortunately we cannot provide any further
insight on this issue.
I never break any rules and even spent money to promote my app with Facebook ads previously, but Facebook showed that they don’t care about your problems and don’t respect developers or their time.
As a conclusion I suggest for everyone to avoid my mistake and do not spend your time to just get such a crap from Facebook.
UPDATE:
After half a year they did some updates in Audience Network and now it displays a message that they do not work with my country yet (Ukraine). It is still ridicuolus that support was not able to provide this information after numerous requests.

We use the Facebook API in our web app to provide a "publish to Facebook group" feature directly from the web app. Customers can publish the results they are achieving thanks to our products in our group.
To implement this very simple feature we had to duck, provide screen recordings, send business registration papers, give login credentials, describe the process from every perspective, crawl and bent.
Then
on Dec 15, we received the following message:
"We’re now requiring an admin of your business, [....], to complete access verification. This is a new process that asks for information about how you use the Meta business assets and information of your clients, so we can verify that your business is a Tech Provider."
Also in the same message:
"This typically takes around 10 minutes to complete and you’ll only need to do this once."
Since then I filled in the form 9 times, with serious effort. But every 5 days it just get rejected without a clear reason given, and there is no chance to contact a Facebook support.
Does anyone know how to fill in the "Access Verification - prove you are a Tech Provider form", so I will get accepted?
The actual questions that they keep asking are:
Add details about how your business will use Platform Data (i.e., any info or data you obtain from us) to enable a product or service on behalf of your clients.
Describe how your clients use your product or service.
I already tried the solution proposed here:
Stuck in Facebooks Access Verification hell
quoting their questions, but it has been in vain...
The time is running out, in some days Facebook is going to block the API if we don't pass this verification process, but I don't know what else we can try...
I tried to contact Facebook, but this seems to be impossible. Some forms (App Review Support) just give a generic error message.
I tried to post a request of help to the Facebook Developer Group, but they rejected the request because it's not related to a development issue.
Same when I tried to open a ticket with the Facebook tech support for a bug; they answered that it's not a technical issue.
There is no guide from Facebook on how they want this information to be provided.
We have a booking system that has an online booking aspect. We have been trying for about 2 years now to get facebook to respond to our request for access to their 'book now' list of supported apps and have our product listed.
Not a single response. Multiple applications. There is no support or ability to request if it's been looked at.
We see there are some apps in there, but we can see threads in the facebook support forums that many others are facing the same issue, yet FB closes the threads as solved, even though they're not.
How can we possibly get FB to start the process of allowing our developers to write for the Book Now button and have them actually respond / allow us?
The specific question is, if you've had success, what exact steps did you take? For us, nothing seems to work and 2 years later, our clients are not happy.
Thank you.
I want to add, we have a test app, it's of the type business, we are a confirmed business, it's all done, but we can't add Step 3 from here https://developers.facebook.com/docs/facebook-business-extension/fbe/guides/developer-panel as it's just not in the list, despite all the above being complete.
This is not exactly a programming related question but it is closely related to developing so I think it is pertinent.
I´ve been charged in my work with developing an app with access to Facebook Messenger. I needed a Facebook Account and I didn´t want to use a personal one (and I don´t use Facebook anyway) so I created a new gmail account to use it to sign up in Facebook, as user and as a developer.
After a couple of days of work, having created the page, my webhook, done some tests, etc., and investing a good deal of work hours, my account appeared as disabled.
I have to admit a didn´t use much of real info on this account (I´m kind of allergic to disclosing personal information unless mandatory), and the account was new so I thought that maybe that was the reason (they don´t give you any).
So I tried again a second time with an account I had been using for years (just for logging in some sites, not much of real information there neither, as I say I don´t really use Facebook), and after a couple of days, same results, locked account.
I can´t stress enough I don´t use the API extensively, I just send some messages to another user I have added as one of the application developers so I can test (that other account is never blocked, by the way). It´s not like I am sending hundreds of messages or anything like it. And by the way, I have never been blocked while I was doing something (so I could indentify my wrongdoing). It just happened that at some point when I was going back to work (first hour in the morning, or after lunch for example) I tried to log in again and then I got the warning.
So I have tried a third time, this time I have given all my real information, reluctantly uploaded a personal picture, given all my data to Facebook (yikes!).
And after a couple of days: damn, same result. Blocked account. Work lost. They prompt you to upload a picture to check your Id, but to no avail (no answer yet, not even a notice of any kind) and they don´t give you absolutely any reason why the have blocked you.
And if I go to https://facebook.com/help/contact/260749603972907 to fill the form where they ask you to upload an ID then it says that the email doesn´t belong to a disabled account!
What is the unusual activity they have detected? What have I done wrong? Has someone experienced the same problem? Has someone got any clue of what it is that I could be doing wrong?
Because I don´t want to go through the whole process once again only to get blocked in a couple of days.
Thanks.
EDIT 1:
Ok, after checking again now it recognizes the account as a disabled one. I have gone to https://facebook.com/help/contact/260749603972907 to fill the form and I have uploaded my ID (even though I completely disagree with disclosing that kind of information).
Honestly, I don´t know what it means by "shortly". It´s been two days now and I have not received any kind of notification yet.
By the way, I haven´t received any kind of notification (mail, sms, anything) during any step of the process EVER. No one. Nothing. Not even an automatic email response. Plain absolute silence.
Honestly, if Facebook uses a security system like this, that lets hackers in while blocks legitimate users, creating false positives and making us lose many hours of work, without any reason or notification or explanation, then Facebook security is plain wrecked.
And I cannot do anything less than to strongly discourage any developer to use it if they can avoid it (what unfortunately I can´t).
EDIT 2:
After some days I regained access to my account again. Without any notification, I just tried again and now it worked (really good communication policy, Facebook, congratulations).
My App had disappeared, so I had to go through the whole process again. And after sending ONE message to the API, this again:
And once again the asked me to upload a picture of myself (I think they already have enough pictures of me to make an album).
This is just plain crazy.
My previous facebook developer account was blocked due I guess of making to many requests (No reason given by them and no answer after trying to contact them).
So before fall in the same issue with a new account. I would like to know if some has some relevant info or experience of how much request per second or hour can be made safetly to Facebook's API before been mark as abuse of service and been banned.
Thanks.
There is an article about rate limits in the official docs: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api/advanced/rate-limiting
I applied twice in the google forms for a developer key for soundcloud to use a widget on my website. It has been more than 3 weeks and I have still not got any reply from them. What do I do?
I'm afraid you just have to wait until they respond. I have applied 3 times now and keep getting rejected and the response is a generic answer not explaining why you were denied. For me I think it is the APP URL, yet they don't explain, it is so frustrating.
Did you try email api#soundcloud.com on my first rejection they were very friendly and replied with advice, however second time they did not.
You can also try calling help on +4930467247600 however they have not worked for me.
Lastly I read online that one person heard nothing from them for weeks and checked his SoundCloud developer page under 'YOUR APPS' and his app was there set up and with the client id and secret etc. He was just never informed that he got it. So hopefully that is the story in your case.
For me it took four weeks. I contacted them via Twitter and Email. They responded but all they said was:
"As mentioned previously, we’re currently working through applications
as quickly as possible, although there has recently been more requests
than usual lately causing delays.
You should receive confirmation soon though."
