Error while importing gobblin gradle project into IDE - eclipse

I am getting this error while I try to import the gobblin distribution into my IDE , I have tried both inteliJ and eclipse , not able to find any luck.
Below are the errors which I get when I try to import.
In Eclipse the error is:

This is because on Windows, Git can not create symbolic link file on non-admins mode. Symbolic link file is created as text file, containing a symbolic link.
Try the following command in Administrator Mode:
git clone -c core.symlinks=true <URL>
Then check the content of symbolic link file, such as "build.gradle" in your description. It should be the same as the content of "../../api.gradle", not just a symbolic link.

C/C++ debugger failing to create and write to raise.c in WSL using VSCode

I am trying to develop in C on WSL(2) (using Ubuntu) for a university course but am having trouble using the built in debugger for C/C++ in VSCode (installed via the C/C++ extension.
For my testings, I am running this code:

When running into the assert, the debugger errors and VSC displays the following message on the bottom right corner:

I have tried every single tutorial, github issue and stackoverflow question's answer but nothing has worked.
I have reason to believe that this has to do with VSC not having some kind of permissions to write/create files because if I press on Create File (which is prompted in the message), It says:
Unable to write file 'vscode-remote://wsl+ubuntu/build/glibc-eX1tMB/glibc-2.31/sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/raise.c' (NoPermissions (FileSystemError): Error: EACCES: permission denied, mkdir '/build')
but, if I create the folder /build and chmod 777 it, it is able to create the file, but not write anything into it.
Does anyone have a method to solve this?
Also, what is raise.c and why do I need it anyways?

One of the possible causes of this problem is that I forgot to add the necessary parameters to add a run program in the "Args" list in "Configurations" in Launch.json.

In my case, I used try{}catch{} to print the error and saw what was, had nothing to do with raise.c

I am creating protractor cucumber project using TypeScript. While trying to run my cucumber test in protractor I am getting below error message. I have installed cucumber globally as well in the root of my project folder. Still getting same issue. :
Below is my bin folder structure. I do not see any 'cucumber' file or folder. However, I do see cucumber-js file. When I copy cucumber.js file from dist folder the error goes away. But that gives some other errors.
bin folder contents:
cucumber-js
run_slave
Because there are issues with cucumber v4.2.1 on windows 7 64bits.
For now please try the following:
Delete the existing cucumber folder from your "../project/node_modules"
Run "npm install cucumber#1.3.3." in "../project/node_modules"
Try executing your scripts now Check if the issue persists!

Cannot get Cordova project building in VS2015 with the facebook connect plugin

I've tried everything, but cannot seem to get it working. I've done the following:
1.Remove the plugins with the variables via the config designer.
2.Update to Cordova 5.0.0 via the config designer (Platforms > Cordova CLI)
3.From the command line: 1.Go to your project directory.
2.Type the following substituting the plugin name for the plugin you wish to add:
3.npm install -g cordova
4.cordova plugin add nl.x-services.plugins.launchmyapp --variable URL_SCHEME=myscheme
But I still cannot build. Here is the detailed output from MSBUILD :

So after taking the advice of Kamil Pajdzik below, I used build.bat to compile it and found some issues with my path being waaay to long. I mapped a drive to cut down the length and it will now build AOK from the build.bat.
Still no dice in Visual studio though (I assume this is difference between build.bat using gradle and vs using ant).

Okay, this appears to be the issue. There are two problems. The first is a max path size issue on Windows. The issue is that it the plugin uses part of the the app's ID to create a folder, and VS by default uses a random identifier that is fairly long so this exacerbates the issue.
To resolve:
Update the ID for your project to something short (com.myproject.short)
Move the project to the root of your drive
Go to the project folder and re-add the android platform. From the command line:
cordova platform remove android
cordova platform add android
The second issue that then remains is an "Ant" build seems to be missing a folder which likely is a bug. If you add the "ant-build" folder in the location it complains about the build succeeds.
Also - Be sure plugins/fetch.json is included in your checkins since this is where your plugin variables are stored. If that file is deleted, you'll need to remove and re-add the plugin again. From your update it sounds like either VS is still set to use Cordova 4.3.0 and/or plugins/fetch.json does not contain your plugin variables. You should see something like this if the plugin was added using Cordova 5.0.0:

The "variables" section is what may be missing.
Try running F:\GIT\CordovaFb\BlankCordovaApp1\fbtest\platforms\android\cordova\build.bat from a command line. It usually gives more information.
Cordova 5.0.0 requires Android SDK in version 22. You can check if you have that installed via SDK manager.
This particular plugin appears to have some challenges with Cordova 5.0.0. Android underwent significant changes in this release that may be causing issues.

I am seeing failures if you build either with Ant or Gradle using a pure Cordova command line interface project. Likely a plugin fix is required to resolve the issue. I reccomend adding comments to this defect to help the plugin author resolve the issue.
So thanks to Chucks help, I managed to get a build working. It was indeed a combination of path length exceeding 260 characters (which I solved by mapping my solution directory to a drive) and a couple of folders not being created.
They were in my case :
F:\Git\CordovaFb\FBTest\platforms\android\com.phonegap.plugins.facebookconnect\myapp7a29c6c80cee4b2aa0dc8a70dc57527d-FacebookLib\bin\classes
and

I seem to have to manually recreate these from time to time as they get deleted on some builds...
So the full process is as follows (for others who have the same issue)
1) Create your solution in as short a path as possible (map a drive if you need to)
2) Add your cordova project to the solution, double click config.xml, goto platforms and change the CLI version to 5.0.0
3) Fire up a command prompt in the solutions root
4) Type the following cordova plugin add https://github.com/Wizcorp/phonegap-facebook-plugin.git --variable APP_ID="00000000" --variable APP_NAME="My App"
5) When its done you'll have the plugin in the plugins dir and the fetch.json file should contain the variables you entered for appid and appname
6) Do a full build and you'll get some errors (Exit code 8)
7) Manually create the following :

and

8) Your build should succeed! Check periodically if those paths still exist.
This should get you by until the next release of the cordova tools for VS (if they fix it)

Compiling android native app calling ndk-build from eclipse, on ubuntu

On ubuntu 11.10 I installed eclipse from repositories, installed adt and cdt plugins. I am able to compile the hello-jni example using command line, but i would like to use eclipse for the task.
I followed the guide here: http://mhandroid.wordpress.com/2011/01/23/using-eclipse-for-android-cc-development/ and defined a PATH variable in eclipse preferences (window->preferences->c/c++->environment), pointing to the ndk-r7b folder. But the project won't buid. I get this error:

(last line should be "no such file or directory" in english)
If I specify "${PATH}/ndk-build" or "/home/athos/android/ndk-r7b/ndk-build" as the build command. i get this:

Please fix it to point to a valid make executable (e.g. /usr/bin/make)
Which is funny, since It suggests the exact same directory I indicated. Make is installed and present at the indicated location.
What am I missing?

/fully/qualified/path/to/ndk-build

Why would Eclipse not be able to include a file when running a PHPUnit test?

I have the following class and unit test in a PHP project in Eclipse:
I know my unit test works as I can run it at the command line:
Now I want to run this test from Eclipse. I set up PHP Unit in Eclipse like this:
However, when I run the PHPUnit tests:
It tells me that it can't include the class file:

Why would PHPUnit be able to find the class when run from the command line but not when run from Eclipse?
When you start something from the command line, the "current directory" has a well-defined meaning: It's the directory where you started the command.
In Eclipse, what is the "current directory"? It's probably the directory from which you started Eclipse or maybe the folder in which Eclipse is installed.
I haven't used PHP in Eclipse before but for other languages, I can set the current directory in the launch config somewhere. If that doesn't work, define a variable which points to your project and then use absolute paths (using that variable as a starting point).
Have same problem. Found only solution by creating tests with internal PHPUnit wizard like at this screenshot:

But following investigate show that your test case file should contain reference to tested code for example like this: require_once 'C:\Apache2\htdocs\jobeet\src\Ibw\JobeetBundle\Utils\Jobeet.php';
Other experiments with plugin config not bringing luck. So in my opinion PHPUnit from PHP Tools not well developed plugin. Consider using MakeGood plugin as better alternative.
