Click once application Deployment - Installation Error - deployment

I have created winform application using .Net Framework 4.5
I have created click once deployment package for it. But when i install it on server it gives me error as below
and the error upon clicking Details buttons shown as
ERROR SUMMARY
Below is a summary of the errors, details of these errors are listed later in the log.
* Activation of C:\Users******\Downloads\Publish******.application resulted in exception. Following failure messages were detected:
+ Downloading file:///C:/Users/******/Downloads/Publish/Application Files/********_1_0_0_3/*******.dll.deploy did not succeed.
+ Access to the path 'C:\Users**********\AppData\Local\Temp\2\Deployment\********.dll' is denied.

I have a similar problem on occasion. ...\Temp\2... seems to be a default folder for doing stuff. My clickonce deployment was getting blocked by a test run in Selenium using the same location to store its test logs.
Check if the location is being used by other processes to store files while they are working or see if you can clear the folder before starting the update (if you do an update in code vs just clicking the *.appref-ms file).
Also note that ...\Temp\2 can show up as a file instead of a folder thereby blocking any use of it as a folder.

getting error message "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)"

I have a simple MVC web application, which was running locally without problems 3 weeks ago.
When I now open the application in Netbeans and run it, everything seems to work fine as well. However, when I go to the browser (in my case google chrome) to look at the app's frontend (at http://localhost:8080/optimizer), I get the following error message:
HTTP Status 404 - Not Found
In Chrome's javascript console the following error message is given:
optimizer:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
"optimizer" is the name of the app. (What's the point of the "1" in "optimizer:1"? ... I don't get this either.)
The server (payara) is running:
I can also reach the server's admin page:
However, somehow the server cannot seem to find the application, although 3 weeks ago everything worked fine ... I just don't get it.
What's wrong? How can I fix this?
UPDATE:
Clicking on "List Deployed Applications" in Payara's Admin Console reveals that my app is not(!) deployed.
I tried to deploy it by clicking on "Deploy an Application" -> "Choose file".
I selected the jar-file "optimizer-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar", selected Type "EJB Jar", then clicked on OK.
I got this error message:
Archive type of /private/var/folders/hh/hgq7wrjn5d51gy2tkbxkkbwh0000gn/T/optimizer-15075570634779987058.0-SNAPSHOT.jar was not recognized
How can I deploy my app? And why did it work automatically before and now it doesn't work any more?
UPDATE 2:
A difference I realise compared to before (3 weeks ago) is that the browser doesn't open automatically any more when I run the app.
Furthermore, Google Chrome used to be the IDE'S default browser ... now there is just a grey globe and I can no longer choose Chrome as my browser:
UPDATE 3:
I just noticed there is an error message that appears when the server is started (it's in the middle of hundred of rows of log output so I didn't notice it at first):
UPDATE 4:
-> NetBeans IDE 11.2
-> Payara Server 5.193
Error clearly shows, server is not able to recognize archive type of jar,
Archive type of
/private/var/folders/hh/hgq7wrjn5d51gy2tkbxkkbwh0000gn/T/optimizer-15075570634779987058.0-SNAPSHOT.jar
was not recognized
From payara blog,
If you set “Location” by “Packaged File to Be Uploaded to the Server”,
the suitable type would be selected.
So, the suitable type would be selected automatically.
Also, optimizer-15075570634779987058.0-SNAPSHOT.jar is not an original jar optimizer-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar
It seems that issue is with the path of an archive, from thread
Code in uploadFrame.jsf:
<sun:form id="form">
I probe to change it to:
<sun:form id="form" enctype="multipart/form-data">
in uploadFrame.jsf into console-common.jar file. And it works.
You can try with changing uploadFrame.jsf into console-common.jar file.
(Not sure if chrome takes care of this, as it was working for you with chrome).
You may also want to try manual deployment,
install-directory/bin/asadmin deploy PATH_TO_ARCHIEVE/optimizer-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar
Ok, I now found out how to run the app locally without problems: by creating a .war file instead of a .jar file - now I can run the app again without problems.

Azure Function - Publishing Failed - RequestTimeout

I have a basic Azure Function app. When I try to publish the app, I receive an error that says "error : The attempt to publish the ZIP file through https://... failed with HTTP status code RequestTimeout.".
This app is a .NET Standard app. I followed the instructions here. The difference is, my app has an Event Hub Trigger instead of the Http Trigger shown in the documentation. I don't understand why i'm getting a Timeout during deployment. I also don't know how to get past this.
What am I doing wrong?
Update
Here are the logs.

[C:\MyProject\MyProject.Functions\MyProject.Functions.csproj]
According to this:
https://github.com/projectkudu/kudu/wiki/Deploying-from-a-zip-file
you should be able to pass ?isAsync=true to the zipdeploy url (so it would be: 'https://my-project.scm.azurewebsites.net/api/zipdeploy?isAsync=true'
This requests resolves faster without a timeout and then you can grab the location header from the response, which you can poll to see the status of your deployment.
In my case this error was because of the version of packages in my .csproj file. After updating them there was not error and the publish was successful.
I faced this recently and spent 2 complete days trying to fix it. Tried most of the solutions suggested here and on other posts.
What finally worked for me is removing my Publish settings and creating a new one by uploading a brand new .PublishSettings file.
How to get .PublishSettings file?
On Azure Portal, on your Function App, click on "Get Publish Profile"
And will automatically start downloading it.
How to Upload Publish Profile?
When trying to Publish the project from Visual Studio, click on New -> Select "Import Profile"
And Browse your .PublishSettings file.
Then, just select this new profile (if it's not selected already), and click on Publish button as you would usually do.
In my case, it was an issue with two things:
1] Visual Studio and Azure are flaky. Timeouts in a working scenario are still somewhat regular, on a bad day happening about 50-75% of the time for me. This is with an 80mb function app, not super big and I have gigabit Internet.
2] Someone deleted the file share for the storage. I had to fix WEBSITE_CONTENTAZUREFILECONNECTIONSTRING to point to the right storage connection string, and I had to update WEBSITE_CONTENTSHARE to point to a valid file share name, which I had to create in the storage resource group matching WEBSITE_CONTENTAZUREFILECONNECTIONSTRING connection string.
If you are using a development and production function slot, I would suggest to make WEBSITE_CONTENTAZUREFILECONNECTIONSTRING and WEBSITE_CONTENTSHARE deployment slot settings, that way you can link to a production and development storage environment. This is especially handy if you are using tables or blob storage and don't want to have to prefix or suffix all your table names or keys. In my opinion these two settings should be slots by default.
Once I did these changes I could publish, still dealing with the intermittent timeouts.
The error messaging with Azure function publishing is bad to non-existant, with any kind of configuration or resource errors simply causing a timeout error.
I got the same issue when using Visual Studio. Very frustrating.
But then I just used the zip file that VS created and used
az functionapp deployment source config-zip -g <resource_group> -n \
<app_name> --src <zip_file_path>
to publish.
You can find more options in
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-functions/deployment-zip-push
I got the same issue recently.
I'm not sure if they are related, but it started working fine after updating the NuGet package "Microsoft.NET.Sdk.Functions" to v3.0.7.
Changing the profile to use WebDeploy was the only way i could update my Azure Function.
When downloading the Profiles from the Azure Portal, and importing to VS - i noticed it imported 2 profiles. 1 for Zip, and another for Web Deploy method for uploading.
Trying the Zip publish profile, failed, but the WebDeploy 2nd Profile - did work and update perfectly.

Error occurred while starting the build in Openshift 3

I have been trying to deploy a war file as an OpenShift project. The server used is jboss-webserver30-tomcat8. I have followed the below steps -
Put ROOT.war file under 'deployments' directory in local system.
Upload the changes in github.
Create a new JAVA project in OpenShift 3 and provide the github repository details.
No automatic build or deployment starts. On manually clicking on Start Build button, the below error is displayed:
An error occurred while starting the build. Reason: Error resolving
ImageStreamTag jboss-webserver30-tomcat8-openshift:1.2 in namespace
openshift: unable to find latest tagged image
Please suggest how can I resolve the error.
This is an issue with how the jboss-webserver30-tomcat8-openshift imagestream is defined in the cluster. We are working to correct this, it is not currently importing the correct set of tags and as a result the 1.2 tag was stopped being a valid tag, when it should be.
However the short term solution is change your buildconfig to reference one of the tags that has a valid image reference associated (e.g. 1.3) instead of the 1.2 tag it is currently referencing. Your build should then be able to run.
A (temporarily) unavailable builder image may be related to this platform upgrade that correlates with the time of posting your question.
Generally, the best place to check for any incident reports or scheduled maintenance is the Status Page (Starter | Pro clusters; it's linked in the web console too, in the upper right corner of the interface).
If this does not seem to be related (e.g. you're not on the starter-us-west-2 cluster where the platform upgrade is taking place) or persists after the maintenance is over, I would encourage you to check the open issues, and log a new bug report, if it's not in the list.
Thank you.

failed to load RSL textLayout

I just installed gentoo linux amd64.
on that I installed eclipse 4.2M5 with FD5 for flex development.
after compiling my project, when I execute it i get the following in the log file:
Error #2046: The loaded file did not have a valid signature.
Failed to load RSL http://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/swz/tlf/1.1.0.604/textLayout_1.1.0.604.swz
Failing over to RSL textLayout_1.1.0.604.swz
Error #2046: The loaded file did not have a valid signature.
i use FD5 with Flex 4.1A.
any ideas why it happens ?
update:
it seems that when I close and open my project I am able to execute my project once. the 2nd time that I execute the project on my browser I get the error and I need to close and reopen the browser to execute it again.
First of all thank you for all of your comments.
I finally was able to properly resolve the issue.
it seems that flash saves cache info at ~/.macromedia
(~ for home dir, for example if the user is ufk so it translates to /homeukf)
all I need to do is to delete that folder, since then I am able to refresh my app on the browser without any problems.

Click Once Deployment Error

I am new to Click Once Application deployment so I think I may have a simple problem. I have a window app that I created and deployed successfully as a ClickOnce App using Vis. Studio 2010 and deploying to a web service. I made some changes to the app and changed the deployment location so I started the click Once Process over. Now when I deploy I get an error. The app builds fine, runs fine in VS 2010, when I deploy files are created. Double clicking the App.application file will start the install of the app with a .Net framework error.
"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
System.UriFormatException: Invalid URI: The URI is empty..."
I have double checked and triple checked the Publish Foldre Location and INstallation Folder URL to make sure they are pointing in the correct places and using the correct format. I double and triple checked the Updates dialog box when you click the Updates button. The combobox for the Application Updates matches the Installation Folder URL. "\MyServer\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Transfer\Deploy\" I double checked to make sure the required files are correct. Security settings did not change.
What could I be missing?
It seems you missed one backslash in your installation folder URL:
\\MyServer\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Transfer\Deploy\
Please make sure that if you are using some image/sound or log files then its Build Action must be "Content" type.
