Untrackable Error: Unrecognized field "notBefore" (class org.keycloak.representations.idm.UserRepresentation) - scala

I hope you can help me out here. I need to relaunch a project again after the development got stopped about half a year ago. It consists out of different microservices. Mainly a Scala Swagger API based on the Play framework. But for securing their application and the users they are using keycloak.
While fetching the user profile the following internal server error occurs:
"javax.ws.rs.ProcessingException: com.fasterxml.jackson.databind.exc.UnrecognizedPropertyException:
Unrecognized field "notBefore" (class org.keycloak.representations.idm.UserRepresentation), not marked as ignorable
(24 known properties: "disableableCredentialTypes", "enabled", "emailVerified", "origin", "self", "applicationRoles", "createdTimestamp", "clientRoles", "groups", "username", "totp", "id", "email", "federationLink", "serviceAccountClientId", "lastName", "clientConsents", "socialLinks", "realmRoles", "attributes", "firstName", "credentials", "requiredActions", "federatedIdentities"])
at [Source: org.apache.http.conn.EofSensorInputStream#3101000d; line: 1, column: 369] (through reference chain: org.keycloak.representations.idm.UserRepresentation["notBefore"])"
At other endpoints I get a similiar error as this one, except there is another field missing in the definition.
The Keycloak server runs on version 3.4.0.Final and the dependecies are all to version 3.4.0.Final upgraded.
keycloak-services
keycloak-admin-client
keycloak-adapter-core
keycloak-authz-client
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks in advance
Solution
My docker-images did not pull the current version. So the dependencies stayed as the were in my running environment.

Deploying custom Keycloak theme with Operator (v15.1.1 & v16.0.0)

I have a theme with a size >1MB (which precludes the configmap-solution provided as an answer to this question).
This theme has been been packaged according to the Server Development Guide - its folder structure is
META-INF/keycloak-themes.json
themes/[themeName]/login/login.ftl
themes/[themeName]/login/login-reset-password.ftl
themes/[themeName]/login/template.ftl
themes/[themeName]/login/template.html
themes/[themeName]/login/theme.properties
themes/[themeName]/login/messages/messages_de.properties
themes/[themeName]/login/messages/messages_en.properties
themes/[themeName]/login/resources/[...]
The contents of keycloak-themes.json are
{
"themes": [{
"name" : "[themeName]",
"types": [ "login" ]
}]
}
where [themeName] is my theme name.
Keycloak is running with 3 instances, its resource spec includes:
extensions:
- [URL-to-jar]
Deployment was successful according to the logs of each pod - each log contains a message containing
Deployed "[jar-name].jar" (runtime-name : "[jar-name].jar")
However, in the admin console, I cannot select the theme from the extension for the login-theme. Creating a new realm via crd with a preconfigured login-theme via spec-entry
loginTheme: [themeName]
also does not work - in the admin-console, the selected entry for the login-theme is empty.
I may be missing something basic, but it seems like this ought to work according to this answer if I am not mistaken.
As is so often the case, an uncaught typo was the source of the error.
The directory-structure must not be
META-INF/keycloak-themes.json
themes/[theme-name]/[theme-role]/theme.properties
[...]
But instead
META-INF/keycloak-themes.json
theme/[theme-name]/[theme-role]/theme.properties
[...]
Given a correct structure, keycloak-operator can successfully deploy and load custom-themes as jar-extensions.

Allow jasper server users to create a domain

I would like that some users could create domains on my JasperReports Server (users with role X),
I found a documentation were everything is explaind (doc), it worked in a demo enterprise version of JasperReports
but when I tried the same process on the production JasperReports (LDAP configured), I got this error :
Error creating bean with name 'remoteServiceConfiguration' -> Error creating bean with name 'authenticationAuthoirizationFilterChainProxy' ->
Cannot resolve reference to bean 'filterInvocationInterceptor' while setting constructor argument with key [6] ->
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Unsupported configuration attributes: [L4_IT_DEVS] (my role)
Screen :
Has someone already had this kind of error when configuring domain creation for users ?
I had this problem before and solved by using roles with the prefix "ROLE_" in their names, like "ROLE_L4_IT_DEVS" for example.
Hope that could help !

Error upgrading Jasperreports server from 7.2 to 7.5 (keystore problem)

The upgrade procedure is pretty simple and well documented. I have been upgrading jasperreports server since version 4 always using the same procedure (buildomatic).
Now, in 7.5 version I get
java.lang.RuntimeException: KeystoreManager was never initialized or
there are errors while instantiating the instance.
Failed to instantiate
[com.jaspersoft.jasperserver.crypto.KeystoreManager]: Please make sure
that create-keystore was executed;
Error creating bean with name 'keystoreManager': Invocation of init
method failed;
Error creating bean with name 'passwordEncoder': Unsatisfied
dependency expressed through field 'keystoreManager';
The keystore is in /root folder, as it should.
Have you tried the process mentioned in this link https://community.jaspersoft.com/wiki/encryption-jasperreports-server-75
"If the JasperReports Server cannot find the keystore files - maybe because of permissions as noted above, you will get an exception on server start like:
Failed to instantiate [com.jaspersoft.jasperserver.crypto.KeystoreManager]: Please make sure that create-keystore was executed; nested exception is java.lang.RuntimeException: KeystoreManager was never initialized or there are errors while instantiating the instance.
To fix this, you need to move the keystore files into a directory that is accessible by the user running the web app process. See Updating keystore files below."

Error while deploying Aion dApp through frontend : fs.readFileSync is not a function

I was deploying my java contract to the Mastery network through the frontend by using a MERN stack app and came across the following error while compiling:
Module not found: Error: Can't resolve 'fs' in '/home/parina/Documents/aion-counter/node_modules/aion-web3-eth/src'
To rectify this, I added
node: {
fs: "empty"
},
to my webpack.config.js file.
After this, I was successfully able to compile my project and start the server but on opening the project in the browser, the contract was not deployed and I got the following error in the console:
TypeError: fs.readFileSync is not a function at Contract.deploy (index.js?60f4:244) at _callee$ (Main.js?1523:40) at tryCatch (runtime.js?280d:65) at Generator.invoke [as _invoke] (runtime.js?280d:303) at Generator.prototype.<computed> [as next] (runtime.js?280d:117) at step (Main.js?1523:9) at eval (Main.js?1523:9) at new Promise (<anonymous>) at eval (Main.js?1523:9) at deploy (Main.js?1523:19)
After searching on various forums, I found out that fs is not supposed to be used on the frontend and I was suggested alternatives to it. But it here it is being used by the Aion node modules and not directly and therefore I can’t seem to find the way around it.
As you mentioned since, fs is a server-side module, the file can be uploaded (through react or whatever is the clientside module) to the server and executed server-side and response returned to the client.
So I would suggest to get the encoded byte code of the jar along with the deployment arguments and set the transaction data field to the encoded data.
For example, assuming you are deploying the counter sample contract(https://docs.aion.network/docs/deploy-a-contract#section-example-script):

The issue got resolved here:

Since fs cannot be used on the client-side, I shifted the deployment function in my MERN dApp on the server-side while doing the rest of the interactions on the client-side.

JHipster/Microservices frontend development hot reload

I have created a JHipster microservices application and want to do some frontend development on it. Launching the whole microservices stack in the ./docker-compose/ directory with docker-compose up -d works as expected. Registry shows all microservices, the gateway and an UAA instance with status 'up'. No exceptions thrown. Login to http://localhost:8080 works as expected.
Launching yarn start in the gateway project directory launches the development server via webpack and browsersync. Hot reload works as expected when pointing the browser at http://localhost:9000.
Now to my problem/question: logging into http://localhost:9000 as user/user doesn't work, as the account cannot be retrieved. The thrown exception is irrelevant because it just states that the account is null:
webpack-internal:///…fesm5/core.js:16064 ERROR Error: Uncaught (in promise):
TypeError: Cannot read property 'langKey' of null
TypeError: Cannot read property 'langKey' of null
at LoginService.setPreferredLanguage (webpack-internal:///…
login.service.ts:34)
....
But when I point the browser back to http://localhost:8080, I'm logged in as 'user'. Which means that the login on the backend worked.
Being new to docker and microservices, I'm suspecting that I'm conceptually missing something (networks/ports/etc..). Any ideas that could point to finding a solution? Or what is the suggested setup/practices for developing the frontend in a JHipster/microservices configuration.
There has been an error in the webpack.dev.js configuration file and because UAA was added later to the project, the UAA module was missing in the contexts to be proxies:
devServer: {
contentBase: './build/www',
proxy: [{
context: [

],
