Not able to install python3 on Redhat 8 offline mode

I created an offline repo for RHEL 8:
downloaded all needed packages with dnf download
create repodata with createrepo command
I'm able to install most of the packages in offline mode but python3 can't be installed
The error I'm receiving is:
No available modular metadata for modular package 'python36-3.6.8-2.module+el8.1.0+3334+5cb623d7.x86_64', it cannot be installed on the system
Error: No available modular metadata for modular package
What can I do to fix this?
Regards,
It seems this worked for me: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/567057/download-rpm-and-all-dependencies-on-rhel-centos-8
There are some packages required like: python3-createrepo_c libmodulemd
And Python module: click
It may be that you need Development Tools:
$ sudo yum groupinstall ‘Development Tools’

Installing phpw55-mcrypt on RedHat enterprise 5

Thank you in advance for reading this question,
I am trying to run a Laravel web application on an old RedHat server that is provided by my company. I am getting the error that MCRYPT is not active (it is not installed). When trying to run a yum install php55w-mcrypt yum gives the error
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
php55w-mcrypt-5.5.26-1.w5.x86_64 from webtatic-el5 has depsolv
--> Missing Dependency: libltdl.so.3()(64bit) is needed by p
pt-5.5.26-1.w5.x86_64 (webtatic-el5)
Error: Missing Dependency: libltdl.so.3()(64bit) is needed by
ypt-5.5.26-1.w5.x86_64 (webtatic-el5)
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
I have tried installing the dependency, but I can not seem to find the libltdl.so.
Does anyone know if there is a workaround / does anyone know where to find the library?
Many thanks
I found the required libtools here:
http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=libtool
wget < correct file type for your server >
yum install lib*
rm lib*
Then searched on the same webpage for libltdl.so.3()
wget < correct file type for your server >
yum install lib*
After installing the dependencies the yum install php55w-mcrypt could be installed and laravel worked like a charm!

Redhat Linux 6.5 Perl GD CPAN Module yum

when i try to install "GD" (perl -e shell -MCPAN ->(next step) cpan[1]> install GD) on Redhat 6.5 i got the error:

I tryed to install "libgd 2.0.28 or higher" but don't find this in "yum".
locate libgd (shows):

Does anyone know an advice?
Many perl modules are available already built and packaged for RHEL and derivatives such as CentOS. In the case of perl-GD, it seems it is available in the CentOS in the base repo even though it is not in the RHEL repo.
However you can still use the Centos repo by adding it to your yum configuration. Create a file /etc/yum.repos.d/cantos.repo containing:
[centos]
name=CentOS $releasever - $basearch
baseurl=http://mirror.centos.org/centos-6/6/os/$basearch/
enabled=0
gpgcheck=0
After which you should be able to install perl-GD
yum install --enablerepo centos perl-GD
It looks as though the current version of perl-GD for centos is 2.44.
If you do need a newer version that that, you will either need to find a 3rd party yum repo which has the later version of libgd available, or compile it from source. In a quick google I could not find the former, so I would recommend you download the latest source package and install that.
You need the package gd-devel then rebuild the GD module.

CentOS: RVM and no package libyaml available

I'm trying to install RVM on a CentOS host and it fails with this error:
/usr/local/rvm/rubies/ruby-1.9.3-p194/bin/ruby: error while loading shared libraries: libruby.so.1.9: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Libraries missing for ruby-1.9.3-p194: libruby.so.1.9. Refer to your system manual for installing libraries
Mounting remote ruby failed, trying to compile.
After some Googling it seems I need to manually install the libyaml package, to which the host says:
No package libyaml available.
Any ideas?
Try installing this using RVM :
rvm pkg install libyaml
It works on my CENTOS 6.3 VPS.
with the latest rvm (run rvm get head), libyaml is automatically fetched when installing Ruby (well, at least on 1.9.3).
You'll see if it has been installed by inspecting /usr/local as that's where rvm puts it...
I've managed to solve it by piecing together others' attempts. I followed these instructions, and despite getting an error that read:
Error running 'autoreconf -is --force', please read /usr/local/rvm/log/ruby-1.9.2-p320/yaml/autoreconf.log
I managed to install both the rake gem and the rails gem.

MongoDB Install Error

Just setup a fresh server at MediaTemple (dedicated virtual / CentOS Linux) and installed the developer tools, but Mongo won't install, any ideas?
Also, it's trying to DL version 1.2.10 I assume I can run pecl upgrade mongo once it is installed to go to 2.0.6 right?
Here's my output:

You're not installing mongodb with pecl, here you're installing the PHP driver for mongodb.
To install mongodb on CentOS, please follow these instructions here. These instructions show you how to add the 10gen repo, which will then enable you (using yum) to install the latest production-ready mongodb release (2.0.6).
I realise that it's not Ubuntu but egarding your issue with installing the PHP driver, does it make any difference if you run
sudo pecl install mongo
There's some information here on installing the mongo php driver, just replace the 'apt-get' elements with 'yum' as the same libraries, dependencies apply afaik.
Here's a tutorial on using the mongo php driver.
