Seeing Facebook page through a test user - facebook

I want to integrate a Facebook page to ServiceNow.
I created a page with my personal account and an app on developers.facebook.com to extend my access token for 60 days. I made the REST connection successfully and was able to pull the posts and comments on that page into the database of the ServiceNow table.
Subsequently, my profile was blocked for a couple of days and I was informed the app that I made was violating certain Facebook policies. But after submitting the ID, it got reactivated. Then I made some test users so that I could comment on any post of that page to check if that comes into the ITSM database.
However, when I login through a test user, I cannot see the Facebook page associated with my personal Facebook profile.
I need to know how can I see posts of my page through a test user and comment on them. Do I need to provide any specific role to the test user for the same?

How to link Facebook Page to Instagram page using a test user?

I am currently using a test user (created the facebook devs panel), to set up a fb page, that i need to link to another Instagram Business page.
I already created a fake ig business account using this test user. The proble is that every time i go to the fb business panel to link the other ig account i get this this error.
I need this because i have to go throw the App Review in order to get the permissions that i need for my app, in order to get aproved facebook tells you to record yourself with a test user doing all the app process. But i can´t do this if the test user doesnt have a IG Business account linked to it.

How does one add "integration flow for an end user to connect their Instagram business account(s)" - FB Graph API (For IG) question

We have a simple app that summarizes the total number of mentions your instagram account gets using the IG-User/tags endpoint on the graph api (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/instagram-api/reference/user/tags/)
The pre-requisite of the app is the user has their fb account linked to their IG - Business or IG - Creator account.
Unfortunately every time we've submitted it for review so far it has come back with the same comment from FB:
"Although we were able to login to your app using the Facebook Login authentication, we were unable to test the steps to connect an Instagram business account. As a result, you'll need to implement an integration flow for an end user to connect their Instagram business account(s)"
Now as I understand it there is no way I can get the user to link their IG account to FB or to a FB page using the API. The "link account" action is purely handled using the Instagram app. Or am I missing something here.
Well after 3 weeks of back and forth with multiple seemingly segmented facebook support teams I have been able to get this permission from them.
Turns out that there's an unexplained flow here:
This is verbatim from the information I received from their chat support (but is not found anywhere in the documentation)
"You have needed to provide Test Users on your App Dashboard, grant the test user the Instagram_manage_comments permission and then provide us with the login details. We would then link that to an internal Instagram Business Account."(sic)
The part where they link an internal business account to the test user happens on their end and outside the scope of the app. I confirmed this and even then I failed the review multiple times because apparently the steps to approve IG business permissions have not been standardized yet and sometimes the approver simply doesn't know what needs to be done. It's a strange state of affairs and the answer it seems is to just keep pushing.
I'm having the same problem and looking forward to see some comments to your post since the first day. But I started to think it will never come.
I believe they want a new user to start with minimum permissions (which is the email permission) and add other permission only as they are needed. This requires a mechanism in your app that guide a new user logged in with only email permission to give other permissions (e.g. taping a button that opens up user’s IG business account needs instagram_basic and manage_pages permissions. Or taping “post comment” button needs manage_comments permission.) So your app should open up a window that the user can give permissions when any of these events fires. (or when user decides to take permission(s) back)
This is what I understand from “steps to connect an Instagram business account”.
But I am not sure if my understanding is correct. I would definitely like to hear if you found any solutions.
I'm also having the same problem as you as I'm developing similar service to IGBlade (https://igblade.com) & Social Blade (https://socialblade.com).
I'm beginning the wonder if I should change my app review request so that I would inform Facebook that the permissions my app is requesting work serverside and therefore there's no need to implement an integration flow for an end user to connect their Instagram business account(s) to my app.
Any thoughts?
Here is what I have done to get the approval
Create a Facebook test user with correct permissions
Log in with this user
Create a Facebook Page
Edit settings on Facebook Page and add Instagram Business account (personal one)
Submit Facebook review with both credentials (Facebook test user + personal Instagram user).
Wait for review and do not forget to change your personal Instagram user password after the review.

Facebook App Review - How to allow FB reviewer to test manage_pages permission?

I have an app that allows users of a (basically)WordPress site to share their posts to their Facebook business page (not user feed). Everything works great, I just have to submit the app to FB for review because I need the manage_pages and publish_pages permissions. How do I allow the Facebook reviewer to test this functionality when they need to have permissions attached to a FB page to be able to share a post to it?
I have created a login on my site for the reviewer. I have also created a test user on the app that the FB reviewer will be able to use, and I have used that test user to created a test page but the page is not accessible by my app or by any other user. The test page is set to Public. As I understand from what I've read in the FB docs, content by a test user (I'm assuming an FB business page qualifies as "content") is only visible to other test users. How can I set this up for FB to be able to review this?
As pointed out by CBroe, Facebook testers have their own pages with which to test permissions like this. I was over-worrying.

Facebook API authorization - one login, multiple domains

Our application runs multiple sites for multiple customers. One service we offer is to write and post social media for our customers. We also allow the customers to do posts themselves through the application admin.
In order to facilitate the non-automated posts for customers, one of our users has access to the pages of many customers through her Facebook login.
The problem comes if she uses our application to generate an auth token through the admin area of the customer's site.
The application sends its own appID and secret key to Facebook, and the user receives the Facebook login page.
However, she used to be able to choose which page/customer she wished to log in to. Now, once the login data is submitted, Facebook immediately sends a token back to the "return URL." There's no opportunity to choose which Facebook page the auth is for.
The token appears to be linked to the user's "main" page (which is a page of ours).
Obviously, we need to be able to say "I'm logging in to Facebook page X of the many pages I'm authorized for."
Just to be clear: this is not an issue regarding authorization for our application in general. It's the specific case when the Facebook login is attached to multiple pages.
Can anyone give me some advice, please, even if it's just a link to an appropriate spot in the API docs? I've had no luck searching them.
Thanks,
Tom
Edit: First, to the question about "multiple domains": perhaps I shouldn't have put that in the title, since it's not relevant to Facebook per sé,
We host many clients who obviously have many domains. They administer their site content through a CMS which can, among other things, work with Facebook. A client often has a Facebook page; so for us at least, there is often a one-to-one correspondence between a client's site/domain and her/his Facebook page.
When someone goes through the process in question, s/he is administering the site, but may be attempting to post to a Facebook page. And one of our in-house admins has access to many clients' Facebook pages.
So let me rephrase: the admin logs in to a client's site. She attempts to authorize our application to post to that client's page. Our application sends its id/key data to Facebook, and she is taken to the login page.
The question is, how do we let Facebook know that we are seeking authorization to post to one of the many accounts/pages she can access?
Thanks for the help.
As pointed out by CBroe in the comment, if you want to post as a page, you need to have a page access token of the page that you admin. Once you have granted manage_pages permission to the app, you can call the /me/accounts edge to get the list of all pages that you admin and their access tokens.
You can then use the page access token of the page to post on behalf of the page. Note: You will need publish_pages permission in addition to be able to post on behalf of the page. Permissions are documented here.

No access token facebook application authentication

I'd like to show my facebook wall posts on my website.
So i don't want to authenticate users with a dialog, to grant them some rights, i just want to show him my wall with comments (no ability to add comment just read only access).
As i know there isn't unexpired tokens now so is it possible to access just my data without requesting token every time it expires?
I'm using asp.net mvc but i think this sultion doesn't depend at platform at all.
You should:
Make your Facebook Posts public
Call the API endpoint: https://graph.facebook.com/{your_id}/feed?access_token={app_access_token} with your user_id and valid application access_token
Show the results on your website.
The App Access Token doesn't expire so you won't have a problem. As long as the posts are public, the API will be able to pick them up. In theory, your posts should be public anyway so anonymous users can see this.
This also gives you the ability to share stuff privately and not have it show up on your website.
