i wish to run a job every 30 mins from 2100 till 0600 next day.
when i place the condition in jil for the job as below and try to upload
start_times: "21:00,21:30,22:00,22:30,23:00,23:30,00:00,00:30,01:00,01:30,02:00,02:30,03:00,03:30,04:00,04:30,05:00,05:30,06:00"
i get an error
start_times exceeds 255 bytes.

I think it will work like Piyush said. I would probably put it like this:
run_window: "21:00-06:00"
start_mins: "0,30"
If I remember correctly, you can also use the ":"
start_mins: ":0,:30"
check if :30 works, if not, try like Piyush suggested

run_window: "21:00-06:00"
start_mins: "0,30"
this was working , tested well

How do I make `mmm` omit the time-consuming doc build steps?

Working with the source code from AOSP, after I make a trivial change to a
source file under frameworks/base/core/java/android/,
mmm frameworks/base -j9 takes about 4 minutes.
A large portion of that time seems to be waiting for steps with names containing "Droiddoc" or "Docs droiddoc" to complete:

I really don't need or want any documentation to be built on every little incremental recompile.
Is there a way to omit all these doc-related steps?
I'd be interested in either a command line flag if there is one,
or a hopefully simple hack to one or more Makefiles and/or .mk files.
I've looked through the .mk files; in particular build/make/core/droiddoc.mk
seems relevant. I tried cutting some wires in it without really understanding what I was doing, without success.
I'm hoping someone who understands how these .mk files are put together
will know how to do this easily.
I expect this will be of interest to anyone who runs mmm frequently.
During make or mmm invocations, there are apparently two different kinds of build steps that build docs.
Each must be dealt with in its own way.
The build steps that have "Docs droiddoc" in their progress messages. That string comes from build/make/core/droiddoc.mk.
I was able to suppress these build steps as follows: delete all lines from build/make/core/droiddoc.mk, so it becomes an empty file.
The build steps that have "Droiddoc" in their progress messages. That string comes from build/soong/java/droiddoc.go.
I was able to suppress these build steps as follows: delete or comment out the last two blocks in the calling file build/soong/java/androidmk.go:
func (jd *Javadoc) AndroidMk() android.AndroidMkData {

}
func (ddoc *Droiddoc) AndroidMk() android.AndroidMkData {
...
}
I confirmed that it's no longer spending time building docs, on Darwin, by keeping an eye on the Activity Monitor during the build,
and verifying that javadoc processes no longer appear.
With docs omitted, mmm frameworks/base -j9 after a small code change now takes 45 to 55 seconds, instead of 4 minutes.

Sahi scripting wait or time delay

I was wondering if someone could help me. I want to introduce a 10 minute wait or time delay within my sahi script.
Can someone confirm the correct command to use?

Just have a look at the docs, the command you are looking for is _wait

Write _wait(parameter); where parameter is your the time in milli-seconds you want to introduce the delay for.
In your case try _wait(600000);
You can also use the setSpeed(parameter); API , in this case Sahi will wait for the time specified in milli-seconds as a parameter , after each task in the script. But I guess waiting 10 mins after each task is not your requirement.
You can use this method:
_wait($timeout, [$condition])
here $timeout is the duration you want to wait for. And $Condition is something that you can customize based on what condition you want to wait for.
Or you can just use the overloaded method _wait($timeout) if you want to wait for a specific duration.
You can also apply a conditional wait:
_wait(timeOut, _isVisible($element));
This will either wait till "timeOut" milliseconds, or till $element is visible. (whichever condition is satisfied earlier)

How to call the controller task on each 1 min interval

I have created task on controller and there is loop which is loading for 100 times.
Now I want to load it for 25 times and pause that loop for 1 min and after that it will execute next 25 items same for next 25.
I have checked it with sleep but its not working.
Can you please advise me if is there any way on plugin event or any other method.

This is actually unrelated to Joomla! Since you're creating a long running process you need to start it with something else than a browser. A CRON job is a good idea here if you want to execute this operation multiple times. Otherwise it can run via command line. Make sure the max_execution time setting of PHP does not cause any trouble.

How to get NetLogo to run a function every 30 minutes

I'm trying to get NetLogo to run a function every 30 minutes. Can anyone suggest how to do this? Thanks.
The structure of go looks like this:

get-data (run every 30 mins)
execute-and-return-decision-based-on-the-data-just-retrieved
end
Check out every. It makes sure the given command block runs at most once per time period. Anyway, if your go is being run by a forever button, then this should work:
to go
every 30 * 60 [
get-data
execute-and-return-decision-based-on-the-data-just-retrieved

Quartz.Net - delay a simple trigger to start

I have a few jobs setup in Quartz to run at set intervals. The problem is though that when the service starts it tries to start all the jobs at once... is there a way to add a delay to each job using the .xml config?
Here are 2 job trigger examples:

As you see there are 2 triggers, the first repeats every day, the next repeats twice a day.
My issue is that I want either the first or second job to start a few minutes after the other... (because they are both in the end, accessing the same API and I don't want to overload the request)
Is there a repeat-delay or priority property? I can't find any documentation saying so..
I know you are doing this via XML but in code you can set the StartTimeUtc to delay say 30 seconds like this...
trigger.StartTimeUtc = DateTime.UtcNow.AddSeconds(30);
This isn't exactly a perfect answer for your XML file - but via code you can use the StartAt extension method when building your trigger.

You've probably already seen this by now, but it's possible to chain jobs, though it's not supported out of the box.
