Eclipse: Native proxy setting goes missing, breaking network connectivity - eclipse

For no discernible reason, the native proxy provider (see pic) of my Eclipse (Photon 4.8) sometimes goes missing. This results in Eclipse no longer having internet access. I have not found a way to add this provider again except restarting Eclipse.
My main two questions are: Can I add this provider again once it goes missing? What could be the reason why it vanishes in the first place?

At the bottom of the Network Connections dialog, you should see a Restore Defaults button. For most cases, that should suffice.

This problem occurs when using some photon versions. I had the same problem, but I downgrade version and everything was fine. There is a reporting bug in Click bugzilla.
If this problem persists, report your case. Nothing can be done to fix the problem at runtime.

Publish to Glassfish server stucks at 15% and all the other progresses are blocked

When I try to run a project (Only this project and others work fine), it always stucks at the publishing(copy and paste point). It can work perfectly fine until one time I(not sure) accidentally click incrementally publish and then stop it forcefully. Then this problem persists. I try to clean the server and also try to empty the domain folder but none of them works. It is like very strange bug.
I don't want to try creating a new domain since I have add JAAS configuration and JNDI in this domain. Or can anyone tell me how to import the configuration into a new domain?
If I wait long time for it to finish, random problem occurs:
The problem is other project can be run in debug and this project also can previously. It is all just out of sudden when I forcefully stop some process in eclipse tho I am not sure whether it is because of.
This is so annoying and can anyone give some constructive advice? Thx a lot!
Anyone encountering similar situation and sharing his/her experience here will be appreciated. It does not have to be exactly same and any lead or hint are welcome, please.
Actually, I think it is definitely an eclipse bug.
Creating a new workspace and importing all the related projects and glassfish servers can solve the problems though I don't know the actual reason.

SoapUI Eclipse Plugin Freezes

I'm using soapUI eclipse plugin.
I open soapUI Navigator and create a new project. On the new project screen, I choose the location of the wsdl to generate test cases from.
After I click 'OK', the plugin starts loading the definitions. This is when it freezes.
I wasn't able to find any thing on the internet besides this 3 year old bug (which is the exact same issue I'm having, you can also see the screen shot of it): http://sourceforge.net/p/soapui/bugs/522/
Does any one know any information regarding what causes it, is there a way around, etc.
I'm inside a corporate network, can access internet fine, but there are firewall restrictions etc.
I use eclipse Soupui plugin version 4.0.1 and it works fine.

How to avoid Eclipse blocking keyboard shortcuts

I installed a plugin that allowed me to create UML diagram from my code. Everything was working fine until I found that now all keyboard shortcuts (like CTRL-X, CTRL-Z, CTRL-SPACE, CTRL-SHIFT-F,..) except for CTRL-C and CTRL-V now require a click on a small square that appear on the bottom right corner. And this is required every single time.
This are few examples of the square that appears:
If I click on the message or press Enter I can access the functionality. Does anyone know how to get rid of this annoying thing or at least reset Eclipse related configurations?
Thanks in advance
EDIT:
I obviously tried uninstalling the plugin but nothing changed.
Try Window / Reset Perspective as the duplicate shortcuts may be still in the perspective.
Also try restart specifying -clean option to rebuild the workspace metadata.
The pop-ups you are seeing are the "keybinding conflict" popups. These are common when you have two different plugins defining the same keybinding and looks like these. Still in your case there's only one option to choose from and it definitely looks like a bug.
In the Eclipse bugtracker database there are two issues that are looking like the one you have: #377048 and #374942.
These issues are marked as fixed in 4.2-I20120410-0633. So if you are having Eclipse 4.2 without any service releases installed, you would probably have this. The solution is - to use a newer Eclipse version. Eclipse 4.3.1 is available to download since today, and it should contain a lot of other fixes since 4.2. So I encourage you to install it.
The other solution could be to try playing with keybinding dialog (Window->Preferences->General->Keys) and trying to unbind and re-bind the commands that you are having issues with.

Umbraco - Unable to navigate to sections other than Content after upgrade to 4.5.2

I've tried posting this on the Umbraco forums to no avail. Hoping to find some help here.
I thought I upgraded successfully from 4.0.4.2 to 4.5.2 (on my way to 4.8...) as I received no errors and everything seemed to go smoothly. However, in the backoffice, when I click on any section other than Content, I get redirected back to Content. I can manually reach each section by typing in the name of it after the # sign like: #media, but as soon as I click on a tree item, it redirects me back to Content. Any ideas would be appreciated.

You're cacheing some of the old javascript in your browser. Try clearing your cache. IE can be stubborn in this regard; preferably try in Chrome.
Personally, if your site is working under 4.5.2, I wouldn't sweat the back office issue and just continue with the upgrade to 4.8.1. There will likely be new problems to solve there anyway :) and the backoffice issue may go away.
Updating the icons via the following script fixed this problem. Links must run off the appIcon field. Not sure why this is not executed when the database is updated via the 4.5.2 upgrade.
update umbracoApp
set appIcon = '.tray' + appAlias
where appAlias IN ('content','media','users','settings','developer','member')

Can we set a timeout for the Eclipse function hint list?

is it possible to set a timeout for the Eclipse function hint list?
Waiting for the full function list to load simply pisses me off...:(
First, you can trigger the content assist immediately by hitting Ctrl-Space.
Second, you can set the delay under Window->Preferences->Java->Editor->Content Assist->Auto-Activation. Non-Java editors may have separate settings. You can type search terms on top of the prefence window to see all related settings.
I would like to add on this by pointing out that I was facing the same kind of issue in Eclipse Mars Version 4.5.0 M1.
I got this error :
I managed to solve it by disabling the following setting "Code Recommenders proposals" from Window\preferences\Java\Editor\Content Assist\Advanced
Disable it from both Default proposal kind and Content cycling . Restart eclipse , and the error is gone.
I don't know why this happens, or what the addon does. Maybe someone can elaborate on it.
