I have a shopify store that is loading unwanted Facebook Pixels, probably installed in my store by old apps.
The problem is I want my store without any pixel, I have removed my pixel from the Online Store > Preferences and checked most of my liquid files for pixel codes and I have found nothing.
But the Facebook Pixel Helper still says my store has 2 facebook pixel installed. I dont know how to remove them, since I cant find them,
My store link
I appreciate any help from you. Thanks in advance.
I already had this problem, the support of Shopify had finally found that this pixel was injected by mailchimp

Is it possible to programmatically get access to the icon of other apps installed on an iPhone?
For example: if I need Instagram's icon, is it possible to display it in my app by accessing the icon in the Instagram bundle?
You're not allowed to access anything in other app bundles, but you can find the icons on the web if you know the URL. The icon images are in the app store page, which can be reached by (for example) here. The URL is subject to change, so saving a copy to your own app bundle would be the best way to ensure access to them.

No you have to find the icon if you want to use it.
Nevertheless, you have an instagram-sdk for iOs. Maybe you should look at this.
You'll need to get the icon somewhere else. If it's specifically Instagram you can get it from their SDK, but for the mostpart, you'll need to find it on your own.
As far as I know you'll have to keep a set of icons in your own app, which you can show to the user at a certain point. But I'm sure you cannot access the icon of an app installed on the phone like that!
I have integrated sharekit in my iPhone Application. My app used to be around 1.5MB and all of a sudden it became 6.3 MB after integrating sharekit. And I am using only Twitter and Facebook Sharing. Is there a way to Reduce the size of my app?.or is there any other way for sharing?
My Deployment Target is 4.3
ShareKit contains Delicious,DiigoEvernote,Facebook,Flickr,FoursquareV2,Google Reader,Instapaper,LinkedIn,Pinboard,Read It Later,Readability,Tumblr,Twitter,Vkontakte sharing files...
If You are using only FaceBook and Twitter, then delete the remaining files...
Also you can use ImageOptim to reduce the file size of your images. Just download, open and drag and drop a folder or all your images onto the interface.

There is even a case study on how well this tool can be used to shrink your iOS-Apps:

Additionally I would delete the ShareKit components you do not need.
I would prefer it this way instead of having dependency on share kit. you can go for DETwitterEngine for twitter and facebook framework for facebook.
I'm finishing up an iPhone app. I'm using an external server to inform users of when an update is available for my app and allowing them to click from within the app to go straight to the update on the app store. Problem is, I can't seem to figure out the link format to go directly to the update. I've found an old method of using viewsoftwareUpdate (mentioned in another post here) but it's all related to outdated phobos links and I can't seem to get it working for me. I'm currently using the simple format to link directly to the app: itms-apps://itunes.com/apps/"appname", and I assume there is a way to alter this format to get to the app update instead of the main app page?
This seems like a pretty basic functionality so I'm surprised I can't find anything on it.
Also, does anybody know how to link directly to the users own update tab in the app store? Not specific to one app, but the update tab that shows all the updates they have available for download.
Turns out the phobos links do still work and you can link directly to the update page using this URL format:
itms-apps://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftwareUpdate?id=[APPID]&mt=8
Of course replacing the [APPID] with your own app id, not including the brackets. This will link directly to the latest update for the app, instead of the main app page.
[Note: the solution was posted in with the question, I just moved it here --progrmr]
Just link to your app in the app store, that link will never change.
The page will show the updates right above the screenshots.
Your best bet is to strip the update information from your apps page using JSON, or some XML parser.
As for the list of all updates, again, Apple compares versions of the installed apps and lists them accordingly, stripping out only the update information.
The phobos link did not work for me so I used the following link and it works great:
itms-apps://ax.itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftwareUpdate?id=[APPID]&mt=8
I am creating few native apps for Blackberry, Android and Iphone. And I am also planning to publish those on their respective app-stores. I have my own website to promote those apps.
The information that i need to know is, Is it possible to pull the statistics about my apps from the app stores and show that on my website.
Is there any API's or something else there to show that..
(statistics == no. of times downloaded, viewed, purchased etc..)
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
I haven't used it in quite a while, but there's an existing open source project for interfacing with the Marketplace info:
http://code.google.com/p/android-market-api/
That just gives you access to the same stats as you would see in the Marketplace app on a device though, not exact download numbers.
I'm currently building a social networking site using the codeIgniter PHP framework. One of our major focuses of this site is to be able to upload images through the use of smartphones. We were focusing on building for the iPhone, but the iPhone doesn't let you upload files for some reason beyond me. I have been looking through solutions for days seeing if we could somehow integrate an iPhone app and have come up with nothing. The only thing I have found is using Cocoa Xcode in Objective C to somehow get around the fact. Now I don't know anything about objective C and I was wondering if I could somehow integrate a snippet of objective C into my PHP to allow users to upload photos off their iPhone and onto our site.
Is this possible? If so how? If not, does anyone know another work around?
You can avoid having to code an iPhone app by allowing images to be submitted by email. This is one of the ways Posterous works. I'm pretty sure that there's no other way to access the photo library outside of building your own app in Objective-C.
It seems that you would actually have to create an iPhone application doing the job for you. Check this article on how such application would be done in Objective C on the iPhone.
As an alternative, you could try third party tools like e.g. Image Upload
If I have understood ur problem, u are finding a way in what manner u should send the image with ur request to ur php.
If this is ur problem, the I suggest u to first convert the image into Base64Encoded data and send it with ur request. Now php do have inbuilt methods to convert this data to an image.
Try looking for Base64Encoding help for php.
Thanks,
Madhup
This is the very reason why social platforms have their Apps on the App Store and not just simply the Wap Sites. So either you can have email attachments, or write an app which uploads the images, and a controller which manages those uploads.
