pgAdmin 4 error in creating a new server. (could not connect to server: connection refused)

I have downloaded postgreSQL version 11.1 on my MacBook version 10.14.2, while installing I got an error says the following:
" Problem running post-install step. Installation may not complete correctly The database cluster initialization failed." and then clicked on next. (Mentioned this, just in case if it is related to my problem)
The problem I have now is, I can't view anything under servers, and whenever I try to create a new server it shows me this message.

I'm new to this and don't know what to do, any idea what should be done?

Postgresql Service stopped running

I am running PostgreSQL v9.6 on windows 10. Today I tried using a program that uses PostgreSQL Databases and couldn't connect to it. I went to the Services menu in Computer Management and noticed PostgreSQL wasn't running. I tried to run it and received
When I goto PGAdmin4 both Databases are still running however.

PostgreSQL connection issue

I am new to PostgreSQL and I am trying to create a connection but I don't know for some reason my connection is not being established.
At first it said that cant hear the server so whenever I go in to task manager and try to run Postgres servers it says "THE SYSTEM CAN NOT FIND THE FILE SPECIFIED" so I tried to remove Postgres completely from the system but it not completely uninstalling it from my laptop. I think its just remaining some instances in to my laptop which is not letting it to uninstall completely.
please find the IMAGE here -> click here
I have attached the image above. Please see that. I have deleted every Postgress thing from my laptop but I think there is still some left in the laptop that is why it is showing this in the services.

pgadmin4 command keep running and process watcher won't go away

I was trying to follow the instructions from postgresqltutorial to load a sample database into postgresql using pgadmin. But after the database was restored(since I can query data from the database), the process watcher just won't go away, and it keeps saying that the command is "running"(as of this writing, it has been running for over 400 thousands seconds, but the size of the sample database is just a few megabytes). Reboot and reinstallation couldn't fix the problem.
Here are some screen shots:
And when I click "click here for details":
I am using postgresql 9.6 with pgadmin4 on windows 10. So what's going on here? Is it a bug? How can I get rid of the process watcher?
I had the same issue with posgresql 9.5 and pgAdmin4 on Windows 7. I solved it without loosing server list by opening %APPDATA%\pgAdmin\pgadmin4.db file with SQLite Manager (Firefox Add-on) and deleting all entries from the 'process' table.
This is a bug in pgAdmin4 & reported,
https://redmine.postgresql.org/issues/1679
close pgAdmin, restart the system, open %APPDATA% and erase the folder pgAdmin and the pgAdmin is Ready to start without errors.

Can't connect to postgresql server installed locally on my machine

I have installed the DSP(Dreamfactory Service Platform) locally on my Mac Book Pro using Bitnani.
I have a PostGreSQL server running locally on my Macbook, which I want to connect to using the DSP.
I am successfully able to connect to my PostGreSQL server from other applications, which essentially means that there is no problem with the setup.
However, on trying to connect the same from DSP I get the error:- "Failed to launch service "sql": CDbConnection failed to open the DB connection."
My connection string is :- "pgsql:host=localhost;dbname=Pinu"
Also, the password has been correctly entered.
The port is default as 5432. Whether or not I enter the same in the connection string, the connection always fails.
Even though I am trying to add the service as Remote SQL DB, I know that it's actually on the same local host. Not sure if that is the issue.
I also tried entering - 127.0.0.1 in place of localhost, but still I see the same issue.
Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated!
After talking to you via email, it looks like the root issue here is that you haven't successfully upgraded your DSP to the latest version. We are releasing DreamFactory version 1.8 on Bitnami tomorrow, so you should upgrade to the latest version.
As far as your PostgreSQL issue let's explore some options:
1) Connection strings:
a) pgsql:host=localhost;dbname=Pinu
b)
pgsql:host=localhost:5432;dbname-Pinu
c)
pgsql:host=localhost;port=5432;dbname=Pinu
2) If these don't work, try substituting your localhost with
127.0.0.1 (as you've tried previously, but test this in all scenarios).
3)
pgsql:host=localhost;port=5432;dbname=series1;schema=schema_name_here
Typically, Option A should work without a problem.
Give these a try if you would, and if you need some help upgrading then reach out to me again via email.
