I am new to PostgreSQL and I am trying to create a connection but I don't know for some reason my connection is not being established.
At first it said that cant hear the server so whenever I go in to task manager and try to run Postgres servers it says "THE SYSTEM CAN NOT FIND THE FILE SPECIFIED" so I tried to remove Postgres completely from the system but it not completely uninstalling it from my laptop. I think its just remaining some instances in to my laptop which is not letting it to uninstall completely.
please find the IMAGE here -> click here
I have attached the image above. Please see that. I have deleted every Postgress thing from my laptop but I think there is still some left in the laptop that is why it is showing this in the services.

I have just downloaded postgres and set everything up as per installation guide. I can connect to the db on the command prompt without any errors. When I use the pgadmin application I get many errors when clicking into any databases(the standard and any new ones created)
I have screenshots below. Could someone point me in the right direction. I have completely uninstalled postgres several times and has not fixed the problem.
In case you cant access image:
10:03:06:Error:Error rel.relhasoid does not exist
10:05:05: Error: column "prosiagg" doe not exist
I get a few more errors along those lines.
Thanks in advance
I have downloaded postgreSQL version 11.1 on my MacBook version 10.14.2, while installing I got an error says the following:
" Problem running post-install step. Installation may not complete correctly The database cluster initialization failed." and then clicked on next. (Mentioned this, just in case if it is related to my problem)
The problem I have now is, I can't view anything under servers, and whenever I try to create a new server it shows me this message.

I'm new to this and don't know what to do, any idea what should be done?
After Installing Postgresql, when I open pgadmin 4, It shows " The application server cannot be started" error.
I tried all ways by reinstalling postgresql and delete the pgadmin folder from appdata\Roaming.
Even I cant restart the service, It automatically stop once I started and stop the service from task manager also and also changes the port number. Its not working.. I am struck.. Please help me to solve the issue.
I was trying to follow the instructions from postgresqltutorial to load a sample database into postgresql using pgadmin. But after the database was restored(since I can query data from the database), the process watcher just won't go away, and it keeps saying that the command is "running"(as of this writing, it has been running for over 400 thousands seconds, but the size of the sample database is just a few megabytes). Reboot and reinstallation couldn't fix the problem.
Here are some screen shots:
And when I click "click here for details":
I am using postgresql 9.6 with pgadmin4 on windows 10. So what's going on here? Is it a bug? How can I get rid of the process watcher?
I had the same issue with posgresql 9.5 and pgAdmin4 on Windows 7. I solved it without loosing server list by opening %APPDATA%\pgAdmin\pgadmin4.db file with SQLite Manager (Firefox Add-on) and deleting all entries from the 'process' table.
This is a bug in pgAdmin4 & reported,
https://redmine.postgresql.org/issues/1679
close pgAdmin, restart the system, open %APPDATA% and erase the folder pgAdmin and the pgAdmin is Ready to start without errors.
Greetings
How long does it takes before pgAdmin III wake up after "Restoring previous environment..."? I was able to connect within 5-10 seconds but today it takes more than 15 minutes, after I double click on previously stored connection in object inspector. I did nothing with server, but my associate says he added new test database today, and tried to restore there one of previously stored databases. I have a Java application and it able to connect. I find some old info about similar issue but not find any helpful solution. What can I do to connect through pgAdmin? Just wait?
