I have downloaded the QAF Maven project and imported into Eclipse. I have created BDD test case for one of the RESTFull service and I am able to run it as TestNG Test. I see the result folder created with the date and timestamp created under test-results folder. When I try to refresh the Dashboard.html I don't see any results and it’s empty.
Please let me know if I have to update my POM or any other property file.
Try opening dashboard.htm in firefox.
You need to open local dashboard.htm in Firfox (prefered), Edge or Safari. If you are opening in chrome you need to set allow file access from file. If dashboard.htm served through http server, for example jenkins then you can open in any browser.

I am writing a plugin fragment named JunitGenerationFragment. I can test it using Launch an Eclipse application, and everything works fine.
I try to export using the 3 steps on the Exporting section of the manifest's Overview tab. When using the Export Wizard, I choose to install into a particular directory.
I get a Problems Occurred dialog that says "Could not find the exported unit with id..."
As far as I can tell, the directories have the appropriate content.
However, if I try to install from that site, "There are no items available".
How can I successfully make this plugin fragment available from the export repository?
Possibly there was some kind of file system problem? Additional attempts to export the repository to the C:\Tools\Eclipse\workspace2019-06\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.pde.core\install directory failed. However, I could export to another directory.
Later, I renamed the original C:\Tools\Eclipse\workspace2019-06\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.pde.core\install directory to something else and retried an export to C:\Tools\Eclipse\workspace2019-06\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.pde.core\install. This time it succeeded, and I could load the plugin from that repository.
Update: The renaming "solution" does not seem to be repeatable. A repeat attempt to use the Export Wizard to exprort to C:\Tools\Eclipse\workspace2019-06\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.pde.core\install fails, as in the original problem description. Renaming the directory again did not help.
I have an application that I'm trying to publish to my website. The error I'm getting is that when done publishing, it says:
So it looks like it succeeded, but didn't.
My website is located at www.mywebsite.com.
In my build properties, under the publish tab, I click options->deployment, then set deployment webpage title to 'rdl', then I check automatically generate deployment webpage after every publish
I then go through the Publish Wizard:
Specify the location to publish this application: ftp://www.mywebsite.com/
Click next.
Check From a website: Specify the url: http://www.mywebsite.com/
Check Yes, this application will be available online or offline
The final page then states:
The application will be published to:
ftp://www.mywebsite.com/
Users will launch this application from:
http://www.mywebsite.com/
Click Finish
I am then left with the error described in the image above.
When I go to cPanel (my web host), I am able to see the Application Files folder which includes my application folder inside it.My .deploy and .application file are also located there along with any assets I had.
This Application Files folder is on the same level as the public_html folder if that matters.
Any help would be appreciated, I'm not exactly sure where I'm going wrong!
I'm working on a website and right now I am using FileZilla to make changes to it. Every time I make a change, I have to re-upload the file to the website through FTP and then wait for it to update online. I want to just deploy my project to localhost so I can get instant results and then just upload the whole project when it's finished. How do I do this? All I have is a set of directories with the files in them.
You really need to use a web/application server such as IIS/Apache.
For PHP projects go for WampServer/XAMPP.Easy to setup and works very well.

If you are working only static content based on html/css/js you can just edit and view changes directly by opening the local file in your browser and refresh each time.
Furthermore for css and html you can edit your code "live", directly into browser and see changes immidiately.
Another option is to edit files with an editor that supports ftp like notepad++, you can connect via ftp, open and edit files directly from server (like php,html,css,js) because once you save the editor will automatically upload your changes.

Localserver
If you work with php (and even only with html/css) the best choise is to run a local server that rappresents a real environment in which your code will run. As said by others XAMPP is a good choise for begginers because of simple installation and management.

Once installed put your folder inside C:/xampp/htdocs/yourCodeFolder
Run the xampp control panel and start the Apache server.
Finally navigate with your browser to: http://localhost/yourCodeFolder/
When publish a site in local IIS it shows an exception system cannot find the file specified. But same code work fine in debug mode is there any solution for this.
Read the path from web config file.
Check if the missing file is part of your project in the project explorer. If it is not part of your project, then it will not be published, but it nevertheless may work in debug mode, because the file(s) are locally available.
i am just trying to understand the deployment build model with asp.net
i write code locally on my machine in visual studio and when i hit f5, it starts up a local webserver for all my testing.
then, i FTP all of my source code to my webserver and then hit the real URL.
my question is when does this get compiled on the webserver. is it looking at the bin/ directory of my local file that i just copied over or is it recompiling the solution and projects on the web server.
If you just drop source files (.aspx, .asmx, etc.) in the web site's directory and site is set to allow dynamic updating then each page will get compiled the first time it is accessed.
Every time you update it, it gets recompiled. In your bin folder, all you have is classes with code.
