Too many redirects issue in local host (IIS,ColdFusion 2018) - redirect

I am setting up ColdFusion 2018 Application server with IIS 10. But getting too many redirects issue.
I have tried from square one.. Below are the things I did.
Installed CF 2018 developer
Configure IIS (Windows 10) with CF 2018 using wsconfig.
Created a simple “index.cfm” and tried to access. This page contains just cfset and cfoutput.
got 404 error.
updated “enable 32-bit applications” to false in IIS application pool
404 error resolved, but getting “Too Many redirects issue”
enabled developer tools in IE and checked.
getting 302 status code and it seems index.cfm is redirecting to itself.
Not sure what to do now? Is there anything I missed in setting up IIS with CF 2018 server?

You can resolve this error by making sure that the two required components of IIS are installed on your system. Namely:
ISAPI Extensions
IIS Metabase and IIS 6 configuration compatibility.
First, start the program called Windows Features. You will find Windows Features under Control Panel –> Programs and Features.
When the Windows Features starts, navigate through the features hierarchy under Internet Information Services and select the two features:
(a) ISAPI extensions and
(b) IIS Metabase and IIS 6 configuration compatibility.
Configuring IIS for ColdFusion:
You will have to run the Web Server Configuration Tool that comes with ColdFusion to configure IIS so that all .CFM files are mapped to be handled by ColdFusion.
The following text is directly from the ColdFusion installation guide:
1)Start the Web Server Configuration Tool by selecting Start > Programs > Adobe > ColdFusion 9 > Web Server Configuration Tool.
2)Click Add.
3)In the Server pop-up menu, select the host name and the server or cluster name to configure. In the ColdFusion server configuration, the server name is always coldfusion. Clustering support is not available on the server configuration.
Note: The server or cluster does not have to reside on the web server computer.
4)In the Web Server Properties area, select IIS and specify the website. For IIS, you typically specify All.
5)Select the Configure web server for ColdFusion applications option, and click OK.
Note: Omitting the previous step causes your web server to serve ColdFusion source code.
6)Copy the CFIDE and cfdocs directories from cf_root/wwwroot to your web server root directory. In addition, copy your application’s CFM pages from cf_root/wwwroot to your web server root directory. In the multiserver configuration, these files are under the jrun_root/servers/cfusion/cfusion-ear/cfusion-war directory.
if you face too many redirects then just enable 32-bit applications to true.

How to deploy code on Windows Server 2012

(I am very new to deploying in a dedicated server.)
I have access to Windows Server 2012 through as Remote Login.
I have to deploy my html, js files to the server and then access my html page through a URL.
I am not sure where should I keep my files in the server, launch the server and then access my page through a URL.
In my local server in my machine, I kept the files in
C:\inetpub\wwwroot
And I gave access to others to my page through :
http://myIPaddress/mypage.html
Please suggest where should I keep my code and how can I launch the server.
If anyone can point me to a documentation, even that would be great.
Thank you.
First create web app on the server,
then you can choose any destintion folder for the project.
Follow this documentation
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/vstudio/dd394698(v=vs.100).aspx
We need to enable IIS first before deploying our files in Windows Server 2012.
I went through the following document I found in Microsoft website. It was very helpful.

How does CA SiteMinder web agent work with IIS?

Installed SiteMinder web agent(ca-wa-IIS7-12.0-sp3-cr010-win64.exe) in windows server 2008 r2, and IIS version 7.5. There are 2 web sites(A,B) under the IIS server, while the agent only targets to one web site A(select one website during install). I do not have a valid policy server, so input fake IP during configuration of web agent.
Then access A in browser, there is error as expected, but access B in browser, server also returns an error. CA related http modules can be seen registered in A site in IIS. none CA SiteMinder related things in Module or Handler in B site of IIS. so How does CA SiteMinder web agent work with IIS? and is it able to process request event not resisted in IIS? is there a way that only apply SSO to only one website of server with many websites?
That version was buggy. use CR12 if 12.0 SP3 Pollicy Server. If 12.5 or later use the 12.5 or later agent.
that version has the classic 6 embedded and a new module for the new pipline.
this type of question really should be answered with "go take a class, ca has many" because you did not specify a problem and thus there is no real issue to address and assist with.

Word not connecting to WebDAV server

I'm currently implementing the Class 2 WebDAV server on my company's MVC / noSQL web app. I'm developing it locally on my machine using visual studio 2013, IIS 8.5, Windows 8.1 and word 365. The documents are stored in the noSQL database.
I've managed to get it working in the past, however recently word refuses to connect to the WebDAV server. When I click the document link it open word and the following error appears:
{ correct web address} cannot connect to server.
I have used your built in logging tool and fiddler to see if any requests are made to the server and there are none.
Are there any steps or suggestion you can make to help me debug this problem.
After reading the documentation a few times and trial and error I found that word was caching in the registry. I followed the instructions and rebuilt my project and it seems to have worked.
http://www.webdavsystem.com/server/documentation/ms_office_read_only
Clear Microsoft Office WebDAV cache in registry. Microsoft Office reads WebDAV server options when connecting to server first time and stores them for later use. If your server settings has changed during development (or you just fixed some server issues) you may need to delete this settings. The Microsoft Office WebDAV cache is stored under the key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\\Common\Internet\Server Cache\
To clear cache just delete all keys under this key. In a development environment we suggest always clearing the cache if your WebDAV server class has changed or after authentication scheme has changed. As an alternative to deleting cache, you can just reconfigure your server to run on a different port.
Note that in production environment usually you do not need to clear this cache or change port as soon as you server settings do not change often while Microsoft Office will re-request server options after some time.
As soon as your code worked in the past and now stopped working I guess that the trial period, which is 1 month, of IT Hit WebDAV Ajax Library has ended. Are there any errors in the web browser console? To start a new trial period just redownload it here.

Administration console of OpenAM cannot be reached

I have trouble reaching the Administration console of the OpenAM server for a second time after a restart of the JBoss applicationserver on Windows 2008 Server R2 Datacenter.
I deploy OpenAM 9.5.2 (the opensso.war file) in the JBoss-4.2.3GA 'deploy' folder of its default profile.
I point my Internet Explorer 8 browser to: my.test.domain.com:8080/opensso
The page appears to create a Default or Custom Configuration for the OpenAM server
I successfully complete the wizard for creating a Custom Configuration
A pop-up with a 'Proceed to login' link appears after completing the configuration
I click this link and I can access the Admin console
Here is the thing:
When I restart JBoss and try to browse to the Admin console URL manually for a second time:
http://my.test.domain.com:8080/opensso/console
It will instead go to the page again to create a Default or Custom Configuration:
http://my.test.domain.com:8080/opensso/config/options.htm
And therefore I cannot access the Admin console anymore.
Note:
I verified that the URL: my.test.domain.com:8080/opensso/console is correct by opening
a second tab in IE8 before the restart of JBoss.
Been looking at doing this myself - this may provide the solution
https://wikis.forgerock.org/confluence/display/openam/Considerations+when+deploying+on+JBoss+AS+5.1
Indeed that will work. I discovered that you can alternatively add in your run.bat of JBoss:
-Dcom.sun.identity.configuration.directory= your configuration directory

Setup for PHP with FileMaker Server on Windows 7 and Apache Server

I'm trying to get PHP Web Publishing working with FMS 11.0.2.217 on Windows 7 and apache server. I've clicked the link on Filemaker Server Admin Console for PHP. The Filemaker PHP Site Assistant launches, I select Create New Site and enter Test as name and enter server ip and click connect. I receive the following error:
"Publishing engine is not running on the specified server"
Also in the FileMaker Server Admin Console >General Settings it does not hold the "Automatically start web publishing engine" check box after I click it and save. It does accept and hold "Automatically start Database Server"
What am I doing wrong?
Go to this URL in a browser like FireFox that supports XML rendering:
http://yourServerAddress/fmi/xml/FMPXMLRESULT.xml?-dbnames
You should get an XML listing of all of the databases on your server. If you get something else, then your Web Publishing Engine is not installed correctly, or is not running. In that case, I would recommend uninstalling and re-installing the Web Publishing Engine, or call FileMaker tech support.
Also be well aware that FMS does NOT support Apache on Windows.
Just a word of warning with FileMaker server / PHP -- ensure that your web application isn't high concurrent volume or you're going to have problems.
FileMaker Server has a very limited number of concurrent connections and the timeout value on requests makes using FileMaker Server problematic if you have a large number of concurrent sessions.
