Paypal Smart Buttons - Expires Field (yy vs yyyy) - paypal

I just installed Paypal Smart Buttons on my website and to my surprise the Expires field does not get auto filled since it's MM/YY rather than MM/YYYY. I looked through the documentation and found nothing in regards how to change this. Has anyone managed to get around this issue?

I did some research on this and found that if the attribute autocomplete="cc-exp-year" were set on the form field per Chrome's spec, it might make this field auto-complete automatically. I sent this tip PayPal's way for them to investigate as a potential bug/improvement since it'll be best to make this work for everyone.
(There might be a way to make just your browser recognize the field, but that won't help customers)

CAS 5.3 login screen modification with extra field

I am working on apereo CAS 5.3.x, and in my application Login operation expects 3 data elements - username, password and a group code.
I need to add group code combo box. this combo box will get data from the database and at the time of submission need to submit the selected data from combo box also.
I have tried the code from this URL https://apereo.github.io/2019/02/25/cas61-custom-login-fields/ also.
but it is not working.
can anyone help me on this issue?
I have tried the code from this URL https://apereo.github.io/2019/02/25/cas61-custom-login-fields/ also. but it is not working.
The reason it may not be working is that the document quite early on states the following:
Our starting position is based on:
CAS 6.1.x
That doesn't seem like it would match your CAS version, which as you state is 5.3.x.
So for that article to work, you need to be on the appropriate CAS version, and then try it out.
PS When you do, avoid phrases such as "it's not working". "It doesn't work" doesn't work. Please clearly state the problem, the issue, attach logs, describe versions, changes made, etc. This post might share a few points on how to troubleshoot and share results.

Rainloop - How to access DKIM and other header information in the Message View

I have a heavily modified Rainloop install. Figured out a lot of ways to modify it, but having the following issue:
Rainloop shows a DKIM signature indicator (with it's own interpretation) as a green checkmark.
If you hover your mouse pointer over it (when shown), it will show a "tool-tip" of the text in that header.
The problem here is, on mobile you can't "hover", generally speaking. How can I access the header data via JS, or how can I talk to the element for the "tool-tip" for the DKIM header info so I can put a click-listener on the indicator?
It's nice they show it on the mouse-over, but I can't seem to find any way to reference it.
In addition, it would be really grand to show that info in the "info" expandable box.
This is all pertaining to the Message View in Rainloop specifically.
Really nice program. But there is no documentation on their API.
Anyone have ideas on this? I can't seem to get a handle on it through devtools.
If I could just get a solid CSS selector to reference it by that would be grand.
All I seem to be coming up with on searches are similar expressions.
Hoping maybe someone on Stack might have found a clue on this, because DKIM is important, and ordinary users need simple indications as to trust.
This is something to help other people, not just me, so if anyone has a way can you share?
Okay. So right after I posted, I did find it. Not sure how I missed it before, but the dkim results header data can be found in the "dkim icon"'s title attribute-- the "icon" is an tag (rainloop hijacks the tag as UTF8 icon containers).
So the tooltip apparently is an actual tooltip, whereas I thought it was something like a hidden div being shown on a mouse-over.
I wonder if there is a way to get it to show on a click instead of a hover (preferably using CSS).

Shopify: Variables Available on Thank You Page?

I've got a small bit of code on my Shopify thank you page for a home grown fulfillment system. In oversimplified terms, it outputs a URL with template code that uses the {{id}} field.
<p>
Your order information is {{id}}! This is not the actual code,
this is just an oversimplified version for this question
</p>
Up until a few weeks ago, the {{id}} template variable would output the ID of the order object. I use this ID and the Shopify REST api to fetch order information. Now, for reasons that remain unclear to me, this outputs a different number that appears to be the checkout-id field.
Is this intended behavior? Is there anyway to get the old, real order object ID back? I can think of numerous ways to work around this, but I'd rather not mess with a system that's worked in a stable way for the past 5 years.
Documentation on this is spotty at best, but it seems like the old global liquid variables I've been using have changed their behavior. Acording to Shopify's documentation, on that Thank You page
You have access to the checkout and shop liquid objects
There's documentation on both the checkout and shop objects, and I was able to get the old behavior I was after by replacing {{id}} with {{checkout.order_id}}.
It also appears there's a liquid order object available as well, but given it's not documented as being available on the checkout page, I'm not sure I'd trust it to keep working.

Rest Console for Chrome won't let me input any info

I installed the Rest Console extension onto Chrome. I can't use this Rest Console for anything, because the only fields that accept text are 'Request URL' and 'Request Method'.
I ask here as there is no resources or community accessible for even simple instructions on how this extension works, and there are likely members of this community who have used this extension.
Use the Postman - REST Client it works perfectly!
your_url_to_post: Fill the URL
your_json_param: The name of the param that you'll pass you json
your_json_data: The json content
Don't forget to select x-www-form-urlencoded if you'll do a post

You should be able to enter text in the other field if you tick the checkbox associated to the field first.
I started having a similar issue myself (Forms wouldnt let me input data I could click them but thats as far as it went) across a lot of web pages to include my own php game and I know the form code hasnt changed at all before this issue started. I came across a article of someone else having a similar issue themselves that I was having and someone said that they needed position: relative on their forms that are not given specific instructions on positioning when dealing with google chrome. I have since made this change myself at www.immoralattack.com and the issue has stopped on that site but still continues on many others so its pretty safe to say that is the issue.
Its only happening on the dev build of chrome for me atleast and I hope this isnt something they plan on implementing on live or this will mess up alot of websites.
Also try turning off auto fill from chrome if its on, while I was looking for this bug I found alot of similar bugs but they delt with auto fill being on.

How to pre-populate custom field in signup form for secure zone in Adobe Business Catalyst?

I have created a signup form for secure zone in Business Catalyst. I want to give user access to that form in order to update the fields. I have created the page and its working only problem is there is no way to pre-populate custom fields in the form. I talked to their support and research a lot but all in vain. This is very basic thing BC missing. Is there a hack for it or some alternatives?
Just adding for anyone finding this that you can also populate fields that have been created and extended in the crm if they're stored against the customer record.
{module_customerfield,crmextformID,FieldID}
eg
{module_customerfield,7470,82256}
More info in the forums.

I have had this same issue and hopefully there will be someway they can fix this in the future. What I did for the time being is I used other tags that I was not using. IE module_workcity was not and won't be used by me so I then put that in a field that I needed the custom tag for. Here is a screen shot of what I am referring to. - http://screencast.com/t/b3pvuOcTi one thing to note here the screen name is different than username for this site.
Note: When the user signs up I have the person filling out a field for the "workcity" and just change the labeling.
Not sure if this is an option for you, and it can take some work but might help.
Hope this helps. - Another note BC related question you will get quicker answers on the forums there - http://businesscatalyst.com/support/forums
