I'm playing the video using YouTube api on the plotter, and using that method, there's a problem with the video sync.
Is there any way to correct this error?
I downloaded the video and voice separately and am using it because of the quality problem.
i was using this package :
youtubevideo player

I am developing a new native App. I have chosen Flutter for it (over React Native). In this app, there will be a section for video streaming. These videos will have HLS streaming.
I am using video_player package in Flutter for it. I am able to play the video successfully but there is no option to change the quality (1080p, 720p etc.). How can I implement video quality selection in video_player package? Also, does video_player have adaptive bitrate streaming for HLS?
You can use stack widget adding there video player and button. After pressing button you change url of video from 1080 p to 720 p.
There's a package which you can use to change the quality from 1080p to 720p, here's the package's link: yoyo_player
For those that might come here looking for a solution. It is a pretty trivial solution using the default video_player or even yoyo player. In front of the url, just add the file format type that you desire. For example for HLS just add ".m3u8" and for dash add ".mpd" and the video will work and still be adaptive.
So your full url should be something like this:
For HLS

For dash
https://itvnnowoptimised-sano1.streaming.media.azure.net/3c0ecaef-002f-461f-854a-2397449d351f/thestoryofjoseph.ism/manifest(format=mpd-time-cmaf).mpd
This was using azure Media Services.
I am currently using the Unity Vimeo API to stream videos but is there a way to download and store the videos at a particular resolution such as 720p so that they can be used offline?
This is currently not supported in the Vimeo Unity SDK, but we will consider that for our roadmap.
This answers a similar question and describes a way to save the videos yourself and load them back for offline playback.
I want to play a video in my app from youtube link e.g: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uner-3tTY1I.
But i don't want to redirect the user to any web view in the app. Just want to play that video in the video player in the current view of my application.
Is it possible to play the video without redirecting to UIWebView? If possible, how can i do this? Thanks for the help in advance.
The only allowed way seems to be using UIWebview. Doing it other way will violate youtube copyrights.
However there are few open source libraries out there. You can use it at your own risk.
Just use XCDYouTubeVideoPlayerViewController. It uses progressive download + MoviePlayer and AVFoundation frameworks.
To play this video you need to have the link to the video stream that is associated with video you want to play. Unfortunately this isn't so simple to get this link for some movies on YouTube since this link can be encoded for some movies (channel VEVO for example). Read this for more information about encoded links http://www.jwz.org/blog/2013/06/youtube-download-counter-countermeasures-applied/.
Unfortunattely as for now there is no simple way to decode these links. Despite this, you can get the source link for the not encoded films without bigger problems using some calls to the YouTube Api.
I am developing an iphone app in which i have to integrate the youtube api.
I am using gdata-objectivec-client library for iphone
http://code.google.com/p/gdata-objectivec-client/
I am able to search, like, dislike, upload video etc. through this library but i don't know how to stream and download the video from youtube using this library as there is no class for this.
My question is that is it possible to download/stream the youtube video through gdata-objectivec-client library?
Thanks in advance.
You cant download youtube video using API. Its against thier Terms and conditions.
But streaming is possible i think.

iphone:How to stream and play youtube video with in application using MPMoviePlayer?
In one Application i use YouTube Video for display i want first that video download from YouTube then it play from locally from downloaded source.
This is Possible.....If yes then provide suggestion...
You can use PSYouTubeExtractor.h class
It can get youtube mp4 video url and than downloading and viewing is not a problem
Here is my example
https://github.com/comonitos/youtube_video
You have to download your video through file location url using NSURLConnection .After that you can MPMovieplayerContoller to run that video.you can google to get example for NSURLConnection and MPMovieplayerController.
