When i try to run the flutter application via an emulator , the following error pops up. I have recently installed android studio and done the necessary arrangements like setting the path variable to JAVA_HOME.
Any help would be highly appreciated, Thank You!
Try this...
update android/build.gradle
replaced:
dependencies {
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:4.0.0'
with
dependencies {
classpath 'com.android.tools.build:gradle:3.6.2'

I can't run app on emulator/ real device.when i try to run app from vscode. it shows this error message. screenshot of debug console
i uninstall app and flutter clean.
UPDATE:
This error just happened to me when I launched the app in the store. I'm correcting it now, change the Location library to Gelocator.
At first I thought it was an error in Flutter 3.7.0, I lowered the version to 3.3.10 and 3.3.9 and the same problem continued. My solution was to change the location library to geolocator. It has almost the same functions, I only had to make a few changes.
https://pub.dev/packages/geolocator
No need to change the package I was also facing this issue I just fixed it:
Go into C:\Users\Qc\AppData\Local\Pub\Cache\hosted\pub.dartlang.org\location-4.4.0\android\build.gradle :
changed "com.google.android.gms:play-services-location:16.+" to "com.google.android.gms:play-services-location:21.0.1" works
dependencies {
api '"com.google.android.gms:play-services-location:21.0.1'
implementation "androidx.core:core-ktx:1.3.2"
implementation "org.jetbrains.kotlin:kotlin-stdlib-jdk7:$kotlin_version"
}
List item In project at android level go into build.gradle and add this line:
in my case, got to C:\Users\Md Emarat Hossain\AppData\Local\Pub\Cache\hosted\pub.dartlang.org\location-4.4.0\android\build.gradle and changed "com.google.android.gms:play-services-location:16.+" to "com.google.android.gms:play-services-location:21.0.1" works
I changed from "com.google.android.gms:play-services-location:16.+" to "com.google.android.gms:play-services-location:21.0.1" in my project this PATH
"C:\Users\chint\flutter.pub-cache\hosted\pub.dartlang.org\geolocator_android-4.1.7\android\build.gradle"
I am using Android Studio as SDK Platforms and SDK Tools. Currently, I have a problem when running the android emulator using Visual Studio. I have checked flutter doctor and no issues has been found. However, it shows an error as below.
As i run flutter run --verbose to search for the problems, it shows more details of the error as below
Just for sharing. Since I installed android studio, visual studio and flutter in my device using windows 11 pro, it doesn't work. However, I solved this problem by downgrading the Windows version into Windows 10 Home and it solved this particular problem. Anyone who face the same issue might try this in your current device.
This look like gradle compatibility issue.
Step to solve.
create new flutter project. try to compile the prject, if it work fine.
compare the android folder with yours and replace what is missing with the new flutter project you created.
sync your project after.
file/invalidateCache
flutter clean
flutter pub get
flutter run
you should be fine
To solve your error you have to update your compileSDKversion to the newest version which is currently 31.
You can find the compileSDKversion inside android > app > build.gradle
android {
compileSdkVersion 31
...
}
Note: you have to close and open android studio again
I am getting an issue when I try to run with command line
ionic cordova run android
The error that it diplays is this one:
ERR_NO_TARGET: No targets devices/emulators available. Cannot create AVD because there is no suitable API installation. Use --sdk-info to reveal missing packages and other issues.
But the thing is that I created a device in the Android Studio:
so I wonder what could the problem be? Thanks
You need to launch the emulator and keep it running before executing the command ionic cordova run android
Click on the Play icon in the Virtual Devices list to launch the emulator.
Might not be the answer you're looking for but generally, I use:ionic cordova build android
Then open the platform/android directory in Android Studio.
Maybe you should try this :
for see avaliables devices this:
ionic cordova run android --list
for run android app on device this:
ionic cordova run android --device --verbose
i hope help you.
Make sure you have the following variables set in your environment.
export ANDROID_HOME=$HOME/Library/Android/sdk
export ANDROID_SDK_ROOT=$HOME/Library/Android/sdk
export ANDROID_AVD_HOME=$HOME/.android/avd
i just setup my android studio and vs code and flutter SDK installed but any time i try running the project i get this Gradle error, i cant figure out what the problem is please help me out.
After running the flutter doctor everything seems to be okay.
the problem might be caused by many factors so lets try some solutions
after each one rebuild your app if the error message changed or the problem solved please keep us informed
run these commands one by one
flutter channel stable
flutter upgrade --force
flutter pub cache repair
cd your app folder
flutter clean
edit app/build.gradle in your host app such as it includes the local repo
like in here
repositories {
maven {
url 'https://storage.googleapis.com/download.flutter.io'
}
}
use VPN and rebuild your app
When I write flutter doctor command in cmd I get this error.

- android-21
- android-27

It appears as though this message shows up when you don't have any build-tools packages installed. At the time of writing, to install the minimum required versions, you can fix this issue with:
sdkmanager "platform-tools" "platforms;android-30" "build-tools;30.0.3"
I've set up my Android SDK manually on Windows 10 with the command line and I was able to solve this kind of errors while I tried to set up my development environment, if you want to solve it as I did, just follow the next steps that I posted in a GitHub Comment in a related issue:
https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/19805#issuecomment-478306166
You should download and install Android build tools for the respective platform versions. This can be done via the Android SDK Manager.
In AndroidStudio go to menu Tool > Android > SDK Manager
On the tab "SDK Platforms" select one or more platforms and click the OK button.
Wait until the download completed and try again.
Try to download all sdk from file-> settings -> sdkmanager.
And do not download manually.
Find your sdk path and execute the code.
$ flutter config --android-sdk <path-to-your-android-sdk-path>
see here
I think your path is incorrect in environment variable.
You should change it to G:/Sdkmanager/platforms
