MAUI MyApp.WinUI isn't running properly - maui

I am using Visual Studio 2022 Preview where I created a plain MAUI .NET Project. The project runs on Android Emulator properly but the WinUI App doesn't run properly. It shows the message below. But I checked starting project and Debug Settings. Can anyone give me suggestions to run the MyApp.WinUI project on Visual Studio 2022 Preview?

This is a known limitation at this time. Have a look at David's blog post at the end
At the time of release, we are troubleshooting the latest Windows App SDK Single-project MSIX extension for Visual Studio 2022 and .NET MAUI to address a failure to debug. You can successfully deploy the Windows app directly and run it from the Start menu.
From Visual Studio, right-click on your WinUI project and click Deploy. That will make it show up in your Start Menu, you can start it from there. Once started, in Visual Studio you can go to the Debug menu and Attach to Process. Find the process of your app and attach the debugger.

Can't debug Maui project with target project as Windows

I've tested out my Maui project on Android and it works perfectly fine.
Now, I've been trying to test it out on Windows, but as soon as I start the application, the application closes. The output log also shows 2147942405 exit code. I've tried to run the application as admin and I've also opened up Visual Studio as admin but it's not been a help.
Is there something else I should do?
At first, did you try to create a new maui project and debug it on the windows? In addition, is your pc's system windows 10? If so, it seems an existed issue which is about MAUI apps crash on launch on Windows after Visual Studio update - code 2147942405 on the github.
And you can try the workaround in this issue which tried to download the Microsoft.WindowsAppRuntime.Redist.1.2.zip and run its WindowsAppRuntimeInstall.exe (as admin) .
Finally, you can follow up this issue on the github.

Debugging via Visual Studio Code tizentv Extension

I can debug my app in Tizen Studio, however, the web inspector does not work when debugging the app in Visual Studio Code via tizentv extension.
https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=tizensdk.tizentv
The app runs on the connected TV.
The properties “type”: “tizentv” and “targetIp”: “…” are not recognized.
The documentation seems to be outdated.
Anyone succeeded in debugging apps via Visual Studio Code tizentv extension?

UWP: Folder in AppPackages is different from Package Family Name

I am developing a UWP app with Visual Studio 2019 Community 16.6.3.
When I run the app in Debug, Visual Studio deploys the app on my machine, creating a folder under
C:\Users\<MY_USER>\AppData\Local\Packages\
but the folder is named differently from the Package Family Name in my Package.appxmanifest.
Therefore (I guess), my connection to the MS Store is not working (I receive an error when I invoke the Store APIs) and also the OneDrive integration is broken.
Please note that my colleagues do not have any problem with the very same code-base (but they are working with Visual Studio 2019 Professional 16.5.5).
Is it a problem of the specific version of Visual Studio or is there anything in my code, in my machine or in my configurations that I should tweak?
Thank you!
Is it a problem of the specific version of Visual Studio or is there anything in my code
Please check if has modified the project's package family name, for the testing Visual Studio 2019 16.7.0 does not reproduce this issue. Please try to update the VS to latest version and delete installed app and re-build again.

Cannot get unity hololens project to work

I'm trying to get a project to work that i downloaded this link over here, from github.
I've followed all the (configuration) steps in the install guide and i am using the exact versions of the software as described in the guide.
The problem seems to be that some references to the Windows namespace do not work.
I've tried adding it but i can't get it done in the usual way.
The error messages i get when building in unity:
When i open the project in visual studio 2015 update 3 (after building it in unity):
It seems that the option to simply add the reference in visual studio is not present in this kind of project.
I think this shouldn't be to hard to resolve but i lack the skills and experience as i usually develop windows apps solely in visual studio.
EDIT
These are the configurations I used:
i open the project in visual studio 2015 update 3
You should use Visual Studio 2017 with the latest Win10 SDKs.

visual studio for Mac unity execution failed

I am running the latest version of Visual Studio and the latest version of unity. When I open the project using Visual Studio for Mac, I am able to rebuild the app.
But, when I try to start debugging, I am getting Execution Failed without any explanation or build output.
I am able to run the app successfully on iOS through Xcode, although the iPad is refusing to start the app automatically and I have to open it manually.
The issue is that , I can't start the app on Visual Studio for Mac.
Apparently, If you open multiple instances of Unity, Visual Studio for Mac will get confused and will not know which project to attach to.
Having one instance solved the issue for me.
