I have created a reddot cms component, in which I added this line
Also, I created a dynament in livesever having name as SomeFileName.xml .The job it is doing is to fetch a table colum from a database. The query works well in SQL Server and also when I define the connector.
But I am unable to get any data if I open the CMS page in any browser. To me, it seems that I am missing some configuration. I am using v 9.0 of both CMS and LiveServer. I am also using SQL Server 2005 as my database.
Please tell me if I am missing something?
Try accessing the page directly through tomcat, aka, http://hostname-of-liveserver:8080/cps/rde//path/to/SomeFileName.xml
This should contain the raw XML output of your operations. If you're not getting enough information, try attaching a report tag to your query dynament to get a little more:
report-tag="some-report-tag"
If a blank page comes up or appears to be having errors, try checking your rde.log for any errors. If it's too large, rename it and then re-run the request.
If you ask me, it sounds like it's either a syntax issue with the file or a problem with your XSL rendering HTML.

There is plenty of documentation out there for looking up what content DB a site collection uses in SharePoint. However, I'm looking for the reverse. I have a specific DB, and I need to know where (what URL's) it's content is referenced or displayed.
We have a DB that has been partially corrupted and in need of restoring. It appears the only clean backup we have of it is relatively old. However, at first glance the library we know to be using it is lightly used. There has been no new content added to it since our backup was taken.
I am looking for a way to confirm that restoring from this backup wont unknowingly overwrite some critical data somewhere else.
In doing more digging, I did find another SO post that was able to get me the information I needed.
How to see all site collections in a specific content DB
-ContentDatabase contentdbname | select url, #{label="Size";Expression={$_.usage.storage}}
In navigating to the returned URL, I found recently added data. So that now rules out the restore.
I'm trying to create & save a new form using Oracle Form builder however, I get the error FRM-10044: Cannot create file.
The same thing happens when I open and save an existing form (.fmb)
I've check the folder permissions where the form is being save, it has read write access.
I've tried saving it into a differ folder and also tried creating a new folder but it still throws the same error.
I'm able to create and save a word, excel document in the new or existing folders (as mentioned-above) without any issues.
I suspect it could be something to do with the Windows Registry or System Configuration settings because I had recently shutdown/disabled so of the services in the System Configuration (using
msconfig.exe). Unfortunately, I don't remember all the options that were modified.
I've gone through numerous discussion forums, but still no luck.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in Advance
I've experienced the same thing. But in my case, i compiled the form on server side. The error appeared because it was remote-controlled by more than 1 person. One of the remote session was possibly locking the file creation. So I logged off the other session and try to use 1 session only when compiling the form. This happens sometimes when we're using an OS with multiuser and multisession capability.
I have a weird network request in my page, which refers to JavaScript files, which I removed from every html file earlier. Cache is cleared and there is no single reference to be found in the source html and the JavaScript files. For fixing that and also out of general curiosity I would like to know if there is a simple way to find out where a request was triggered, preferably using the chrome-devtools.
Update:
Thanks to jaredwilli I found the initator column under the network-tab. However this only shows Other. What I would like to know, is the (html or javascript) file where those Requests have been triggered.
On the Network panel, you can determine what the initiator of a request was by viewing the Initiator column. It gives you the file, line number and type of resource it was, either Script or something else.
I am using Magento 1.7.1 and find that magento has automatically added ugly urls like www.afd.com/catalog/product/view/id/2728/name.html.
When I go into catalog > URL Rewrite, I see the target paths for all my products listed in the above totally unfriendly way with id numbers displaying.
How do I fix this en masse?
Thanks.

Try to do it by using a .csv file. You can create a php file which will run outside your project and do the expected changes via a csv file. Also hopes this will help to grab an idea. http://www.solvingmagento.com/magento-url-rewrites/
Refresh all indexes in magento, here is instrucion http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/magento/102-customizing-magento/how-to-reindex-your-magento-website, then flush all cache. Then magento should use Url Rewrites. If doesn't work make sure that you heve proper settings in
System->Configuration->Web->Search Engine Optimization
I am currently working on a spring webflow application. In this project there are certain entities that point to a document that contains more information about that entity. However sometimes this document is not provided. In that case the user must be able to research the file for himself.
I need a simple way to let the user search a file and then save the filepath of the selected file into the database.
For most of our components we use richfaces but I don't really like the richfaces <fileUpload> because it's too big and too complex. I have seen that icefaces and tomahawk provide nice solutions but our application is limited to richfaces.
I thought of just using the normal:
<form:form> <input type="file> </form:form>"
but I don't know how I can get the information from that submitted form into my bean. I hoped that I could trigger an event once the file had been selected and then use a listener in my bean that would read the filename from the event. However I cannot find the syntax to do this (I don't even know if this is possible).
Can anyone help me? I know I can just do it with richfaces but I don't think that the client would like that enormous form to just select a filepath
why don't you use a simple jsp file upload?
