How much does it cost to develop an iPhone application?
What would be the approximate cost to have an iPhone application developed similar to the USA Today and Sky News applications?
Thanks!
Depends on various Factors .
I am a 16 year old iOS app developer and develop apps for free for my school and my dads company etc ...
But if you dont know anything about developing it could cost you +$100,000 to get a custom made app

I haven't found a clear answer to this after a fair amount of scouring google and answers on here.
Our app being a mobile app gets a lot of sales from being able to, on a whim, be downloaded over 3G/Edge/Cellular because it is under the 20Mb limit (just).
We want to put in some more features but can't get any official confirmation if this is only for iOS 5.1 onwards, as in a hard coded limit for iOS5.1 devices (eg the New iPad) or it is remotely arbitrated from AppStore servers.
Probably leaning towards arbitrated from AppStore servers but at the moment either seem plausible.
eg. if someone has an iOS device running iOS version 5.0 or less AND has a 3G connection could you please try to download something big and free like 'Epic Citadel' over the 3G connection and let me know what the result is? The winner gets a well deserved virtual high five.
I have personally experienced the new 50 MB limit (post March 7th, 2012), even on iOS 4.
Short answer: yes. Since introduction of The New iPad, the OTA limit was raised from 20 MB to 50 MB.

What tool(s) can I use to produce iPhone App Screencasts?
I've heard there are ways to record movies from the iPhone Simulator. I realize there are possibly thousands of solutions, but which one is the most straight-forward, taking the least effort to set up?
The easiest way how to record iOS simulator is Sound Stage
Its only $5 and can do really nice videos....

whether the real time pitch change possible in iphone?
Real-time Pitch Shifting on the iPhone
but i want to ask that there is no problem with the use of dirac library in the AppStore to submit the application.
There are multiple apps that use Dirac (both the free LE and the commercial Pro) on the App store inluding some I have co-authored, so you should be fine.

Hello,
From where can i get windows SDK kit of iPhone development in free ? I am new on iPhone development and i want to start it.
Thanks
Officially there is no Windows SDK. Apple wants development of apps for their platform done on their other platform. There are some alternatives, but they can be hit or miss depending on your needs.
This is discussed in length in this topic:

Hope somebody can help. I have been googling trying to get an indication of how long it took apple to develop the AppStore & the iPhone SDK?
My Co. have had an idea to try and do a similar thing internally for our own apps and massively underestimating the amount of work that will be required.
If anybody has any idea how long Apple spent developing the SDK & AppStore, links to any pages even better, I would be very grateful for the info so that I can use that for discussion about the plans.
Cheers
Well apple has hundreds of trained engineers working for them, even still at launch, Steve Jobs said the iPhone took around 6 years to create. Along this time frame they were creating the iPhone SDK which they used to create all the apps built in to the phone. Since then they have been constantly updating the SDK several times a year, expanding a lot. The App Store, my guess is that they used the robust iTunes base they already had for distribution, and then all the rest (legal and technical) things should have taken no time at all.
I'm not sure what your company wants to do but it seems without Apple's resources you'd be better off not.
