My app needs to invite friends from facebook conenct is this possibl e?

If you don't see it in the API, then it's probably not supported:

You could load the page, http://www.facebook.com/invite.php in a UIWebView. The downside is the user would have to log in then.
You might want to contact the FB API folks and request it as a feature.

there are two modes you can use it in. One where your developer secret is in the phone app, if that makes you nervous you can proxy the authentication through your own server. FB developer site has the info along with programmer supported wikis

I'm facing the situation where I need to programmatically create multiple Facebook Messenger Apps to different chatbots. Pretty much something like ManyChat and ChatFuel. Can someone shed some light on how is it possible?
There's a thread on it from 2011 but I've been uncessful on finding documentation on these old Facebook API's.

There is no API for this. As ceejayoz mentioned, ManyChat and ChatFuel just run one app and use their customer's account with the rights manage_pages and subscribed_apps to subscribe the app to the customer's page.
That said, there is just one endpoint where all traffic is delivered to and the software has to route every message to this endpoint accordingly to the right page (using receiver_id in the payload).
Keep in mind that while you want to run several apps in parallel, you have to approve all of them. Without this approval, the app can not be reached from customers.

I am using the normal setup for sending invites through the requests dialogue:

The response is successful, response.to shows multiple ids. So sending these invites works like it should. The problem is that these apprequests are not shown up as notifications like they usually do, instead the only place to find them here.
Has the API changed? Looking for answers has given me no results, though I did find this bug report from February 15th 2013.
Is Facebook just testing yet again, or has the API changed but not the documentation? I am truly grateful for any insights!
There's two simple things that might cause that problem.
One is that you application is missing the Canvas. Just add it from the your App panel in Facebook Developers.
The second one - make sure your app is NOT in SandBox Mode. If it is it won't send any notifications. I lost hours before figuring that out and changing the code in all possible ways.

Its not facebook bug its a problem in your facebook app configuration :
Follow the below configuration and its working like a charm.
You just need to go in to the Facebook developer and select your app and goes in to the setting of your app and click "Add Platform" and select "App On Facebook" and than add canvas url in it. now try to send invitation and it will show the notification.

I realize this is not complete answer to the question and should be put in the comments. However I am a newbie and don't have enough reputation on StackOverflow to post comments. Emil, could you please let me know if you resolve this issue.
Had same issue, I added Secure Canvas URL, etc. But problem was I haven't provided iPhone Store ID inside iOS section in Settings.
As of Graph API 2.3, Game requests are only available to games.
As mentioned in Game Requests description, you have to create Facebook Web Games in App Portal, then you will get the notification with Game Request. Not for website anymore.
I had to implement facebook ‘apprequests’ instead of the deprecated ‘appinvites’ in an existing cordova app and spent hours debugging.
‘apprequests’ are only available in Facebook Apps categorized as ‘games’.
You can send notifications only to platforms (iOS, Android, Facebook web games) that are involved with the facebook app. That means, you will never receive a notification in your browser if you miss ‘facebook web games’ as platform. My expectation was to be notified in the facebook browser app if I was invited from a Mobile app.
iOS devices don’t get notifications.
In my case, I’ve missed to fill the app store id in the Facebook app platform configuration. After that, notifications appeared instantly.
If you like notifications in the fb browser app, you have to add ‘Facebook web games’ (formerly known as ‘canvas’) as plattform.
You can save yourself a lot trouble by creating test users in the app role category of your facebook app.
Let's say I have app on iPhone and Windows Phone 7. How to share (ex. Note) between my both apps, regardless any platform.

Be more specific, I want the user to go through his contact list and share through my app. How do I identify if the other user installed my app? and what platform he/she using?
Using the contact list isn't a good way to "share" in this regard.
You're asking two questions here:
How to build a system to share data between two mobile clients, irrespective of platform?
How to best enable users to find their friends to share data?
Let's start with the 2nd question.
I would leverage services like Twitter and Facebook and have your app connect with your users facebook account. This is a well known approach, and avoids having to roll your own account system.
With facebook as an example:
Facebook connect, you can get the facebookID of your user, as well as their friends facebookID. You'll need a backend webservice which you can query users by fbID.
When a user opts to use their facebook account, store their FacebookID on your backend service. Then using facebook's api's get a list of their friends facebookID's. Your app will lookup each ID using your backend service, and if it finds one, then you know that friend has also installed the app, and connected it to facebook.
So if Alice installed your app, connects to facebook, and she is friends with Bob, who also has installed your app, your back end service would return that Bob's facebookID is known to your app, and thus the two of them can share to each other using some protocol that you design.
If their friend's ID isn't known to your system, I would send them a facebook message, or post on thier wall with a restful link that invites them to check out the note you want to share on the web, and place the link to the app on the same page.
Due to the high level of your question, this answer is a bit of a 20,000ft view, and assumes you know how to build a web service.
If you want to see a great example of an app that makes use Facebook and or Twitter to find friends who also use the same app, I recommend checking out Groupme. It's free, and available for WP7, iPhone, and Android. It's a group SMS app, and uses your contact list, facebook, and twitter, to setup friends.
For the first question, you'll need to make use of a backend webservice. User would elect to share either in-app, or by posting to their facebook, with a weblink. In-app sharing, I would use an inbox approach. A user posts a message to their friend, and it gets stored in a queue. The app periodically checks the users queue to see if any new "shares" have been posted. If so, get that data, and present it to the user. Your back end service should also take advantage of newer app concepts like push notifications, because thats what users expect.
I would suggest using a web service such as Parse. This will allow you to focus on your app development and not worry about server coding.
Currently they do not have a Windows Phone 7 SDK but it is just a matter of making the REST requests manually to the service.
In my iPhone application, I wanted to add the function of signing into Facebook and letting a friend know about the app. I know how to sign in and get the friends list, but I cannot find a good way of inviting a friend. So far, I haven't been able to come up with a way to invite a friend (I don't think one can with the iphone facebook sdk yet) or send a message to the inbox. Is there a way to do either of these? If not are there any better options I haven't thought of? Thank you for any advice.

So with all these fancy new APIs and such that Facebook is making available, I've noticed that on the partner sites (Pandora, docs.com, etc.), there is no login---Facebook automatically signs you in. You don't even need to press a button to connect if you already have a FB session established.
Is this a feature of the new API? Or is this a Facebook partners-only feature? I haven't seen any information on whether this is possible for cool guys that don't run huge companies.
