So far I found some examples on how to configure dojox.cometd, but none of them configure the connectionType. I am currently more interested in callback-polling instead of the long-polling (that is the default one, as far as I know).
Somebody can help me here? I must admit that the dojox documentation is quite obscure for me, and even the source code is kind of obfuscated (at least to me, I am no a javascript-ninja coder)
Ok, I think I figured out that dojo is smart enough to activate the callback-polling looking at the url requested.

Sorry for such broad question, but after some attempts I'm not sure how to use python bindings. I tried to just import "request.py" or "capi.py" but all I got were errors. After adding missing libraries to my search path, I ended with missing symbol "_dispatch queue_attr_concurrent" (which suggest wrong library version?).
My question isn't about that particular error, but rather correct way of interacting with python bindings (and SourceKit itself). I have tried to use precompiled version, and compile it myself (https://stackoverflow.com/a/40033117/1117854), but result was all the same.
Is there something obvious that I'm missing? Or maybe someone with similar experience succeed and have some tips? It's not well documented and I'll probably find solution sooner or later, but I believe I'm not the only one who felt lost after first contact with SourceKit.
As part of a project, I am to implement the blog-application mentioned on this site: https://github.com/siserle/blog-example
There is absolutely no direction being provided as what I must do and I am not sure where to start. Can someone who is familiar with this type of application please let me know what steps I need to take. I am specifically supposed to implement the blog-complete section.
The blog-complete.xqm is found the restxq folder, and it has a lot of code. I am not sure what I need to do with that code. Looking at the code, it looks like I must separate it (though i am not sure), and place some files in the webapp folder of basex and some maybe in the static folder. Anyway, I am sure anyone reading this will understand that I am completely lost. Please shed some light on what I must do.
Your help is much appreciated.
I've looked all over the web and stackoverflow and can't find anyone talking about stubleupon.com's lineup. Including: framework, language, database, etc. Does anyone have any idea or at least a guess? - thanks
You can't really see such things from the outside. However, by hoovering over the "Join for free" button, you see a php link (the target of the button is signup.php, so the language probably is php (You can't be sure as it depends entirely on the configuration of the server).
It seems a lot to ask, but I'm looking for a cloud-based solution to managing code snippets. I am looking for:
Tags
User accounts (I want to be able to see all of my snippets on a single page)
syntax highlighting
versioning - myself or others should be able to edit my snippets to improve them and have revisions save so that I can go back and use an older version if I prefer.
straightforward UI with minimal advertising if any
Does anyone know of a solution which meets these requirements? If not, would anyone be interested in something like this? As a software engineer, after step zero (does it already exist), I'm perfectly willing to go onto step 1 (would other people use it? If so, make it).
www.codebarrel.com
it has everything you asked for
Sounds like Gist.

Except for the tags part. But it might be workable anyway.
I'm working on a site for this. The very rough (as in: barely works, but not even functional yet) initial version is here: https://github.com/jasongrout/snippets
What's the best way to get started using Popcap's "SexyApp Framework", and is it a good idea?

I'll take a (potential) Necromancer badge, even though you've (likely) already found your answer ... or went with SDL.
So, the developer.popcap.com is still active, although you won't find anything (like, say, docs) there.
Thankfully, you can still get it on popcapframework.sourceforge.net, which has all the installation guides, docs, etc.
It's been more than two years, but, hey, at least you got the answer. :)
