publishing iPhone apps without owning a website and tax details? - iphone

I am an iPhone developer from India and want to publish my iPhone apps to the app store using Apple's "Individual Developer" program.
But the catch is I don't own a website. Can I publish an iPhone app without specifying a support website at iTunes connect? Is it mandatory to specify a website there?
I am a non US resident. What should I do while filing tax details? Should I leave it blank? What would be the effect of leaving it blank?

You can't leave these fields empty, for the website, you can host a web page describing your app in any free hosting provider, and use the url!
For the tax details, you have to specify your bank account info! and depending on that, itunes connect can tell you if it needs more tax details or not!

How to add application to facebook as a developer

I want to know how to create/add an application in Facebook as a developer?
I tried from Facebook developer, but after click create new app, I have given app name and name space, but it shows one pop regarding you can't create app because of no authentication. so I can't move up. I don't know how to overcome this?
Is there any way to add an application to Facebook?
You'll have to verify your Facebook account as a developers account.
You can read about it here - https://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=167551763306531
Basically there are two options. You can verify your account
via mobile phone
by adding a credit card to your account details.
Don't worry - they do not charge your credit card - it is only to be able to track back applications to "real" people so that they can be held accountable for "bad" apps that violate Facebook's terms of service...

How to put iOS App in US App Store using Indian details

I am resident of India and have developed an iPhone App which is mainly targeted for users in US. I tried to clear my doubts using the documentation given by Apple but I am still confused.
Can someone please clarify that : If I buy a Standard Developer License from Apple using Indian Billing Address, and publish the App, will it be visible to ONLY Indian users or world-wide ?
No, not only india but all the countries and regions you defined in iTunes Connect.
When you submit an application through iTunes Connect, you can select which countries it is available in. It defaults to world-wide. You aren't restricted to your own country.

Question about selling iphone app

If I have app which is already on App Store is it allowed to sell it on my website ?
You can create website for it, you can promote it there, you can put direct link to the AppStore on your page, etc. But there's no other way how to distribute it - just AppStore. Otherwise users will no be able to install it on their phones.
You can check this website, it has some information about promoting your app on your website. http://www.apple.com/itunes/affiliates/faq.html

Does Apple accept iPhone App with hidden functionalities?

I'm building an iPhone app for a restaurant and would like to implement also an administration area that should only be accessible/viewable to approved users (users will be approved on a server).
Will Apple accept an App which has functionalities hidden to the majority of its users?
Thanks,
Miguel
There is a "Review Notes" field when you submit your app to the app store. From iTunes Connect Developer Guide, "Use this field to give demo account information with full access
to Apple for purposes of reviewing your application." You need to provide detail information here. If you don't do this and Apple finds out later the hidden things, then they will remove the app from the app store. You can safely provide information here, as this information is only available to the review team. User won't see that.
They don't like this, and you could get pulled if they found out. When you submit your app you are able to provide information only visible to testers, which could be used to provide a login to your admin service.

iPhone statistics access to client

I have created a iPhone application and got successfully approved by apple. The application has been uploaded in my company's developer account.
Now my client wants access to see the sales report. I cannot give him my company's developer account log in details because the account has many applications other than my client's.
Is there a way to allow access to my client to see the financial reports for his applications alone.
What are the alternatives available.
Update:
My client is particular that he wants to log in and see.
As per my knowledge, the only way he can see the report details is if I had uploaded the application using his own developer account.
One of the developer says,
"We will submit the iPhone application to app store from your iTunes appStore account. SO you will naturally have the access to all the available data. Please note that you need to buy a paid account for submitting the application to app store"
Does the iTunes appStore account mentioned above refers to developer account or is it different
If your client does not already have a developer account, he needs to enroll into the Developer Program and resubmit the App through his Developer ID. This will require an annual $99 fee to maintain access to iTunes Connect.
There is no "Sales Report Viewing" account... Apple will pay HIM for the sales of the App, not you. It sounds like you are paying Him now for his App sales from iTunes Connect.
If it's his App and you simply did the programming work, then you should have submitted it through his Developer Program plan in the first place - not yours. He should have given YOU access to iTunes Connect through his plan to submit the App, or have done that work himself.
Next time, you'll need to build this level of detail into the contract - specifically whether you will be paying him a monthly commission on sales, or he paid you for your time and the App is now his to manage with Apple.

One idea: you could make a modified version of AppSalesMobile that has your iTunesConnect username, password, and the apple ID of his particular app built in, but didn't display information about any other apps, and build him a copy for his phone.

Might be easier to just send him the sales in an email every day, though.
