Mobile Safari iPhone Development - Multiple buttons in a row - iphone

I'm an iPhone developer, but new to web development. I've done some basic HTML websites and made one in iWeb as well. I'm trying to branch out to mobile web development now, so I checked out Dashcode.
Anyway, I'm trying to put a Call Button, Mail Button, and Map Button in horizontal alignment. I realize that I can add a Column Layout and have two buttons in a row, but that's the most I've gotten.
Any ideas? Thanks!
Thomas
Edit: I still haven't figured this out yet. I was given advice about a fixed position button bar, but I am not sure how to implement it. I've been looking at code, but haven't gotten it yet. Still trying though. Any help is appreciated!

What i do usually is to select the element you can't align horizontally and then go to the inspector -> dimension tab and in disposition you select fixed absolute.
This should work but beware because if you've the intention to change element's place dynamically you may have some surprise...

I think you are looking for something like this.
A fixed position button bar is created with several buttons side by side.

Any way to make a checkbox able to be 'tabbed' to on an iPhone?

On a computer you can easily tab through HTML checkboxes on a website, but is there any way to make it so that on an iPhone when you hit the 'next' button it goes to a checkbox? I've noticed it'll go between text boxes and drop down menus, but it won't do it for checkboxes or clickable buttons. Is this an issue with the iPhone, or is it something I can change on my website?
Can you please be a bit more precise with your question. And if its the size of the checkbox that is a concern which makes it non tappable, then as suggested by the user interface guide of apple ios, please make the size as 44x44 to make it tappable. Well thats just a suggestible size and I believe a 25x25 size may solve your issue.

Flip from one ViewController to another iBooks Style

I'm trying to load in content from a database and allow the user to flip through it like pages, then at the end of the content, give them options to go to another section of content (probably with buttons). The content is currently just formatted with html, but how do I implement the buttons to navigate? I'm a little new to Xcode so maybe I'm not even looking in the right direction.
refer a this opensource: https://github.com/devindoty/iBooks-Flip-Animation
this is very little code and perfectly works.

How to select multiple items in a dropdown box in iPhone?

I am an iPhone developer. I am trying to select multiple items in a dropdown box in iPhone. I have tried all possibilities but unable to do it. Please suggest me. It's really very important to me.
Thanks in advance.
fabre..
Is there a dropdown box in iPhone? I am quiet sur that those doesn't exists and are usually replaced by tableView or picker.
What i would do is a tableview with self made cell views that are combining text and a 2 states button that design is a box checked or not depending on the button state. That should work fine with a proper controller behind.
this is one of the best examples you are looking for

How to build a USAToday type app? Horizontal and Vertical scroll control

I am trying to build an app similar to USAToday i.e. each "article" is a mix of images and text that the user scrolls vertically to read if it covers more than than the size of the screen. Scrolling horizontally brings up the next article and so on.
Each article should have "paging enabled" so that the content moves as if you are turning a page in a book whether you are moving vertically or horizontally.
I must have looked at every tutorial for Scroll and Page navigation, but I am drawing a blank. Any help is much appreciated.
BTW: I have down loaded this tutorial....
http://www.edumobile.org/iphone/iphone-programming-tutorials/pagecontrol-example-in-iphone/
... but (a) it builds ok but simulator only shows a featureless black screen, and I cannot work out how to correct it, and (b) it only scrolls horizontally.
The sample code that you reference is old so I think something has changed in the SDK since then. I was able to at least get the code to run by changing the MainWindow.xib file. I opened that file in Interface Builder and then selected the Window and then in the Window Attributes Inspector I ticked "Visible at Launch". Then the tutorial would at least run and show the colors. I think you might find that there are more issues with it though.
When you are wanting to page something, the real trick is setting the content size of the scroll view.

I haven't seen your previous post, but are you using tables? If not i suggest that you do, then probably even on the iphone browsser it should look ok.
