Bizspark Signup problems - bizspark

My company plainly meets the acquirements to enrol in Bizspark. Yet so far I have not been able to.
I first applied via a Networking partner but heard nothing back and then discovered the Networking partner I picked did not have contact details on their website so I re-applied with a different live ID directly to Microsoft and again did not receive a response apart from the initial acknowledgement.
Waited a few weeks and then tried again picking another Networking partner. They graciously responded with a link to enrol.
Now a moth later I am about to give up. I have a website (Although I dont yet need one as I have nothing to sell) and a working email address with the same domain. Do the Bizspark team notify people if they have been declined?

where are you located ? It took me more than a month here (Australia) to get approval from a networking partner. You should contact more than 1 partner (if accepted by any, let the others know that you already get an approval) as the first partner didnt reply me and I had to try the second one.
I dont think they will reply you if your application is declined.

Stuck in Facebook's Access Verification hell for Tech Provider Business

We use the Facebook API in our web app to provide a "publish to Facebook group" feature directly from the web app. Customers can publish the results they are achieving thanks to our products in our group.
To implement this very simple feature we had to duck, provide screen recordings, send business registration papers, give login credentials, describe the process from every perspective, crawl and bent.
Then
on Dec 15, we received the following message:
"We’re now requiring an admin of your business, [....], to complete access verification. This is a new process that asks for information about how you use the Meta business assets and information of your clients, so we can verify that your business is a Tech Provider."
Also in the same message:
"This typically takes around 10 minutes to complete and you’ll only need to do this once."
Since then I filled in the form 9 times, with serious effort. But every 5 days it just get rejected without a clear reason given, and there is no chance to contact a Facebook support.
Does anyone know how to fill in the "Access Verification - prove you are a Tech Provider form", so I will get accepted?
The actual questions that they keep asking are:
Add details about how your business will use Platform Data (i.e., any info or data you obtain from us) to enable a product or service on behalf of your clients.
Describe how your clients use your product or service.
I already tried the solution proposed here:
Stuck in Facebooks Access Verification hell
quoting their questions, but it has been in vain...
The time is running out, in some days Facebook is going to block the API if we don't pass this verification process, but I don't know what else we can try...
I tried to contact Facebook, but this seems to be impossible. Some forms (App Review Support) just give a generic error message.
I tried to post a request of help to the Facebook Developer Group, but they rejected the request because it's not related to a development issue.
Same when I tried to open a ticket with the Facebook tech support for a bug; they answered that it's not a technical issue.
There is no guide from Facebook on how they want this information to be provided.

Finishing Whatsapp Business API Setup

I came from a similar state in this question.
My objective is to reply to interested customers via whatsapp messages. I'll use a very special setup, so I'll be using the API.
Reasons:
With not to pay anyone other than container hosts
Solution with custom API
Customer doesn't like any extra costs
Just like user noboundaries, I see the numbers, but I cant get the certificate
User Navjot Singh has explained I need to create a "business api account"
I tried just that, put out all my contacts and stuff, in this site.
They did respond yes, but only with pointless instructions, since I wish not to contract any messaging providers. I had taken a look at it, but they charge a very expensive price beyond the $0.005 whatsapp will charge. Also, the solution I'm creating requires messages to be sent programatically, and the partners don't seem to provide the correct solution.
So, I wish to skip into using the api. I followed the appropriate guides:
Getting started
Phone Number
I already got some things done:
two phone numbers (one of them for testing) with whatsapp business;
company has been verified, with domain
have business management account
local environment with docker
I can access the local environment and I have set an user account and the admin acount. I can log into those via the API, since postman can ignore certificates, but in order to proceed I really feel like I need that certificate.
So to sim up I guess I need help creating the whatsapp business account for my customer. Any advice?
Also i'd appreciate any other helpful insight or feedback. I really feel lost and I don't see a place where I can talk to people trying to do the same thing, or doing this is much of a madness after all?
thanks for getting to read until here, and I apologize for my non natural, almost broken English.
Hi I wanted to start big in stackOverflow but I fell flat.
About the subject at hand, westerday I dwelt deep into the rabbit hole.
For most companies, you actually are forced to work with a provider, such as twllio or messagebird. They act as intermediary between the facebook business and the whatsapp business api.
Some of they offer messaging separated from whatsapp api setup I still need to take a look into it, but for those who are trying to set up whatsapp business api on their one, it seems as of november 2020 it's not possible.

Email about IPN certificate upgrade: Is it legit?

A few days ago, I received the following email from address paypal#paypal.com and with subject "IMMEDIATE ATTENTION REQUIRED: PayPal service upgrades.".
I have reason to believe it is a phishing attempt. Please find my notes in the end and try to justify why I'm right or wrong.
The only part of the mail that I removed was my name in the third line.
PayPal service upgrades.
,
As we have previously communicated to you, PayPal is upgrading the
certificate for www.paypal.com to SHA-256. This endpoint is also used
by merchants using the Instant Payment Notification (IPN) product.
This upgrade is scheduled for 9/30/2015; however, we may need to
change this date on short notice to you to align to the industry
security standard.
You’re receiving this notification because you’ve been identified as a
merchant who has used IPN endpoints within the past year. If you have
not made the necessary changes, we urge you to do so right away to
avoid a disruption of your service!
Because these changes are technical in nature, we advise that you
consult with your individuals responsible for your PayPal integration.
They will be able to identify what, if any, changes are needed. Please
share this email and the hyperlinks below with your technical contact
for evaluation.
Testing in the Sandbox is one of the best ways to make sure your
integration works. Sandbox endpoints have been upgraded to accept
secure connections by the SHA-256 Certificates.
Full technical details can be found in our Merchant Security System
Upgrade Guide. In addition, our 2015-2016 SSL Certificate Change
microsite contains a schedule of our service upgrade plan.
Thanks for your patience as we continue to improve our services.

Here's why I think it's fake:
They just address the customer by name, no "Dear" etc.
Copyright 2014? strange...
The phrase "we may need to change this date on short notice to you to align to the industry security standard" has a minor mistake (IMO, although I'm not a native English speaker) and doesn't sound like a company's policy. Talking about maybe changing a date is not professional.
The subject... come on, caps?
The links are to a strange domain, the certificate of which is issued by a different company than paypal.com's. One serves a pdf.
I think it's a pretty elaborate phishing attempt, but it strikes me that in online discussions about it (dating back many months), representatives of various companies treat it as legit.
So, am I missing something?
Yes that is a Legitimate email from PayPal.
For additional details, see this recent Stack Question:
How can I tell if my paypal certificate is SHA-256?
The PayPal Merchant Technical Support Site has additional information on the Certificate Upgrade and how to test your server.
Also if you ever wonder if an email is from PayPal you can forward the email to Spoof#paypal.com or the new email Review#paypal.com.

How to stop spam accounts

I have a web site using Facebook Connect where people have a strong incentive to create fake Facebook accounts and login multiple times in order to get more "votes" in my singing competition.
Anyways, I've come up with a strategy to identify these fake accounts and not let them use my site. (Haven't done the programming yet)
If their earliest wall post is more than 30 days old, then validate them.
If they have more than 20 friends, then validate them.
If their first profile picture is more than 30 days old, then validate them.
If their account has been phone verified, then validate them.
Number 4 is the one I'm having trouble with. One post I read says the GRAPH API has a verified field, but suggests that shows if the email has been verified (but not phone). This has proven a tough thing to search for. So I'm still unsure if this is possible.
Any comments on my strategy or help with #4 would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Actually the verified field should be what you are looking for. From the docs:
A user is considered verified if she takes any of the following
actions:
Registers for mobile
Confirms her account via SMS
Enters a valid credit card
We use verified and friend count to limit people. We even put those requirements into our legal terms so there's no misunderstanding.

iPhone Developer Program; Adding a personal subscription to a team account?

I have an "Apple ID" (which I assume is Apple's way of saying "account") that is associated with two iPhone Developer Programs as a team member. I'm trying to add a personal Developer Program subscription using this same Apple ID. I found this answer here, which implies that it should/may be possible (some of the comments seem to contradict the accepted answer):
Multiple accounts on iPhone Developer Program
So I went and paid my $99 using my current Apple ID. I got an "Order Acknowledgement" e-mail from Apple shortly after placing the order. If I follow the order status link in the e-mail, my order shows up as being "Electronically Delivered". However, when I log into the Apple developer portal, I am not given the option to choose my personal subscription. I can only choose between the two companies at which I am a team member.
So my questions are:
Is the question cited above correct in that I should be able to do what I am trying to do?
Does Apple send any communication after the "Order Acknowledgement" message, or is that all I should expect to get?
How am I supposed to log into my personal subscription?
Give it a little time. I don't think the 'order acknowledgement' means that the account has been created or is ready to use. It can take 24 hours before the account is created, perhaps longer over a weekend. So, wait at least 24 hours from when you submitted the application before you get too worried. BTW, the "electronically delivered" bit just means that they're not going to ship anything to you with this purchase.
You can check the status of your application in the iOS developer portal. Look for the "Check the status of your pending iOS Developer Program enrollment" link in the right hand column.
If the issue doesn't resolve itself after a day or two, contact Apple's developer support group: you can reach them by phone at 800-633-2132.
To address your question specifically:
Yes, you can definitely use the same AppleID to be a member of several development teams. However, a single AppleID can only be in the "team agent" role for a single account. If you're the agent for your company, you'll need to create a different AppleID for your personal account. (You'll know if it you're the agent -- you'll have to accept changes to Apple's developer agreement on behalf of your company every time they change it, which is at least several times each year.)
Yes, I believe you'll receive additional communication when your account is ready, or if there's any problem in creating your account.
Once your personal account is set up, you'll have to choose which development team you're using each time you log into the developer portal.
