Business Object XI 3.0 error - crystal-reports

In Business Object XI 3.0, while logging in publishing wizard I am getting following error. Any Help please
Logon Error
Transport error: Communication failure.(FWM 00001)
OK
Even CMC option is also not working. Yesterday also it was giving same problem. I had reinstalled the software. then it started working. Now today it is again giving same error. This happen second time. Please help

make sure your hosts file is right,eg 10.1.1.1 serverdomain.ping the server make sure the network is working.

It's possible that your firewall is blocking it, also double check your credentials within the cmc are correct and that there is connectivity between your database and your server. Also try connecting through the Administrative account.

PowerBI Error : Details: "PostgreSQL: 28001: Cannot connect to the server company.onmicrosoft.com"

I was working on a PowerBI report which I initially connected with the PostgreSQL on the Azure Cloud.
I was able to import the data and work on it till recently. I had whitelisted my earlier IP and hence connection was smooth. Today When I tried to connect from new IP (I have whitelisted this New IP as well) but it is not working. I am getting the following error. Not sure what should be done to continue working with the same report.
Details: "PostgreSQL: 28001: Cannot connect to the server company.onmicrosoft.com"
When I go to edit settings I am not able to change anything there as well. Not sure what should be done. Can Anybody please help on this.

Hi I finally figured out the solution to this problem so thought of posting it here so that it may help others who are stuck with similar problem
So this is what I did,
I checked the credentials it was all fine but I re-entered the server name and added :5432 its Port number in front of the server name.
Then it again asked for username and password, that I provided and it got connected to the data source very well.
Finally after hours of trial and error the issue got resolved

Connected To XEPDB1 From SQL Developer [duplicate]

I am using ORACLE database in a windows environment and running a JSP/servlet web application in tomcat. After I do some operations with the application it gives me the following error.
ORA-12518, TNS: listener could not hand off client connection
can any one help me to identify the reason for this problem and propose me a solution?
The solution to this question is to increase the number of processes :
1. Open command prompt
2. sqlplus / as sysdba; //login sysdba user
3. startup force;
4. show parameter processes; // This shows 150(some default) processes allocated, then increase the count to 800
5. alter system set processes=800 scope=spfile;
As Tried and tested.
In my case I found that it is because I haven't closed the database connections properly in my application. Too many connections are open and Oracle can not make more connections. This is a resource limitation. Later when I check with oracle forum I could see some reasons that have mentioned there about this problem. Some of them are.
In most cases this happens due to a network problem.
Your server is probably running out of memory and need to swap memory to disk.One cause can be an Oracle process consuming too much memory.
if it is the second one, please verify large_pool_size or check dispatcher were enough for all connection.

I ran across the same problem, in my case it was a new install of the Oracle client on a new desktop that was giving the error, other clients were working so I knew it wouldn't be a fix to the database configuration. tnsping worked properly but sqlplus failed with the ora-12518 listener error.
I had the tnsnames.ora entry with a SID instead of a service_name, then once I fixed that, still the same error and found I had the wrong service_name as well. Once I fixed that, the error went away.
If from one day to another the issue shows for no apparent reasons, add these following lines at the bottom of the listner.ora file. If your oracle_home environment variable is set like this:
(ORACLE_HOME = C:\oracle11\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server)
The lines to add are:
ADR_BASE_LISTENER = C:\oracle11\app\oracle\
DIRECT_HANDOFF_TTC_LISTENER=OFF
I had the same problem when executing queries in my application. I'm using Oracle client with Ruby on Rails.
The problem started when I accidentally started several connections with the DB and didn't close them.
When I fixed this, everything started to work fine again.
Hope this helps another one with the same problem.
I experienced the same error after upgrading to Windows 10. I solved it by starting services for Oracle which are stopped.
Start all the services as shown in the following image:
I had the same issue. After restarting all Oracle services it worked again.

And from oracle server listener log, can see more information.
and I found that the SERVICE_NAME is not match the tnsnames.ora configured Service name. so I changed the application's data source configuration from SID value to Service_NAME value and it fixed.

I had the same issue in real time application and the issue gone by itself next day. upon checking, it was found that server ran out of memory due to additional processes running.
So in my case, the reason was server run out of memory
first of all
check the listener log
check the show parameter processes vs select count(*) from v$processes;
increase the process, it may require SGA increase

The parameter is incorrect (WinMgmt)

I have a BizTalk 2013r2 Standard Edition application server with CU7 installed. The BizTalk databases are hosted on a separate Sql Server 2014 server. This setup has been working fine for many months - until today! A colleague used the BizTalk admin console to make a change to the address BizTalk uses to the reach the SMTP server, by selecting Platform Settings\Adapters\SMTP\\properties.
After making this change, on attempting to refresh the BizTalk Admin Console, the following error is displayed:
From what I've googled, it seems this may be due to some corruption in the SSO database. I have a backup of the SSO database, and a backup of the SSO key along with the password. Before restoring the backup of the SSO database, I wanted to check that I would be able to restore the key, so I ran ssoconfig -restoreSecret from the command line. I was prompted to enter the password. If I intentionally enter the wrong password then it tells me the password is incorrect. However, if I enter the correct password then it displays the message "BAD DATA".
Although the BizTalk admin console is currently unusable, thankfully the BizTalk host instance continue to run and messages are being processed as expected.
Can anyone please suggest why I'm getting the "BAD DATA" message, or perhaps a work-around in order to solve the problem?
I had this problem again and blogged about it at BizTalk WinMgt error solution. As Colin says the hard part is identifying the corrupt handler. It is probably the SMTP send handler but you should check this using WBEMTEST first. I found this link helpful on using WBEMTest. In my case a quick fix to bring the BizTalk Administration Console back to life was to hack the database. N.B. This probably won't be supported by MS. In my case it was the FTP send handler that screwed up. So I ran

At this point the BizTalk Administration console came back to life. In my case it worked because I was creating a new handler but in your case you just edited it. It will take all your SMTP handling out.
I then fixed the corruption using the BizTalk Administration console.
In my case I had to set every FTP receive and send adapter temporarily to a FILE adapter.
I then deleted the FTP adapter and then re-added it. Finally I reset the all the change receive and send location from FILE back to FTP.
This was all very scary on a live system.
Finally I believe that this is bug in BizTalk 2013 R2 because I've seen it happen on 2 systems and now I have heard that the same thing happened to you.
The WinMgt error happens when one of the Adapters setting has gotten itself corrupted. See WinMgt error when refreshing Group Hub
Removing and re-adding the adapter to the host usually fixes it. The trick of course is identifying which Adapter / Host, I would start with the SMTP adapter in your case.

Web Deploy not working. Timeout on client. Schannel 1203 on server

I'm trying to deploy an application via web deploy to a windows 2012 r2 server.
First tried installing iis, web deploy using the msi. After getting an unreachable error I saw somewhere that I needed wmsvc to be installed and installed it via powershell command Install-WindowsFeature Web-Mgmt-Service.
I stopped getting the unreachable error and started getting this error ->
Error: Could not complete the request to remote agent URL 'http://xx.x.xx.xx:8172/MSDEPLOYAGENTSERVICE'.
Error: The operation has timed out
On the server's event viewer under system I get the following error ->
A fatal alert was generated and sent to the remote endpoint. This may result in termination of the connection. The TLS protocol defined fatal error code is 10. The Windows SChannel error state is 1203.
Any idea of what could be going on? Did I miss something on the installation?
After this I also tried installing everything but without iis and I get the same error.
So, this is really not a PoSH issue.
Maybe you should consider movin gthis question to another forum.
Anyway, you have either real server config issues (this can sometimes mean wipe and rebuild - very ugly option - but if it's a virtual machine and you have a snapshot, just roll back), or an app causing this.
Typically for Schannel type of error, it has to do with application or service in machine not able to complete any SSL connection sort of connection.
The error state parameter of 1203 means client error connecting to server, ie invalid ClientHello from the client

I realized this is an old question, but in case somebody ran into the same issue, here are my solution.

Copy the resulting publishsetting file. In the Publish/Profile page import it.
In the Publish/Connection page, change the server to the server address with the 8172 port. Add the password. Change the Destination URL to the site to go to after the publish is completed.
Then after Validate connection was completed, go ahead and publish it!

"Authentication servers are down, please try again later." vanilla 1.8 MineOS

I have had a MineOS setup using the pre-packaged Turnkey bundle on a dedicated system and it worked at first, but recently the system kicked everyone off the server. Any attempt to reconnect give the message: "Authentication servers are down, try again later." and 4 days later, same issue.
From what I can tell this means that the server can't verify my user ID with Mojang's servers for some reason. I checked and there are no disruptions on Mojang's servers, so it must be my system. I tried disabling online-mode and it said "You are not whitelisted on this server." and still wouldn't let any one in. Im thinking this is an error in the firewall configuration but I dont know how or where to start with that. I have already verified that my router is not blocking access to Mojang's servers so it must be within my system configurations somewhere.
What confuses me is why it worked at first and then quit seemingly at random. Any thoughts on what is causing this and how to fix it? thanks in advance for any assistance
turns out the dns server had gotten messed up when changing a static ip. fixed that and everything started working again.
