is Zen nineSixty theme compactible with iPhone? - iphone

I have created a custom theme using Zen nineSixty (960 Grid system) in drupal and it works and looks great on all major browsers. I was just wondering if anyone could let me know if I need to do anything else to get this theme working on iPhone or is it auto compatible. Many of our potential clients use iPhone so was wanted to check in if Zen nineSixty (960 Grid system) is iPhone compatible.
Thanks!

You don't have to do anything special to things to work on the iPhone. iPhones can render all normal webpages it does use webkit after all. The 960 grid system wont be a problem either.
If you want to make it really slick, you will have to make a mobile version though. But then you can make your site look like a native application.

How to animate my view?

HTML5 optimized for iPhone

I have a software that eventually will have some reports to be accessed via iPhone.
Once I am not willing to develop an iPhone app, I´d like to make these reports accessible via iPhone Safari browsers.
GMail in iPad uses HTML 5, so I guess I can do the same.
My question is where can I find some resources to learn best practices doing so and how can I test it in a PC computer.
Thanks
Here is a similar answer I've given: Exclusive CSS for iPhone/Android
For testing you can use Chrome or Safari, as they are both webkit browsers (which is what the iPhone uses). Safari can even render as the iPhone user agent.
Hope this helps.
Please take a look at PhoneGap, I think that is what you are looking for.
You can emulate the program in xCode, but you will need an Apple for that. For PhoneGap also..
From the app architecture view-point you should also consider introducing app-specific optimization such us:
Simplify the app (show only what you need for mobile)
Minimize Application and Data Size

Aggregate Images into a Single Composite Resource (Sprites)

Include Background Images Inline in CSS Style Sheets

Keep DOM Size Reasonable

Ensure Paragraph Text Flows

Avoid Redirects

extend jquery draggable/droppable to support on iPad and iPhone

I've been using JQuery draggable/droppables in my application from last 1 year. Now, the application needs to be supported over iPad and iPhones.
Known, above JQuery won't support drag/drop over iPads...
I'm looking for a some JQuery plugin or so which I can connect to my existing JQuery codes for drag/drop over iPad.
After googling, I found some alternate ways like, JQTouch, jquerymobile etc.. But, it looks I would then need to do massive changes (or, write a complete drag/drop things from scratch) in my application :(
My application is very heavy and hence looking for some quick/easy way to connect my existing JQuery solution into iPad touch events etc....
Please help
Thanks in advance
This project will allow you to use jQuery UI on the iPad:
http://code.google.com/p/jquery-ui-for-ipad-and-iphone/
https://github.com/furf/jquery-ui-touch-punch
this will work with draggable.. dont even need to change your code when using draggable!

How to use same layout for Android and iPhone using Titanium?

I am developing an App using Titanium for iPhone and Android. I created a button and a label and textfield. It looks good in iPhone but is scattered in Android.
I think I have to adjust the each of the control's position. But this would be a big overhead.
Is there any alternative mechanism there by which we can have controls correctly placed both in iphone and Android?
You should take a look at the guide for Designing the User Interface. With each new version of Titanium Mobile, the platform becomes more consistent between the various supported platforms. You really should not need to maintain separate codebases.
First of all don't go for same look and feel. iOS and Android are totally different OS. In Titanium you don't have many controls which are available for iOS.
Let the look and feel be different for Android, don't make it iPhonish.

Though their docs are not maintained properly. I would suggest you to use some cool graphics which can enhance the look and feel of Application.

It should not be, post your code. The look and feel might be different, but it should not be scattered.

IPhone Web Design Preview

I've been using Safari on Windows and the iBBDemo Blackbaud iPhone Browser Simulator to emulate an iPhone but I have noticed that Safari does not render form elements using the default control styles. Safari on iPhone supplies default control styles that are specific to iPhone. This means my web forms look nothing like they do on an actual iPhone.
Are there any style sheets or iPhone Web Design Tool Kits that will style the form elements exactly as they should appear? Or is there an online service that provides screenshots of how a web page looks on an iPhone?
If you have a Mac, then the easiest way is to use the iPhone Simulator. It might not be suitable for your purposes, though.
There are a lot of things which you'd need to do to get the rendering right (there are a lot of rounded rects, and the user can scale the page to an arbitrary size, and strange things sometimes happen when you rotate the device).
